    Their full buffet.
    Lisa E.

Attached are photos of the buffet or lack of. We arrived well over an hour before closing and they would rather stir the crumbs than be bothered to make anything extra. My next question is how long was it under lamps per guidelines? 10.99 so they can focus on cleaning and not customers.

    Accurate fortune.
    Vincent S.

The only thing this place got right was the fortune. "There is always a better alternative." The crab Rangoon's were small and bland. The lo mein noodles were soggy and bland. The pork friend rice was sautéed yellow rice with 2 tiny pieces of pork. The vegetables in soup were thrown in whole. Don't expect a buffet be anything better than just that. If you want a cheap crap Chinese buffet to go to this is your place. If you want good Chinese food go anywhere else. You'll pay double for takeout here that's the same as the crap buffet food they serve. RUN AWAY!!!

Not fancy not huge but quality food on buffet. My go to for Chinese buffet or carryout. Especially the moo goo gai pan and teriyaki chicken.

Pretty Rough at 3pm. Food looked like it had been out for days. It's cheap, but even considering the price, I wouldn't go back.

I did not go inside, but from my vantage point it looks like there's a few places to sit and they keep the inside very clean. I got the BBQ boneless spare ribs with fried rice ($11, one of the more expensive meals there). It is a large portion, and I split mine between two meals. It also came with a chicken egg roll which was really meaty and crispy - both good things. I didn't take a picture of everything right away but I instead share my lunch portion picture. The ribs are tender and already bite sized atop the bed of rice. The fried rice does not have a ton of vegetables in it, which is fine. I don't frequent Avon very often, but I'd definitely keep this place in mind when picking up dinner after coming from the airport!

Highlights were the Crab Ragoons and the Vegetable Lo Mein. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken but it was not spicy and actually quite mushy. I also realized they completely forgot to include the white rice that came with the chicken and that was quite unfortunate. Overall a okay place but nothing special.

I stopped by for a takeout lunch and was greeted by clean tables, a friendly smile, and lots of tempting menu suggestions. Thai Basil has parking lot, and you can choose to dine in or grab your meal to go. I went with the Massaman curry, ordered it medium hot with tofu, and was delighted when it arrived with a spring roll, salad, and soup. Talk about a lunch. Most Thai places only toss in a spring roll or soup, but here, they know how to treat a hungry guest. I ate my food and felt full and happy, ready for a nap. Next time I am turning up the heat and trying it hot, because I like my curry with a little more kick. This curry had a fun twist with a touch of sweetness, pineapple, nuts, and a few surprise ingredients I had never seen before. The food was fantastic and I will absolutely be back when I run out of new to me places in town. The portions are generous, the price is right, and Thai Basil just earned a spot in my Thai foodie hall of fame. Thai Basil, you have a new fan. The only hiccup was that most of my soup took a little trip in the bag, thanks to a sneaky/broken lid that didn't stay put. Thankfully, the bit that survived was delicious!

Even with the springtime rush making the parking a bit of a challenge, the atmosphere inside is wonderfully inviting. I managed to snag a darling little corner for myself, and the energy was just perfect. The hospitality here is truly top-tier; both the cashier and the gentleman behind the counter are simply lovely. My waiter was beyond charming and presented a menu with an impressive array of sophisticated choices everything from Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup to Steamed Eggplant and Beef Pancakes, with most entrees beautifully priced between $15 and $20. I decided on the Beef Noodle Soup ($12), and oh my goodness it arrived in a mere ten minutes! Talk about impeccable service. The broth was divine, and the meatballs were prepared to perfection. I was so caught up in the moment that I completely forgot to snap a photo before finishing every last bite! It was an absolute triumph of a meal.
