Super friendly and convenient over on windward side. Small little store but has most essentials. Plus a really nice coffee store right there. Has food and supplies.

Stayed on the windward side for a week and basically got all our breakfast from this place! Loooved all of them. Acai bowls everyday. And takeout poke for lunch on the beach :)

Celery, fried chicken and my partially eaten spam and egg musubi. Great buys including the Sacred Falls Honey!

Love this family store in Punaluu. Came to the coffee shop at 8 am this morning because it's under new management and has a new name called Coffee Cove Hawai'i (formerly Keao's Coffee). Stopped in the store to buy spam musubi that includes egg & daikon (this one sells out by 9 am), maki sushi (so fresh and ono), butter mochi, fried chicken, celery. So nice to get all this in one place PLUS great Coconut Vanilla Latte with almond milk, Matcha Latte, Mocha Macadamia Nut Latte, and an Acai bowl! Great service and really nice lattes, right in Punaluu!

The brownies here are awesome!! $1.50 for a brownie that would easily be $7 in Canada. Good assortment of drinks. They sell butter mocha- it's my first time trying it and it's pretty good w respect to the flavour, but I found the texture a bit grainy. That being said, I don't know what makes a good butter mochi. The brownie cookies were also excellent.

Charming Mom & Pop family store with the sweetest owners. They made our family Sunday picnic perfect with all their Ono bento items, salmon special, fresh sushi, & Samurai for the kids. Just across the highway is also the most picturesque beach spot. Couldn't ask for a better spot to enjoy some relaxing family quality time. Love local businesses like this one for all the love and pride that goes into keeping their store thriving. Will definitely make this spot a regular visit for our Ohana. Hope visitors and kama'aina alike continue to support this locally-owned, locally loved store/eatery.

Great place to stop for a small lunch and snacks. Got the Korean chicken with rice, a deluxe spam musubi and a "brookie" for less than $8.

While driving up to the north shore, we got a bit hungry so decided to stop for snacks. I ordered banana bread, butter mochi, and this sushi looking thing. The clerk called it a local sushi. The rice was a little vinegary, the tuna tasted like canned or fried tuna, I think there was yellow cucumber, and I have no idea what the bright green color is (see picture). Although there wasn't a good rice to filling ratio, the combination of flavors was still tasty. It was also really cheap but I forgot how much. I think all 3 things cost less than $8. The banana bread and butter mochi were so good! So soft and flavorful. I would plan to make snack stops here on our way to the North Shore again.

2 beers and some really good boiled peanuts for just $6.22, and you get a seat on the beach. Doesn't get better than this.

I ordered vanilla beans and a vanilla kit at the end of November. A day later I wanted to order a few more kits, so contacted LVC and owner, Saili, let me know that I could pay for them and they would include them in the original order. I received a notification that my original order was mailed out (the first order was the only one noted). I'm not sure why, but the postal person did not deliver them (it was storming on delivery day, unsure if he felt it was too wet to leave for me). I received a notification that it was returned to the post office and I immediately rescheduled delivery. It was labeled as such on the tracking that it was supposed to be redelivered. The redelivery date came and went. Since I was using these for Christmas gifts, I reached out to LVC just to make sure both of my orders were included in the same box since the tracking info only listed the first order products. I thought that maybe if not everything was in there, I could have LVC mail the second order in an effort to get some gifts on time. Saili let me know everything was in the box. Saili also tried to call the post office but they did not answer (thank you Saili for trying!). Just before Christmas I got an email that my delivery was received. I was so excited thinking my box was dropped off. To my surprise, the box was delivered back to LVC! I contacted Saili and asked what my options were. Unfortunately the holidays are so busy I could not make it out to Laie to pick up and that's when the most unexpected thing happened. Saili offered to drop it off at my house. Aloha spirit alive and well! Thank you again Laie Vanilla and Saili! I see other reviews noting a vanilla tour - would love to do this one day. Can't wait to get my vanilla beans marinating!
