Stairs leading up to Memorial Wall
Jen N.

Finally got down here to visit the Veteran's Memorial Wall. We parked across the street in the covered, free parking garage. I love the Art Deco style to the buildings down here. We found the Memorial Wall up the stairs and behind the amphitheater. It was very peaceful up there. Although it is small, it is very nice to have something like this in town.

Produce from the Farmers Market. Mrs. H Produce

I finally made it to the Farmer's market they have here at the Henderson Events Plaza every Thursday from 9am to 4pm. First wipe away any preconceived ideas you might have about Farmers markets. This one is small, but very nice. They had two different farms with produce there. Both offering different items. I ended up purchasing a cucumber for 75 cents and a zucchini for another 75 cents from Country Fresh Farms. I also picked up a huge juicy plum, a bunch of plump red grapes, and a baby spaghetti squash all for $6 from Mrs. H's Produce. Everything was delicious and fresh. They didn't just have produce they also had a bread stand, a lady selling Scentsy products, a charm bracelet stand, and other arts and crafts. If you are in the mood to eat they have a tent for that too! Offering hot dogs and other items. If you're looking to get out and stretch your legs a bit while buying awesome locally grown produce you should for sure check out the Henderson Farmer's Market. It may be small, but they have a lot of stuff.

She was organized, calm, and on top of every detail. She made the entire process feel easy and stress free. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly because of her and DJ Syd. The photographer, whose name I sadly forget, perfectly captured our memories. The food was amazing (get the chicken piccata). Our guests are still talking about it. Every dish was fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. The service was even better than we expected. The staff was attentive, kind, and truly cared about making our day special. Perhaps best of all, is the fact that we weren't nickel and dimed. Their pricing was up front and truly turnkey. The value for our money was amazing. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Las Vegas, this is the place. The Side Yard exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not have asked for a better experience.

I was blown away at how delicious the food was, one of the best rigatoni alla vodka I had. It was cooked perfectly and piping hot. Chicken Parmesan and chicken Marsala were excellent as well, their portions are huge. Our server Jace was amazing! Very efficient, friendly and made sure our drinks were always full. He even got me a yummy bday dessert! We will come back soon to try rest of their menu and happy hour.

From the photos on my phone, we first dined here in 2022. I was going to go back and update my five star review because we recently dined here again avoiding the strip due to EDC weekend. In 2022, they had the best Crab Bucatini, everything was great including the service. Fast forward to 2026, we were surprised that the restaurant wasn't full. The service wasn't on point as it was in 2022. I was really looking forward to the Crab Bucatini, I didn't realize they changed their recipe. In 2022, they had a lemon butter sauce which complimented the crab well. 2026 they added tomato sauce to the recipe and it wasn't as good. No wonder it was not marked as best seller. Plus, the crab pieces were less, and 3x I bit into crab shell. I told the bus boy who cleared the plate, he apologized but the server was not informed. The complimentary focaccia was not as good as 2022. Calamari, the batter was thinner and lacked flavor. Not sure what happened, but what I am learning is that when I find a restaurant that is really good, I shouldn't come back anymore years later because I will just be disappointed. I'd rather keep the good memories of the first time alive. Photos from 2022 and 2026 for context.

Farrar Wedding 2025…read more Absolutely an experience! We had our wedding event here on July 19, 2025. From the moment we sat down with David to discuss what we wanted, he was incredibly understanding of our budget and knew exactly how to make our day as beautiful as I imagined! Everything was beyond exceptional--our guests loved the venue and couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything and everyone was. I always have and will continue to recommend Factory of Dreams and/or Skyview Banquet Hall to anyone looking for a venue! That said, we did experience a few hiccups during the planning process. Communication with Chef Francisco G. wasn't the best--he wasn't timely in responding, which caused some stress. However, the food turned out good on the day of the event, though I was surprised and a bit disappointed that the kids were served Little Caesars pizza. As for Irma, who I was told was the event coordinator--she was very sweet and helpful in the beginning. But when it came time for the wedding rehearsal, I was told I had to find my own coordinator. This was frustrating because I had gone over all the event timing with her, so I assumed she would be the one handling it. If I needed to bring in someone else, I wish I had been told upfront--it would have saved some last-minute stress before my big day. And id also like to give a big thanks to the Bakery used Cakes Las Vegas so good with the flavors my husband does not like sweets but he did enjoy your cake. Despite these issues, I truly thank the entire team for their hard work and dedication. You all helped make our wedding a day to remember!

This venue feels like a hidden garden oasis in Las Vegas, set on a private four-acre property with lush landscaping, charming walkways, and thoughtfully designed spaces for ceremonies and receptions. The venue & atmosphere: During the day, the gardens are elegant and romantic--but at night, they become absolutely magical. White string lights glow throughout the lush gardens and trees, creating the most dreamy, fairytale-like atmosphere. It felt intimate, cozy, and incredibly beautiful--perfect for evening photos and a romantic reception vibe. Ceremony & reception flow: The ceremony space/chapel was classic and romantic, and the transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was seamless. Their banquet rooms are versatile and well laid out, so nothing felt rushed or awkward. You can tell this venue is designed specifically for weddings and special events. All-inclusive convenience: Sunset Gardens is an all-inclusive venue, and it truly shows in the execution. Their packages bundle catering, cake, DJ, photography, and coordination, which minimizes stress for couples. As a guest, everything felt organized, polished, and professionally managed from start to finish. The food (10/10): The food exceeded expectations--wedding food done right. The buffet offered a great variety, and every dish was 5/5 delicious: * Prime rib (tender, flavorful, and one of the standout dishes) * Shrimp scampi * Skirt steak with chimichurri * Wild rice pilaf * Roasted Brussels sprouts with mushrooms * Caesar salad Everything was well-seasoned and thoughtfully prepared, but the prime rib and Brussels sprouts were absolute highlights--so good that many guests went back for seconds. Staff & service: The staff was attentive, professional, and clearly experienced with weddings. The entire event ran smoothly and on time, allowing guests--and most importantly the couple--to fully enjoy the celebration. Overall: If you're looking for a romantic, garden-style, all-inclusive wedding venue in Las Vegas, Sunset Gardens is an excellent choice. Between the glowing night lights, stunning grounds, seamless coordination, and genuinely delicious food, this venue delivers a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!!

We loved the ease of hosting our wedding and reception all in one area with accommodations so close by for our out-of-town guests. The venue also presented a variety of ceremony options throughout the village. We loved the all-inclusive offering of the venue, especially as average weddings in the US can now cost $33k+. Danielle's all-inclusive package was far more reasonable. We did encounter some snags along the way, although Danielle did much of what she could to try to iron them out, but be advised that because the venue has to work with the local housing associations and boards that manage the wider village calendar, they move at their pace, and that can sometimes slow down dates being locked in. On the flip side, while we committed to the all-inclusive package, Danielle also allows for flexibility, such as us deciding to forego a cake instead selecting a variety of desserts. She was flexible, helpful, and responsive along the way. Overall, we loved the vast majority of the vendors we were connected with. Our rehearsal and wedding day went off without a hitch. The Lake Las Vegas village is beautiful. If you're considering this for your special day or any event requiring a space, we would definitely recommend it.
