There are tons of Chinese food places around here is this is one of the best. I have always gotten take out never dined in so I can not comment on the buffet they offer. However I have always had a great meal from here and their food is not a greasy as most places. The egg rolls are amazing! read more

I was here with my husband who is a veteran and lost his nose. This woman was laughing to this other woman behind the counter in foreign language while looking directly at him. I just left right after this because I am not giving money to people like that! read more

Takeout. Great food! Best hot and sour soup I've had. Egg fu young house special with gravy was great and the General Sao's chicken and egg roll all top notch. Real hot mustard sauce and tasty sweet and sour sauce. Great place. Easy to order online. read more

this has been my go to Chinese but this week meal was awful. rice was dry. moo goo was sparse on portion and chicken.

Decent food. Not gonna blow your doors off, but better than average for Franklin. Don't go there expecting to be able to get a Mai tai because there's no bar. Pretty much just a take out place unless you feel like sitting in a dimly lit "dining room" read more

I tried the food from this restaurant for the first time as recommended by friends. I ordered basic takeout of Pork LoMien, Boneless Spare Ribs and Crab Rangoon. I will certainly return when I get the same craving in the future. I would have liked a little more meat and veggies in the Lo Mein but it was acceptable and better than others in the area. read more

Highest rated Chinese food place in the area so I gave it a shot. All items tasted great. The teriyaki beef was a little over cooked so it was a bit tough and the general's chicken was a little too crunchy. Neither of these issues were deal breakers. I would recommend and I will be back. read more

Yuen Sing Chinese Restaurant - General's Chicken combo with fried rice & an egg roll with a side ored of beef teriyaki. - Chinese Near Me - Tilton, New Hampshire

They are no longer a buffet. Too bad the site was never updated to state that. Haven't tried the food yet but waiting for order now. Very disappointed read more

Yuen Sing is tucked away in the corner of a strip plaza (Smitty's Cinema/Dollar Tree) near the Tilton/Franklin line, eat-in or takeout. I've stopped in here for Chinese food for dinner after shopping at the Dollar Tree or before seeing a movie at Smitty's, when I get beer and snacks only. The menu offerings are pretty standard, including 25 Lunch Specials ($4.49-$4.99) and 20 Combination Platters ($6.29-$7.29) offered. The portions are pretty good. This strip plaza eatery is an order at the counter (open kitchen) place with plenty of self serve seating and also offers a decent sized Chinese buffet, offering weekday lunch ($5.99), weekend lunch ($6.99) and the dinner buffet ($6.99) on Thursday-Saturday evenings. Though the times I've stopped here (on a Monday and Tuesday night), the buffet was not on. So, the Pork Lo Mein (C12) and Shrimp Chow Mein (C2) combos were the choices I've ordered off the menu. The food was decent and the egg rolls were tasty and wide stuffed with cabbage and ground pork. The service here was efficient and I was enjoying my food in no time. Overall 3.3 stars read more

Yuen Sing Chinese Restaurant - the front of the restaurant - Chinese Near Me - Tilton, New Hampshire

Food: Good! Matt and the family work hard to make sure everyone is happy. Service is good! Never had an issue. Great little family restaurant. Ambiance: Not really existent but not really needed either. They mostly do takeout. read more

After a year, we're back in the Tilton/Franklin area and we decided to get YuenSing for date night. We have never been disappointed before so we didn't think about anything about it this time. Yeah the prices have gone up a few dollars but that's with everything now a days. But the portions have almost been cut in half (well except for the rices which the to go foam container was mostly filled with. "Jipflation" isn't only evident at Chipotle, but here also. Our spicy cashew chicken was about five pieces of chicken and mostly carrots and celery. The pork lo mein was enough to fit in the small side of the container. Albeit the taste and quality was there, but with the price increase you would assume the quantities would be the same. Our two dinners and a side of spring rolls were $32. If it wasn't for date night I would have probably purchased the ingredients and made it myself for less. While sitting there for an additional 35 minutes after they said it would be ready in 30, I witnessed several people with orders over a $100 worth of food. It's just not going to be economical to dine out anymore and I see more and more restaurants, especially family owned, shutting their doors in the future. read more

This was a great option on NYE. We are from out of town and another local Chinese option wasn't answering the phone. We called at 12 and it was ready 25 minutes later. The food was really good, I would absolutely do take out again. read more

Yuen Sing Chinese Restaurant - Chicken Fingers , Chicken Fried Rice, lo mein - Chinese Near Me - Tilton, New Hampshire

They are our go to when we want a change. Found them by accident, our usual place was closed, and you know, when you want a specific chow... so we ordered... my favorite is their boneless bbq pork. They have the best crab Rangoon... so the rest of my family says... I'm not interested in that one... everyone else loves it! Whatever you get, pork egg rolls, fried rice, lo mein ... all good. Enjoy read more

We've been coming here for the past few years from Laconia. The food has always been excellent. We went yesterday and not only are the combination plates $4 more, and I get that, but the portions were smaller and the food tasteless. Why? Why would you charge more, give less, and skimp on the quality? We also saw Heinz ketchup in the kitchen. What are they using that for? read more

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst Chinese food places around. The chicken was very unpleasant.

