Very good authentic food. Have had both chicken and beef dishes and have liked all of them. The fries dumplings are also quite good

Our first and last time here. We decided to dine-in. The girl at the counter (where you order)…read morebecause there is no table service here wasn't familiar with the menu. We ordered sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and pot stickers. The fried potstickers were served first. There are no fountain drinks here, so it's bottled beverages. The potstickers were actually good. The sesame chicken was hot, but the sauce was unlike any that I've ever had and that's not a good thing. The lo mein was below average at best. The crab Rangoon were good. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was a marmalade. The chicken was hot, but the sauce was not complimentary. The rice was bland and undercooked as there were hard pieces of uncooked rice. Our main complaint was with the cleanliness of the tables. Ours smelled like mildew and we watched one employee clean off another table in which she used an obvious dirty rag. The Health Department should be made aware of their lack of proper hygiene regarding the cleanliness of the table. They also only give you plastic, cheap forks to eat with. In a sit down eating establishment, metal utensils should be provided. We can definitely mark this one off of our list as we will not be returning.

The garlic chicken (or shrimp) has broccoli, green beans, carrots, and I believe a few others which I can't remember. It comes with rice and an egg roll. The egg rolls are delicious as well but wish they were larger so we order extra. We never eat inside although there is a dining area. The people are very friendly there.

Always a great meal!…read more When our family is craving quick, delicious, and affordable Chinese food, we lean toward No. 1 Kitchen. This place has been around for a while, and it's easy to see why. Our typical go-to order includes orange chicken, chicken fried rice, beef lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, and sides like wontons, egg rolls, and fried dumplings. The food is always served hot and fresh. We've never dined inside the restaurant, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but our experience with both call-in orders and DoorDash has consistently been smooth and reliable. For the most part, our meal is ready in a decent amount of time, although there have been times we have had to wait a little longer. Still worth it. The portions are generous, and we almost always get a second meal out of what we order, which makes it a great value. We'll definitely keep coming back to this local favorite!

We've ordered from China 1 a few times now through DoorDash, and we've had consistently good food…read more The rice, whether white or fried, is always delicious! A lot of restaurants serve overly dry or overly wet rice, but China 1's rice is always aromatic and delicious. It is, dare I say, the perfect rice! It smells and tastes just like the rice my childhood friend's aunties used to make in their bamboo basket. :) My husband loved the Hunan Chicken so much he wanted to immediately order it again! It was under 30 minutes 'til closing, though, so we didn't do it. He's very much looking forward to trying it again soon. We've tried the sesame and lemon chicken as well, and even when delivered they're still crisp. The egg rolls were also crispy and delicious. China 1, you are doing a wonderful job. :)

I've been on the hunt for some good Chinese since moving here 7 years ago. I knew it wouldn't be an eat in experience but that was fine. I only live about 2 miles from there. I've tried probably 15 different Chinese restaurants since I moved here and this one could very well be the worst ever. I ordered the chicken fried rice with an egg roll and hot and sour soup. The egg roll wasn't bad but the rest was horrible. I'm not opposed to trying this place again with a different entree but if it's anything like the fried rice, that will be the last time.

This is your run of the mill Asian buffet and it was crowded on a Saturday night…read more I am not big on buffets and was reluctant to come here, but it was good to try regardless. I liked the Mongolian grill, which you are able to pick your veggies, meats and sauces and have someone cook it for you. It actually was quite decent and flavorful. Obviously, they use cheap meats like the beef was very chewy, but you get what you pay for. All the fried stuff was ok. I did really like the fried sweet potatoes. All the usual Chinese American dishes were meh. The soups looked questionable and there was no way I was trying the sushi, so I can't comment on that. Desserts seemed ok. There were some packaged ones like crème puffs. Really liked the watermelons though - they were sweet. I would highlight that the people who work here are friendly and pleasant, which was a big plus. So overall, I thought it was a good price $15.99 for dinner for this type of quality. Note that there's a 3.5% charge for credit cards. I honestly do think a lot of people would likely enjoy it -the number of patrons there proves that. It may not be for me, but it might be for you. Remember to tip for the workers, who are taking your plates away.

But what do you expect when the food is Two of my favorites are the cumin beef and the fried ribs, both are packed with flavor and come with your choice of fried or white rice. I've also the braised pork which was ok, the pork was a bit tough. Ive had the spicy dumplings, which are really good. My only knock is that the one time I ordered them to go, most had broken apart by the time I got home. Still delicious, just a little disappointing presentation-wise. The green beans are an absolute must-try, and PLEASE do not sleep on the cucumber salad! It's fresh, flavorful, and easily my favorite appetizer on the menu. If you're looking for great Chinese food in Tulsa, this place absolutely deserves a spot on your list. And yes...I'll definitely be back. Just maybe not three times in the same week.
