Picture says it all. Their customer service matches their food quality. I called to find a resolution and they basically told me to F off.

This joint deserves a second rave review. If you love old school Oriental, then you'll love The Palace. For a full review and deets see my previous review... I had the Palace Fantasia again and it was absolutely mental. The shrimp was outta sight. I'm not a shrimp guy but these puppies were butterflied and tender AF and huge and could almost pass for lobster tails if you were buzzed enough. The veggies were kray kray as was the Yo-Yo/Goo-Goo sauce it came with. It was presented wicked pissah in a silver pladder with lid. Rice came with (no upcharge) and in a silver-lid pladder too. The entree has fried pork wontons included as well as chicken, pork and beef and all was actual real meat. A total bang for the buck here. Like only 15 bucks or so. My One, Moey, had a Lunch Special which was yumski. No problems there. The drinks are great here too and our waiter, Mark, was on point and was friendly as hell. I dig how they serve drinks in tiki mugs -old school. Plates and placemats are old school too. Great pride is taken here and it shows wicked big time. Anyhoot, 'nuff said. It's scrump and delish AF here. Cool place too! We enjoy hanging in place all time it has the Happy spot! Much many Big time to eat and the drink. Peep it out, bro.

The food was amazing actually some of the best Chinese food we ever had the drinks are to die for as well I'm a huge Grateful Dead fan but here the Scorpion bowl was definitely better everything in my pictures was under $50 the waitress there was extremely friendly and she does her job well :) seriously for the low staffing that woman should get a raise! I love China Palace Restaurant the food the drinks environment and employees!! Definitely going there another time.. FYI if you like hot mustard theirs has a sting to it!!

But our hostesses was very friendly and accommodating. We started with sushi appetizers with my wife choosing the avocado salmon roll and I picked the chefs sampler along with a cup of egg drop soup. All were excellent and the soup was maybe the best I've ever had! For our main dishes my wife picked cashew chicken and I picked red curry chicken at medium heat. Both were not quite up to the appetizers. Her dish was loaded with green peppers (not her favorite) and seemed short of cashews. My curry was very spicy (not really medium) but tasty. I had to add some duck sauce to calm it down to make it easier to handle. All in all we liked Easern Paradise we just have to find a quiet time to enjoy them again. And skip the curry!

One first thing is that everything appears to be ala carte in that if the item doesn't list the usual expected extra you won't get it unless you order it. Beef teriyaki was tasty but the beef strips are a bit undercooked (okay with me but some people might prefer more done). Chicken low mien tasty but could also have used more chicken. When the buffet isn't available during the day, I sometimes order off the menu, and the food always comes out hot and fresh--I've never had a complaint. My family and I have been coming here for years, visiting the buffet hundreds of times (pre COVID shut down) when it used to run day and night. While I believe the restaurant was better under the previous owner when it was always busy, the new owner is very caring, and the buffet is often excellent. That said, the quality can be inconsistent. If you go an hour or two after the buffet opens, the food can sometimes be lukewarm, soggy, or dried out. There have been times when I've even questioned whether certain items were fresh, or left over from the previous day and reheated. On one occasion, I even complained about a few items that were cold or tough, and to their credit, they made a fresh batch, which was fantastic. The biggest challenge with any buffet is that if food is prepared around 5 p.m., but there aren't many guests, it sits for a while and loses its freshness. Naturally, if you come in later, the quality won't be the same as when it was first put out. Despite this, I love Chinese food and appreciate the variety a buffet offers. Even if a couple of items aren't at their best, there are still plenty of delicious options to enjoy. If you ever come across something that isn't up to the usual standard, I recommend politely letting them know--they seem willing to bring out fresh items when asked. This restaurant is located in downtown Rochester, New Hampshire, and not the nicest of neighborhoods. Often times there are people hanging around the front or the parking lot who may or may not be homeless. I've even seen a a person or two that were clearly drunk before. (There is a separate bar attached to the restaurant. Inside the restaurant is very clean. The men's room is old, but usually tidy and clean. And the buffet is well-maintained keeping it clean and presentable. If you've never tried this restaurant, I recommend trying it on a busy night like Fridays. It's best to be there right around 4:30 or 5 PM to get the food as fresh as possible when it is first brought out to the buffet. As always, you can order off the menu and be assured that you will get fresh hot food.

The Dynasty. Since a female companion and I are fond of Polynesian / Chines Buffets, we decided to give the place a try one late afternoon, and were very pleased, and more so as stops there continued. This is a nice Local Spot, away from the Touristy type places, and is Comfortable and Cozy. I have now made this place a regular stop, three to four times a month. Have frequented various Chinese / Polynesian Buffet Restaurants throughout NH over the years and found the Dynasty buffet selections to be varied, tasty, good quality, reasonably priced, and the owners and staff very attentive, pleasant and friendly. Although there is also a menu to order from if one is not of mind for a buffet, we have always opted for the buffet, and never disappointed with the selection or the quality for the price. For those that indulge in what I like to refer to as " Attitude Adjusters ", there is also a full liquor license, but my favorite ( even if I stop-in alone ) is the Scorpion Bowl for... Two !!  : ), This is a Great Local Spot that I would recommend, and have often. The restaurant was not too busy on arrival, but then a steady stream of diners streamed in, as well as a brisk pace of take out orders. We had a friendly and efficient waiter, who helped explain the menu a bit as it was our first visit. The menu is pan-asian, but I thought leaned heavily into Japanese dishes. So many dumpling and Bao dishes, I was tempted to just have those, but also wanted to try a noodle dish. Xiao Long Bao and soup dumplings were delicious, and I absolutely want to return to work deeper into the dumplings here. For the noodle dish, we opted for Seafood Maloney, which was an assortment of seafood with glass noodles. This dish wasn't my favorite, had a fair amount of shrimp, but not much else, and wasn't a flavor that I loved. Next time, will try a more traditional noodle dish.
