Salted Fish fried Rice. The wife highly enjoyed it.

Homely Chinese food. Scary bathroom. Will come back in the future. I haven't heard the wife speak so much Cantonese in a long time.

How is this placed not packed constantly?! Hands down some of the best Cantonese we've ever at the most lowest prices. We ordered 7 delicious dishes and it was $90!! The service was so quick and the ladies were so sweet and attentive! By far one of our favorite places now. 5/5! Free outside parking

Wow, the last time I ate here was in 2001. You read it right! I rarely come to this part of town as it isn't safe, especially at night. Besides there are so many good options inside the Beltway. Had the Cantonese pan fried crispy noodles, Beijing style pork ribs and fish tofus. Big portions and tasted ok. Didn't care for the fish tofus since they tasted a bit bitter. A bit too dry on the ribs but good flavor. Glad I took my husband to this hole in a wall place. No change in decoration and serve staff.

Very good food, affordable and they give good amount of food. I highly recommended ordering these foods. -- salt toasted chicken wings -- salt toast pork ribs -- salted fish and chicken fried rice

The BEST fried eggplants EVER! SOOOOOO DELICIOUS! If I knew it was that good, I absolutely would have bought an extra order so that I could have a full order of those super crispy, super yummy beer battered eggplants all to myself! On the other hand, everything else that I had yesterday, including egg fuyong, lobsters w/ fried noodles, braised pork belly w/ taro, cellophane noodle stew w/ shrimp, was just alright. Anyways, I'm soooooo going back to buy more fried eggplants! Service is good, price is unbeatable. The place is in shabby conditions but who cares *shrugs* Just don't drive a fancy car! LOL.

Great Chinese food Fast service…read more Clean spacious dining area Dim sum especially hot and delicious

If you're looking for one of the best dim sum spots in Houston's Chinatown, Crown Seafood…read moreRestaurant is easily my go-to. This has become our favorite place for dim sum in the Bellaire area. It's perfect for family meals or even small celebrations--there's always a lively atmosphere, and it really feels like a traditional dim sum experience. We have our usual lineup every time we come, and it never disappoints: * Steamed shrimp dumplings (har gow) * Steamed pork shu mai and pork/shrimp shu mai * Deep fried shrimp dumplings * Deep fried crab claws * Pan-fried taro and turnip cake * Pan-fried stuffed bell peppers * Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce * Steamed BBQ pork buns * Steamed rice noodle rolls with shrimp Everything comes out fresh, hot, and flavorful. One thing that really stands out is the portion size--the dumplings here are noticeably larger than most other dim sum spots in the area, which makes it feel like you're getting great value. We usually pair everything with a pot of jasmine tea, and sometimes add a few Vietnamese iced coffees, which hit the spot perfectly with all the savory dishes. Overall, it's always a treat whenever we're able to stop by for lunch. Great food, generous portions, and a perfect place to gather with family--highly recommend if you're craving dim sum in Houston.

This spot is low key with a nice, clean interior and friendly service. I visited here to check out…read moresome noodles and crawfish. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

One of the best Vietnamese places I've ever been hands down. I still think about it a year later…read more They had a very big variety of food on the menu, so you could have your fill of Vietnamese dishes. I believe the crawfish is seasonal, so go during crawfish season because this pho was delicious. The crawfish were so tender and the pho was so flavorful. The beef dish was also so good to eat and balanced. The fried beef balanced so well with the fresh salad and rice. I will say that when we went the parking lot was a little deserted at night. I would definitely lock your doors and take all your valuables. But that's all or Houston, so just stay safe!

We ordered six dishes for four people, but unfortunately nothing really stood out. The salt and pepper shrimp was my favorite dish of the night, though even that fell a bit short because it wasn't very crispy or particularly flavorful, and I wished it had more spice. The noodles, which were supposed to be soft, were actually quite hard and chewy. The fried rice lacked fragrance and depth of flavor. The oriental beef was overly tough, and the Kung Pao chicken didn't resemble the dish at other places as it came with corn and assorted vegetables but had very little flavor overall. While service and seating were fine, the food itself was underwhelming across the board. Given the experience, I wouldn't come back, but it might work for someone looking for a quick, no-wait option rather than standout Chinese food.
