I LOVE this place. It is my go-to for Chinese; I moved farther away & will actually make the drive to get this instead of somewhere closer. Their portions are quite large, especially for the cost. They are always so kind & quick with getting food done! I don't often eat inside the restaurant but when I have it's been during quieter times. Love love love read more

Good enough? I visited for the first time hoping for quality Americanized Chinese food (based on rave reviews from friends) but find it to be semi-average. The chicken lo mein noodles are super thin, unlike regular spaghetti noodles that I've found in other Chinese restaurants. I think it comes down to personal preference so this is not a dish I will be ordering again. The Mongolian beef had decent flavor but zero scallions. Mongolian beef should be thick slices of green onions so that was a disappointment. I also found the chicken fried rice super bland and boring. Next time I know to stick with white rice for the better option. Portion sizes are reasonably large where each dish can easily feed 2 people. I did appreciate that restaurant giving me a punch card after my first order. It's motivation to try other dishes as prices are reasonable. I'm willing to give this place another try before ruling it out. read more

Very good food, and you get a lot for the price. I had the shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. It was enough for me to eat off for three days. I ate it for breakfast lunch and I ate at the night before for dinner you can never go wrong with China restaurant. read more

Ordered on two separate occasions. First time around was the same result as the second try, ordered different dishes both times. Chicken was soggy, no crisp no crunch. Fried rice was literally just fried rice..... no egg no veggies of any kind. Last time the wife and I will be ordering here read more

Used to be our favorite for Chinese but hasn't kept up to our tastes. Rices, all types, are mushy for last several years. Fried items have been greecy too. Sodas come in cans. Good size servings and quick service makes it convenient but we are looking for something better now. read more

My mom and I love this place and often go there for lunch. Family owned, delicious food, huge portions, and great prices. I love the lunch specials, which come with cream cheese wontons and enough food for three meals! read more

Sadly, came here twice recently. I did not want to give a negative review after giving such a glowing review. It was just not the same. The food quality deteriorated so much, I can no longer give 5, or even 4 stars, in good conscious. It is obvious that substitutions for cheaper ingredients occurred, and it is obvious to my palate :( . read more

My husband and I ordered wonton soup, pork fried rice and dumplings. I never like to write negative reviews but I spent $45 on three items and it was horrible. Worst wonton soup I've ever tasted. The rice tasted like it wasn't cooked properly and the taste was off. The dumplings were a 4 out of 10. This place is not worth ordering from. Safe your money. I'm giving it a 1 bc I couldn't give it a 0. read more

Our waiter was very kind and went above and beyond with the service! Bring your friends because the portions are exceptional.

Good food (it's greasy Chinese food). Nice people working there. Massive portions. Like massive.

I ordered take out from Uber Eats. Unfortunately the hot and sour soup and eggroll were extremely salty, and this coming from someone who really loves salt. I couldn't finish either. Thankfully the kung pao chicken with fried rice was good with appropriate seasoning. I doubt I will give this place a second chance as half the order ended up in the trash. read more

Still a favorite place for easy Chinese food. American style, not spicy nor greasy with big portions. Lunch specials are big enough for 2 or a very hungry teenage boy. Order take out or eat in house again post pandemic. Clean and comfortable. An old style family Chinese restaurant. Service is good and they will accommodate special requests. read more

Fresh cooked meals and easy parking (oversized lot)! Come here for a day or evening you want a stress free environment and you won't be disappointed. The lunch hour seems to be a little busier as they have lunch specials which you can find on the menu. This is my secondary visit and they have great sesame and cashew chicken (with veggies). The service is very quick and friendly. I can't wait to come here one evening to dine in as both visits have been takeout. Note: pricing is beyond reasonable and the portions are plentiful. Enjoy! read more

Listen. Cheap, decent food. Say less. You will get greeting. Your food will come out timely. It's not the greatest food but it also isn't the worst. Definitely a three star average restaurant in the best ways. read more

35+ year customer. Food is excellent and atmosphere is quiet. Family owned and great service.

Great little local family owned Chinese place. The donuts at the end are the best. Therese like mini donuts from the fair. Great dine in or take out place. read more

Amazing food! Great portions! Super fair pricing!!! Lunch and dinner specials are a great deal. Let me tell you about their fried rice, y'all. It resembles and tastes like something you actually want to eat! I've never before eaten fried rice that was worth paying for, except when I cooked it myself, which is a total hassle and mess. I go here JUST for their fried rice! read more

We were welcomed right when we walked in and seated immediately. We came around 12:30pm on New Years Eve and they definitely were busy for lunch. The staff were kind, friendly and quick to help. Our appetizers of fries and shrimp came quickly! When our main food dishes arrived I was so surprised on the portion size. We all took home leftovers. The noodles on the Lo Mein were so thin (something I have not seen before with lo mein). The fried rice seemed pretty basic like no sprouts, green onion, cilantro. Just looked like frozen veggies mix and small pieces of scrambled eggs. What I loved about this place was portion sizes with a great lunch special price. I also loved that you could choose white or fried rice for no upgrade cost and that the meal came with two wontons. read more

Pretty good food. Nice people. Its more expensive than I am used to. I order chicken fried rice.

