Good was ok. Duck sauce was thick and kind of gave me the ick. Saturday afternoon and was empty. Drinks were good. Pupu was good.

Service was great waiter was so kind, place was clean it was a little pricey but for the portions of food you get i wasn't mad about the price at all. I went with family on mother's day and i got sweet and sour chicken It came tossed in this red sauce and a side of white rice and a meal that had pork fried rice ribs chicken fingers and chicken teriyaki. chicken teriyaki was a beautiful size all the other places i have been to give you a sliver of meat this was a nice chunk cooked just right. read more

Best egg foo young chicken teriyaki on a steak and House fried rice that I've ever had

Did a takeout order was very impressed by how clean the restaurant was and friendly the staff was. Food was very good New England style Chinese and I will definitely return and recommend. read more

I stopped at May Garden very recently for dinner takeout, which is located just north of the main drag near the fire station. The full service dining room and bar has a clean and casual atmosphere with ample table seating, new tile floors, piano, and decor including lighted pictures on the walls. I ordered Combination C ($6.80 plus tax): Teriyaki Beef, Fried Shrimp, and Pork Fried Rice to go, which was ready in under 10 minutes. As for the food, the beef teriyaki sticks (2 of them) were pretty good, thick & tender marinated beef. However, I was very disappointed by the very modest portion of food for the price. Other Chinese restaurants I've been to in this area give you more tasty food for the money. The fried shrimp was mostly batter and really only two regular sized shrimp cut in halves to make the pieces look bigger. The pork fried rice (tan color) with pork cubes and onion had a very firm and grainy texture. I prefer rice that has a soft and light texture. I probably would not return here since there are plenty of options for decent Chinese food offering better value in the area. read more

This is my preferred Chinese restaurant. I visit weekly and the service, quality, and cleanliness are all excellent.

This is the Worse Chinese Food I have had in Years. The Quality was poor and for the price, it wasn't worth it. I will not be going back, learned my lesson here. I have been there before but was a few years ago. They must of changed Management as it wasn't this bad previously. If you are looking for good authectic chinese food, this is Not the place to go. And it is way overpriced for what you get. I Do Not Recommend read more

Worst beef lo mein ever. It was creamy and had very little beef and veggies, it was all noodle and liquid.

The food is very greasy and disgusting. It is very unclean. I have no idea how they have been around for so long. But I wont go near this place again. read more

May Garden is the best Chinese around. The crab Rangoon is the best and super flavorful! Usually, I will order the letter A, which is pork fried rice, chicken fingers, and teriyaki meat. The meat is juicy, with lots of love put into it. the chicken is nice and flavorful, while the fried rice is to die for. The service, while not that great, is still good! The duck sauce is also good. The location sucks, but going down the ghetto also known as Bow Street, is worth it for some May Garden. I would recommend May Garden to everyone reading this! And if you are reading this, I already ordered you a letter A and crab Rangoon and it will be ready in 15 minutes! read more

Absolutely horrible food , tasteless , cold . Have no idea how this place stays open. Almost sure it came out of frozen Dept from grocery store. read more

May Garden - Yum! My favorite! - Chinese Near Me - Franklin, New Hampshire

WHAT HAPPENED TO MAY GARDEN!! I used to go here pre pandemic at it was awesome. The beef Hawaiian was the best Chinese dish I ever had. This time I the flavor was bland and I received no white rice. They must have changed the crab Rangoon, it was more like a cream cheese mayo blend. No kind of any crab flavor at all. The spare ribs were the best thing and they were dry with no flavor. The worst were the egg rolls. I don't know what red cabbage crap it was, but they went right in the trash. If I could give no stars I would. read more

I can't believe how good the food was yesterday! I always order sweet and sour chicken when we get Chinese. This was my first trip to May Garden and I have to say that this was the best S&S chicken I have ever had. The House Lo Mein and pork fried rice was awesome as well. The waitress was polite and efficient. I really enjoyed my visit and my food! read more

Place is under new management and really sucks. The food it absolutely horrible we ordered multiple items and each one was not good. Lo mein was inedible and the containers were sticky all over and On top of it it was 40 dollars barely enough for 2 people to eat. Not worth it we are disappointed. read more