Good price and yummy. Lo mien is the best. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in town.

my usual place is by far better but with major snow storm i decided to try this place got the chicken and cashew with egg roll. the chicken is hard and dry and rather large chunks and lacking much for veggies with it, the rice is fair and i never seen an egg roll this small! taste a bit on the burnt side. don't think i will be going back read more

First Chinese restaurant I've been to that deep fried the chicken for Kung Pau. Terrible!

Great place to eat. Take out is the only thing available. But hubby and I don't mind. We eat there alot. Great menu and prices. Very friendly read more

Really good Chinese food. Not much more to say. We ordered take out, it was ready quickly and everyone enjoyed it.

Ordered delivery at work and the food was good. I have no complaints about the food, it had good flavor, I feel like sometimes Chinese food can be a little bland. Only thing I found, which I think that all Chinese restaurants have an issue with is they say dishes are spicy but my chicken definitely wasn't. I enjoy spicy and this wasn't. I would definitely order here again if we do at work. Portions were good and it tasted good. read more

I went to Yuen Sing about a month ago and there are two things I remember about it: The worst dining room ambiance ever, and the best scallion pancake ever! I will go back, just for the SP!!! The fact that I cannot remember how all the other dishes were probably means they were not too memorable. However, I will go back, as mentioned above, and will update my review after the next trip! FIVE STARS FOR THE SCALLION PANCAKE! read more

I was again stunned that in small town New Hampshire that the Chinese food was so good. I enjoyed the food Egg Fu young, General Tso, Shrimp & Broccoli, Won Ton Soup , Fried Rice all great. The only item I was disappointed with was the bone in ribs. Tasted like beef jerky. Bon Apetite! read more

The best hot and sour soup in the lakes region. The soup is made fresh and it is hearty and filling The price is good and reasonable for all the food. Not to mention the friendly staff. The lunch buffet is small cheap and good as well. The trays are constantly being check and filled. read more

Worst food ever no flavor put it this way even my dog didn't eat it horrible waste of money

Go here for lunch frequently, as they have a buffet with plenty of choices, at a good price. Food is always hot, and buffet trays are kept full. Restaurant is clean and staff pleasant. Great place for a quick lunch! Highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for the best Chinese food in the area - this IS it. Seriously. I drive past three other local Chinese restaurants to get here instead. The food has a lot of flavor and you can see how clean the kitchen is from the dining area. I've never dined in, only picked up take out, and have never gotten to the restaurant and my food not been ready. I have a friend with MSG allergies and they can eat here no problem. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's delicious! read more

I ordered the chicken chow fun to go. It was very tasty and was full of flavor. It was a little runny and had a little broth in it, but I would prefer that any day to the oily nastiness many chinese food places try to serve. However, the portion was tiny. I ordered a large expecting something sizable but maybe got 12 oz of food. For $8 it was not at all worth it. read more

It was....ok. the dining room definitely need to be updated... the food was ok. I have had better at home.

This place used to be the place to go for good Chinese Food. The food now is less than average. The buffet was poorly stocked. I had be twice over a 3 week period and many tables had not and were not cleared and cleaned during the whole time we were there. I went to the counter to get a container to take my leftovers home and was ignored for several minutes along with 4-5 others that were waiting to order. Won't go back. read more

If I ciuld give this restaurant a 0 star rating then I would. We just came from trying to eat at this restaurant. My husband and I have lived in the area for a few years. We have heard what seems like nothing but good about this restaurant, so today was the day to try it. We walked in and were surprised that there was a "buffet" in such a small restaurant. There were 4 people total sitting down and eating when we walked in. There were dirty dishes on EVERY OTHER TABLE! There was not even a clean table for us to sit at! SAD!!! The food on the buffet looked dried out. We stood at the counter hoping to just order something to take out. Someone was in the back in view of the register area and never once came to see what we needed. What a waste of time. If this is what their customer service is like, I would rather eat elsewhere, no matter how good other people say that the food is! What a let down! read more
