    Wonton soup
    Jo H.

Came just in time before their lunch special ended at 3pm. There were a couple of people inside ordering take out when I entered. A female employee greeted me as I looked at the menu on the counter. I decided on the bourbon chicken which was served with my choice of fried rice and wonton soup. I asked the female if wonton noodles came with the soup and she assured me that she would put a small bag along with the food. It was about a 15 minute wait. There are adequate table seating if you want to eat your food inside. The wonton soup was just the right size for me...usually the container has too much broth and I end up throwing it away after eating the wontons. Broth wasn't salty and wontons didn't have a chewy texture like it was sitting in the broth for too long. The bourbon chicken was nicely prepared and complemented the fried rice well. I used the duck & soy sauce packets provided to add some flavor to the fried rice as it was cooked with no salt. Reasonably priced and portioned for a nice lunch, I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Pick up order. Friendly, all good until I got home and started eating. The hot and sour soup was overly thick with corn starch and ZERO sour to it. 4 people took a bite at the same time and basically freaked out over the taste. Nothing like it is supposed to be. Then I took a second bite and almost broke my tooth on a piece of wood that was in there - attached.

We are staying right next door in the Wyndham and wanted Chinese food. Googled it and found the number. Found a menu online which seemed old because after ordering the food, the total was a lot more than expected. Ordered wings with a quart of white rice, quart beef lo mein and a combination of boneless spare ribs with house special fried rice. The total was $30 and some cents. The portion was not worth the price-- it's definitely pricey! The lo mein tasted good but there was hardly any beef in there! The portion of the boneless spare ribs was small as well but according to my husband, it tasted real good.

    Vegetable Lo Mein....delicious!

The food here is consistently good with friendly customer service. The meal is always made-to-order & is still hot by the time we get home. The vegetable lo mein is our favorite. I recommend this place!

The only take out foods I would order here. The foods are delicious and they are clean. Prices are reasonable.

I was in the Pompano Beach area and remembered there was a Chinese restaurant in the Garden Isles Shopping Center. The parking spaces fill up quickly during the evening; luckily, I managed to find one. A pleasant employee greeted me and took my order for a quart of house special wonton soup. I asked the employee if he had fried wonton noodles to go with the soup, and he confirmed that he did. The small restaurant had only a few tables if you chose to eat inside. It offers a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices. I received my order within minutes and immediately headed home. As I pulled the container out of the bag, I was pleased to see it filled with not only wontons, but also shrimp, chicken, roast pork, carrots, broccoli, snap peas, scallions, celery, and mushrooms all in a flavorful broth. Now this is a wonton soup I can thoroughly enjoy.

I knew after these starters the meal was going to be exceptionally delicious. I had the orange beef and my wife had the snapper. I didn't mention the Mai Tai and the lichee Martini which were made perfectly. Earnest is a great server who is professional all the way throughout the dining experience. We will return to this not inexpensive establishment but worth the money. Chinese food in Fort Lauderdale is limited and this is steps ahead of Christine Wong. Needless to say the restaurant is beautiful and very comfortable which enhances the dining atmosphere.

In the end, we went to Enson Market in Plantation and were able to buy roast duck there. Their staff was helpful, the duck was handled cleanly, and the quality, taste, and price were just as good. It's in a different type of location -- a very small strip of businesses with only a few spots in front -- in the middle of a residential location. We were driving by between lunch and dinner and decided to stop to bring some food home for a later meal. When we stopped by, we got to meet the owners and chef. They were both very welcoming and friendly. He told us about some special meals and made suggestions. He was preparing some blue crabs for his own lunch, and they looked wonderful. You can get some special meals here, off menu, if you preorder. We went with a couple of our usual choices so we could see how they compared. We ordered some pork with Chinese vegetables and an order of Singapore rice noodles. Plus, for me an order of egg roll. The rice noodles were such a large portion that it filled two containers. And we wound up eating several meals from our take home food. The eggroll was very good. I ate one right away! There were two to the order. It had a different crispy wrapper -- it seemed house made. And it was filled with larger bits of meat. I really liked it. There was a lot of large flat pork slices in with the vegetables. In a brown sauce, there was broccoli, bok choy, pea pods, etc. It came with a side container of white rice. The rice noodles were fragrant with curry, but it only had a slight kick (as in not too spicy). There were lots of shrimp, chicken, and pork strips mixed in with the thin noodles. This dish was addictive. We are so glad we stopped to try them. Really one of the better Chinese places we've tried and certainly one of the better take-out places. Wish they were closer, or we'd be there more often.

Delicious and so kind. I got the chicken and broccoli dinner combo. Will definitely be back!read more