I stopped in here with a coworker after doing some work in the area. Neither of us are familiar with the area, but we wanted something nearby and quick for lunch before a long drive back to the office. At first glance, the building was very small and unassuming...with only a couple cars in the lot, we weren't sure if they were open! Once inside though, the restaurant is very welcoming and clean. We were served promptly and the waitress was very friendly. I ordered egg drop soup and veggie lo mein. I have to say, I wasn't a super huge fan of the egg drop soup...I just like the basic broth with a few mushroom slices. This one had more of a diluted broth with chunks of chicken or pork. I'm sure it's very good, it just didn't appeal to me! The veggie lo mein, however, was some of the best I ever had. It was served piping hot with crunchy vegetables, and the SAUCE was amazing! Very flavorful! I was excited to eat the rest for dinner that night! Definitely recommend if you're in the area, just know what you're getting with the egg drop soup! read more

This is my favorite place to get chinese food in NH and beyond. Worth driving out of my way to order from here.

Very good food I always asked me to put the heat 2 what I order if there's a sauce and supposed to be spicy Szechuan and they make it real good and spicy probably more than what most normal people would like service is always good they're very friendly environment read more

Don't order anything that says beef teriyaki, they give chicken instead in your order, when I called and asked why they said because beef is too expensive to buy. I am not sure how this is acceptable without making the change to the paper menus and their website posting which they deny having. Very dishonest owner. read more

This is by far my favorite place for Chinese food. Always greeted with a smile and delicious food!

This place had been closed for a while and I had never tried it until it reopened. I must say, I was not impressed. There were four of us in our party and we all got various parts of our meals at various times. All appetizers should have come out, then the soups and the main course. Food quality and quantity was poor, tea was (p) warm, service was poor and I left feeling cheated. read more

This place is the best of the best. I have been dealing with this family for over 20 years. They are friendly, the place is clean. I can tell you that there is plenty of food to eat. I usually do take-out. always order an A and B as well as a couple of sides for the family. There is usually food left over for the next day. I will continue to partake or their wounderful food as long as they are around. read more

The absolute worst food I have ever had. I ordered the pu pu platter and it was horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to a person I hated read more

We go to Mae Gardens as it is clean & the service is always good . We order tea & it is always hot & when I order a mixed drink the bartender goes to the limit to make it the best ! We always order crab Rangoon & A1's which are always excellent & more than enough food served ! It's a nice quiet atmosphere even when there are people @ the bar . This is one our favorite Chinese restaurants . We love this place !!! read more

Have been going here for many, many years. Food is always good, and portion sizes are plentiful. We usually do take out, and order is always ready when they say it will be. We also eat at the restaurant occasionally, and food has always been good... appetizers brought out promptly, and our meals always come out at the same time. Restaurant is clean, modern, and casual. Servers are polite and friendly. Prices and portions are good. Would highly recommend! read more

Terrible terrible. Ordered a side of chicken wings-container was literally half full. Chicken wings were SO small, with hardly any meat on them. They were overbreaded and mushy. Ordered a C4 combination dinner-there was honestly a single scoop of rice. I'd say, maybe 4 tablespoons? It was so dry. The crab Rangoon's had zero crab meat. I mean zero. Took one apart even to make sure-they were solid cream cheese. I could have spread it on my bagel for breakfast. The teriyaki beef skewer was broken apart and splintering and they skewered the meat anyways, which was so thin a toothpick could have been used. It was also dry and hard. They also didn't include any duck sauce, or soy sauce. The container was poorly packaged and it leaked all inside my car. I will never waste time or money on this place again. I suggest you don't either. I am not one to write reviews, but this place was so awful I don't want anyone else to experience this. read more

I do NOT know where IAN the other review ate at, but the May Gardens portions are large and awesome, and the food is the best around. FAIL Ian!.. read more

The food sucks, they SMOKE in the kitchen while cooking, her kids are allowed to run around the restaurant and steal money and bother the customers since nobody is watching them. Stay far away from the food. If I could rate it -5 stars, I would! I have been here more than once and I've never seen any improvements. We can only hope that the health department steps in soon. read more