The best fried rice and Vegetable egg foo young in town. Great service and great people

Amazing portions, tasty entrees and apps, such friendly customer service! While we waited for our TAKE OUT order, we were offered water, and were given a free app. We did order a large amount of food (enough for 7 adults) but when we got to our destination, they had included a free dessert...enough to share with everyone. Great service and happy they are in our residential neighborhood! read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants as is the food is amazing and they have huge portions so you can get more than one meal out of it, but I just wanted to write about how amazing they have been through this COVID process. They were closed for a little while but they opened back up to-go only but they have a plexus glass window to get your food through and they have adequate signs to state only one person in at a time, ect. I feel the most safe getting food from them and of course the food is always delicious. Some of our favorites are pork egg fo young, hunan chicken, veggie lo mein and the veggie egg rolls and wontons are the best here always a must get. I highly recommend them all the time but especially right now if you are looking for a place to trust during COVID concerns. read more

I come for the beef fried rice only. It's been my staple food for years and I only go where it's better than most. This place is always crowded though which means their fried rice isn't the only thing that's good here read more

Trying out this place for the first time. Will review it later. For carry out, just a bit of a wait, everything seems fresh to order. So, husband and I tried China Restaurant and was not impressed. The chicken fried rice and chicken lo mein was pretty bland, no taste. But the egg foo and egg rolls were very good. We're still on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant. read more

This Restaraunt charges you $4 to change a vegetable... I asked if I could have onion instead of broccoli and pea pods...both cost way more than onions thought it would be an easy no brainer sure...my pleasure...well no she said it will cost $4 more to add a cheaper vegetable and delete the two more expensive vegetables. Then I asked how much would it cost to substitute mock duck for chicken or pork which is cheaper than all animal proteins...she says $9.00 more ...seriously plus the amount they want to charge for a substitution. That would make $12.45 for the Mushu pork w/o pork plus $13.00 for the changes for a grand total of over $25.00 for Mushu and with only two measly pancakes....yikes !!! Won't be ordering here anytime soon....who pays over $25 dollars for attitude and vegetarian Mushu. read more

Whenever I need a Chinese food quick fix, this is the place I head to. I've been really pleased with China Restaurant either ordering out or staying in. Even during their peak hours, I've had plenty of time to eat and get back to the office. You get an immense amount of food for the low price you pay. My usuals are the Mongolian Beef or Beef with Broccoli. The combination plate is a great value as you get your main dish, plus your choice of rice, one egg roll, and two cheese wontons. I usually swap the wontons out for two egg rolls with no problem. The wontons are delicious, I'm just an egg roll addict. Friendly staff, good food. read more

Great Service, Good Chinese food, Reasonable prices. Went during lunchtime. You need to be hungry. Extensive menu to choose from.

I had their Moo Gu Kai Pan ladt year and loved. So i tried them again yesterday. Same order. I was disappointed as it was not the same as before, i.e., no Bok Choy, no mushrooms. Their cutting corners will having me seeking my favorite Chinese dish elsewhere in the future. I am sad because, the cook can clearly make excellent entrees, I will miss this place. read more

Good chow mien but order the smallest as portions are large. Take out recommend as restaurant is kinda a no frills at all place.

Food is bad. Ordered a mix of everything and came to $70 for my family. All the meat in everything we ordered tasted old and gross. Fried rice tasted like a dirty pan. With all the good reviews we wanted to like this place. read more

Placed a carry-out order and they were fast, friendly, and serve huge portions to reheat! Great Chinese food to order and eat from!

This is one of those times when I'm seriously torn on my rating. 2? 3? A very generous 4? The people here were very nice and the service was quick but the food was just OK. So I'm going with honesty and a Meh. High points: cream cheese wontons were outstanding, the tea was perfect and very hot and you really get a lot of food for the cost. The rest of the story: I ordered a sesame chicken combo extra spicy. The chicken is the dreaded mystery chicken parts that you usually get in the dishes like hot and spicy chicken. I generally expect sesame chicken to be more of the white meat variety. Further, it was not spicy at all and there was very little sauce. I was not impressed, especially given the fan fare from other reviewers. Did I hit the place on a bad night? Did I commit some sort of Chinese faux pas and paid the price? Was I expecting too much? Whatever the reason - I won't be back despite how great the other reviews are and how good the wontons were. read more

China Restaurant - Sesame combo dinner - it LOOKED great - Chinese Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

When you go to China Restaurant, tell Yang I sent you. She co-owns the restaurant with her husband, and they are two of the kindest people I have ever met. My sister Chris and her husband James are regulars at China Restaurant, where Yang calls them by name and remembers their favorite dishes. The portions are incredible, especially in light of the ultra-affordable prices. The cream cheese wontons are as good as any I have tasted in the Cities, and my sesame chicken was tasty - without any regrets after the meal. The fried rice was phenomenal - cooked to perfection and exploding with flavor. While the location - in a struggling strip mall in Roseville - makes for an uphill battle, they have seen business steadily rising, and they make the interior cozy. I highly recommend it!! read more
