So for me I'm not a rib person I savored their other meats. I had the brisket and polish sausage. I found it interesting how they sliced it (really thin) but for me I got a good taste of the flavor I felt and don't worry they didn't skip on the portions. I got the regular 2 meat sandwich with no bread. They have their own sauce which has a great taste as well. I tried their spicy pickles and I did enjoy it. I would like to see them take their own sauce as I enjoyed the clover and add some kick to it lol. The lady who waited on me was extremely friendly and knew I was not from there and explained everything. It is a small town tavern in the middle of the town Williamsburg nice peaceful and you feel at home. They were not busy when I got there but by the time I left I felt it was standing room only. NOTE!!!!!!!! They are CASH orCHECK only so be prepared. It's worth it just about 20 minutes south of KC

I wouldn't say G&M is divey, but divey adjacent. Beers are cheap, and the food is delicious. I ordered a slab of ribs, so I would have some to take home. They had a great bark, delicious flavor, and were literally fall off the bone. They didn't require sauce, which is good, as the only sauce at G&M's was a bit sweet for my taste. Don't pass up the Jalapeño Pickles! I had the potato salad and beans, both I thought leaned sweet as well, however, the Jalapeño Pickles may have thrown off my taste buds. It's as what you expect, a restaurant at a travel plaza. The menu was extensive, business medium, and the service was decent. For lunch I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, and a side of fried pickles. Both were pretty good! The pickles were breaded and fried well, unlike other places. The salad was great, and they gave you a lot of salad dressing on the side. My only complaint is that I was not given any silverware, and had to ask a different server for some. I would for sure go back though, as the burger looked amazing.

Our waitress was super friendly as were all the staff I interacted with during my visit. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and wanted us to have a great experience. I was very pleasantly surprised by that. The restaurant itself was pretty plain, but clean. The focus is definitely on their food and service. I had the special of the day, which was a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a house made roll for like $10. It was delicious. Everything on the plate seemed made in house, and the roll was hot out of the oven. Their pie case was filled with house made pies, so I had to have a slice. I got raspberry cream, which isn't one I see very often, but do like a lot. It was excellent as expected. By the checkout they had pies, chicken pot pies, bread, and other things to go which also looked amazing. This one is definitely worth going out of your way to try!

It seems to be a family run business, the restaurant is clean and somewhat cozy. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming so they definitely get positive marks on their service. The food was decent, nothing really notable however. For a quick lunch stop, it hit the spot. They have a few options including a daily special and some various regular menu items - burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fried chicken plates. I ordered the broasted chicken which I thought was ok. It was cooked well, crisp outer skin while moist and juicy inside. The batter did leave me longing for a little more spice however. I paired this with some mashed potatoes - extremely plain and kind of dry, and a side salad. All surprisingly served on paper plates and plastic cutlery - which was a little offputting for me but it kept the meal humble. For what it is, it's not a bad spot and the price points are decent. I would try out some of their sandwiches on a future visit which seemed like a pretty safe bet.
