Very good food, the decor needs updating but I definitely try it again. Prices were competitive with other similar establishments

Decent Chinese food. They only take cash. Called in a carryout and still had to wait.

The food is excellent. Whether you dine in or you carry out…read more However, you should be told that there is a fee to use a debit or credit card! And you should be able to get a receipt. I think that would be good . Last time I was in, they could not give me a receipt, and the amount that he told me was almost 3 dollars more when it came through my debit card in my bank! Not acceptable in my book.

So disappointed with Wong's Garden tonight…read more I hadn't had Chinese food in months and was really craving it, so naturally I went back to what had always been my go-to spot for sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken. One of the things I always loved about Wong's Garden was that their chicken had that wonderful deep-fried crispiness that held up even after getting it home and throughout the meal. I also appreciated that their egg rolls were filled with bean sprouts rather than being packed with cabbage. Tonight, unfortunately, was a completely different experience. We ordered sesame chicken, a General Tso's combination dinner, vegetable lo mein, a pint each of egg drop and hot and sour soup, and crab wontons. After the additional credit card fee and a tip, we were at $80 for takeout. A little sticker shock, sure, but I figured we could consider it a midweek date night and enjoy a meal we'd been looking forward to. That excitement disappeared pretty quickly. Both the sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken were incredibly mushy. Not a bit of that signature fried crunch I remembered. And this wasn't because the food sat around getting soggy. I arrived just as our order came out of the kitchen and was home, unpacking it in my kitchen, within five minutes. It honestly made me wonder whether they've changed their recipe or preparation. As disappointing as it is to say, I've had better sesame chicken at the mall food court. But the texture wasn't even the worst part. There was a very strange, off-putting flavor that seemed to carry through nearly every dish. I can't quite describe it other than a musty, almost perfume-like taste. It was distinctive enough that I noticed the same flavor in multiple items, and it completely ruined the meal for me. Oddly enough, the egg roll and crab wontons were the only things that didn't seem to have it. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially for a local restaurant I've enjoyed and recommended in the past. I actually hadn't planned on writing a review tonight, which is why I didn't take any photos. We ended up throwing most of the food away after eating the egg roll and crab wontons, and I figured I'd just chalk it up to a disappointing $80 dinner. But as I sat here afterward, I couldn't shake that strange, off-putting taste that seemed to be present in nearly everything we ordered. Just thinking about it was making me feel nauseated. I still can't put my finger on what that flavor was, but it was unpleasant enough that I felt compelled to write this review, even if only as a reminder to myself of why I won't be returning. It's especially disappointing because Wong's Garden used to be a place I could count on when I wanted good Chinese takeout. Unfortunately, it's time to find a new go-to Chinese restaurant. If anyone has recommendations for a great local spot, especially one that makes genuinely crispy sesame or General Tso's chicken, I'd love to hear them!

Today Walking in the customer service was no friendly at all. Just a lady walking to the counter…read moresaying how can i help you. Kinda felt rushed. But she did her job. The food was hot and steaming. We ordered in person. Its pretty chilly inside the waiting area today. Our First time trying this place. I swear the order was ready in 10 mins or less. I was surprised. It didn't taste like much though. Like, no flavor. I had the tso chicken & my spouse had the blackened. It was $21.something... The chicken was mushy. No type of crunch at all. My baby didn't like it. We read reviews after trying this place; smh. Wish we read them first. We were in the neighborhood.

It's legit-really-bad. Changed hands several times over the last 10 yrs (that i've paid attention)…read more Most recent proprietors actually used to do a much better job, but things have gone so far downhill that I'm wondering "did they change hands again?" but actually they did not. The people are actually very nice and the service is good. But the food is just plain weak. Reminds me of Faygo -- take 100% of the ingredients you need to make a good, flavorful, sweet, bottle of soda .... but instead you make two bottles out of it. This is the same but with Chinese food. Seriously, the General Tsao's is *so watered down*... You could go to a "good" Chinese restaurant -- (good luck finding one around here) -- and say "Make me General Tsao's but water it down please", and it would not be as watered-down as the sauce they serve you at Panda. Just telling it like it is. Prices don't mean anything when every bite makes you go "why did I buy this?!" They sell gacha junk there now, tho, so.... I guess if you don't feel like driving down to the casino....
