It was decent for being the ONLY Chinese restaurant in Lucedale but it does have a good location being in the middleof downtown. The buffet is small but carries all the usual fare. The fried rice looked good, but lacked flavor. The lo mein also looked good but again was kinda bland. It did have a mix of the older generation as well as children, so it maybe due to the sensitive palates of those folks that it does seem slightly lack the flavor you expect from other Chinese buffets. The hall to get to the rest rooms is not wheelchair friendly nor are the restrooms. All in all I would go back if I had no other choice in the matter. read more

Absolutely not!! Beware!!! This Buffet does not enforce people wearing a mask and gloves when making their plates. They allow people to reuse plates and touch food on the buffet with their hands. It's not about Covid i but using decent hygiene practices: Even though the restaurant does have signs up for mask and glove use at the buffet they do NOT enforce it. First of if you call to order no one answers the phone. Fine your loss, go to Arby's. Second try I order off their website. All goes smooth for a pickup. Nope apparently they do not take CC online. Nice tables overlooking Main St and fairly clean bathrooms. Frozen breaded tv dinner style shrimp tasted like old fish. Reminded me of a ZZ Top tune. Sparsely filled bland rangoon. Hot and sour pretty hot even for a South Louisiana chef--my wife couldn't finish hers. Maybe Cinco de Mayo recipe? Pale and chewy egg rolls were surely baked. Several chicken dishes without much thought. Commercial canned sauces added to most entrees that called for it. Salmon was in 2 inches of hot water. Mmm tasty. Dip ice cream tasted like reefer, and I don't mean the good kind--I mean the Commercial refrigerator kind. Yuuuummmm---eeeeuuuuuu. Waitress was hardworking and nice. Chinese food is about the average for what one finds in most chinese restaurants, however service is excellent, clean atmosphere. Green beans are very good, as is the egg drop soup, good fried rice and they do have the obligatory couple basic sushi rolls. This tends to be one of the more busy restaurants in Lucedale, especially on Sundays. read more

It's a $5.99 lunch Buffet. Been here a few times. Everything and I mean everything was lukewarm- ahhhhh my biggest pet peeve. Panda Palace in Gulfport is always good and hot. I don't get it. Absolutely love this restaurant! The prices are very reasonable for the buffet. The waiters and owners are super polite. Also, their sushi tastes great. The food is fresh and delicious. I especially enjoy the coconut chicken, sweet and sour chicken, wontons, and the black pepper chicken. Also, the atmosphere is great. There's a cute little pond when you walk in and they also have really cool lights on the ceiling that change into bright vibrant colors. They also play really enjoyable music, mandopop, to be specific. All in all, it's a really nice restaurant with good food and good service. read more

Pretty good Chinese buffet! It's above average Chinese Buffet with a lot of selection. They seem to be very clean place and not a bad place. Every time I have been here it is busy! Like others have implied, the food is not kept at Board of Health standards. While it is very good, flavorful, and plentiful, it's just a matter of time before someone contracts food poisoning. That having been said, we have been only once, but will be back. read more

I went last night when there was a party of friends and the food was so old! I dropped a fried shrimp on the plate and it clattered! I cannot believe it. Not bad food. The servers are pretty good; Above average, in my opinion. They're there to great you as soon as you walk in the door. The keep the empty plates cleared and drinking glasses full. We never have had to wait on our check or to check out. I don't remember seeing the buffet empty, even in the evenings. The food is about average. It's a nice change from fast food. They have a pretty good array of foods to choose from, for a smaller venue. Needs work on cleanliness, though. read more

Everyone that works for this restaurant is very nice and polite. Even though I do not know -- do not understand their language I do love it when they interact with each other through their language. The bathrooms are very cleaned. The restaurant is very cleaned as well. The food is fresh and hot. The buffet areas are kept cleaned and the serving trays are kept full of their delicious food. This place has been overhauled and it still is a great place for a meal. Not only that the prices are reasonable as well. This is my family's typical Chinese restaurant as well. Do Not Waste Your Money! This was one of the worst buffets I've eaten at. Egg rolls were luke warm & chewy. Steamed shrimp was so overcooked it just ended up as mush in my hands.
