Every time I get fried rice of any variety it's always super gross. They will charge you an extra 2$ for a 4 ounce container of duck sauce which I find ridiculous. Crab Rangoon are ok Chicken fingers are top notch Eggrolls are also top notch Typically order a pupu platter and everything is decent but it's a little pricey for what it is. I just went to Ping Garden for the first time last week and the food was spectacular. Will definitely be back. Everything was delicious.

Well, I won't make that mistake again! I ordered beef noodles, chicken wings and one egg roll to go. I was served a 3 ounce container of noodles. A container with 4 wings that old and dried out and an egg roll which tasted south if you know I mean. The worst part about it is that I was served by a kid who couldn't be more than ten years old. It cost me more than eighteen dollars. That means that the 3 ounce of noodles was around seven bucks The 4 wings was around seven bucks And the one eggroll was over four bucks. Being ripped off and a child fronting it is quite foul. They'll never get another penny from me. Horrible experience, just horrible! read more

I have had takeout a few times there; the dining area they have isn't really all that "appealing" in my opinion. They are fast & have never messed up any my orders. Local Chinese food, I've ordered twice so far for take-out both times. Affordable price and solid value for the combination plates for lunch and dinner. I've seen a variety of reviews for this place, and now being so close, I had to try it out. My tips? The combo plates are an awesome value and bang for your buck. I recommend the General Tso's Chicken and Beef & Broccoli. I also would advise against the pork fried rice option and choose the white rice option instead. Beef teriyaki may have not been my best of all time, but gets a passing grade! Portions were a good size allowing for leftovers to be happily consumed the next day :) I recommend this place, know what to expect - your solid expected Chinese food, an efficient take out staff who provides the food ready and hot for pick up when they promised. The rice was dried up and crunchy, the chicken fingers were chewy like they weren't cooked and the chicken Teriyaki was like beef jerky on a stick and thin as a piece of paper. I have only been there twice. The first time I didn't enjoy it and decided to try it again in case it was a bad night. I still didn't like it. The crab rangoons were too sweet and the wrap was too thick. I also didn't enjoy the lo mein--noodles too thick and not much taste. I think Chinese food is one of those foods were you need to find your favorite place and do not stray. Traditional 'chinese' menu, sincere young family operating it, about the best 'chinese' food for 40 miles (in my opinion, and I have tried 3 other 'chinese' restaurants in the area, I feel that I actually did my homework). I usually get take-out 'dinners' here, maybe 7 - 8 times a year, very reasonable price for the quality and quantity of food I got. Luncheon versions cost less (limited to certain hours), but same portions as dinners when I ordered my luncheon. Building is a turn of the century 'mill town' store, scarcely remodeled since maybe the 1930s, creaky floors and all. Minimal indoor seating, atmosphere isn't the best. Just don't let the building scare you - you are here for great food! My food always seemed to be made fresh. Great egg roll (crispy outside, moist, crisp veggies inside), sweet crab Rangoon, wonderful roast pork egg foo Yong (firm, packed with crisp veggies, moist but not runny), I love their curry chicken/curry beef (I order both), moist chicken fingers for their sweet and sour chicken, their General Gao's chicken is very flavorful and has the tiny hot peppers, they make flavorful Teriyaki chicken/beef. I hope you get the same experience! Note: Ping makes rather dark fried rice. This is a deciding point for me - I do not like that pale caramel colored stuff some places call fried rice. My wife often orders her fried rice WITH egg and no vegetables, but for Ping, fried rice doesn't normally come with egg ... uh-oh, gave myself away! read more

I was definitely disappointed. I love Chinese takeout and this just didn't do it for me. I ordered the appetizer platter with chicken fingers, crab rangoon, an egg roll and pork friend rice for 6 dollars and sixty something cents. Not too bad for a takeout lunch but I've seen cheaper lunch specials. The restaurant inside was out dated and dimly lit. There were small Asian kinckknacks for sale lined on one wall. I was excited to see about 5 people come in for their take out while I waited. So I assumed the food was going to be good. Got home, opened up the container and the first thing I noticed was that the appetizers were over fried. The rice was darker, which I like, but I took one bite and that's when it got truly disappointing. For me, the fried rice is the under dog of the dish and should be the best side dish a Chinese restaurant makes. The rice was dried out and did nothing for me. Duck sauce didn't mend the problem either. The crab rangoons were way over fried and were definitely crispy. The egg roll would have been perfect if it wasn't over fried but the chicken fingers we're good. Maybe I caught them on an off day. I've been a regular customer of Ping since it opened a number of years ago and have never been disappointed with the food or with how I've been treated. If ambiance and atmosphere are your "thing" then you should probably stay away. The building is ancient and outdated but don't let this scare you. The food may not be gourmet but it is VERY good, everything is fresh, the portions are huge, and the prices are more than fair! My favorites are the moo goo gai pan and the curry chicken. This place is Great, fast ,friendly and good food. Not to mention the prices are great. I use to only go to the one in Hooksett, it is closed now, but they had fantastic food, prices were obviously high there, but worth it. When it closed we were upset for my boyfriend and I did grow up with it and so with this place, ping garden we didn't know how the food was going to be, we ordered and have been relieved and impressed with their food ever since , its delicious. Not a lot of Chinese food restaurants near us now, this one is the best tasting food near/around town. There food does taste so much better then in Epsom.
