    Wonton Soup
    Connery C.

Updated my previous review to clarify some things. Decided to go here while me and a friend were waiting for Grandma on Vacation. When we entered, the hostess was very friendly. The server, however, was rude and condescending. It seemed she was stressed or overworked or something. She was a get in and get out kind of person, and it showed. Drinks were from a can meaning no refills. But I felt they were a bit overpriced compared to other restaurants that offered the same can of soda for less. For the meals, we both ordered a sweet and sour chicken and a wonton soup. Wonton Soup came out about 5 minutes after we order and was pretty good. Like the dumpling and meat combo and the broth was tasty. Sweet and sour chicken came out surprisingly quick and wasn't as good. The sauce overpowered the chicken in a bad way and didn't taste very good compared to other sweet and sour chicken meals I've had. Overall, very disappointing for the $40 I was charged for everything, and the experience was dreadful due to the server's rudeness and mixed quality in the food. It's a shame. :(

The seafood island has not enough seafood for the price. The crab ragoons all full of only cream cheese

Been with broccoli Poured from take out container into bowl

Went to china garden in Belmont for dinner, spend $65 on food and get a nasty bone and cartilage knuckle in my beef and broccoli that looks in no way like it came from a cow or bull. Called to complain and ask for a credit since I can't eat this and made me sick to my stomach and I get no apologies or offer to make it right,, they tell me to bring the bone back so the cook can see it!!!! Are you serious. Never will we eat there again and I don't recommend anyone else does either. This cartilage knuckle looks like it came from a cat if I'm being honest.

The pu pu platter is amazing! I stop in every time I'm in town and have never been disappointed. You will not regret coming here.

In short, this is my "go to" Chinese restaurant, mainly because their "Lunch and Dinner Specials," which are always available, give me everything I want: Egg Roll, Rice, and Main item, plus fortune cookie, for a reasonable price. I usually get Szechuan Chicken or Chow Mein, but also order Pork or Chicken Lo Mein either as stand alone or as a substitute for the rice in the order (slight upcharge). The Egg Roll, as noted by other reviewers, is large and excellent, as is the pork fried rice that comes with most dishes. I often substitute white rice, which is also great. Only once in those 15 years did I get something that wasn't 5-stars: Sesame chicken. It was just a bit too sweet and came as golfball-sized chicken nuggets. Guess you can always find something to complain about. But overall, I drive 30 minutes and pass by three other chinese places to get to Million Dragon, and never go anywhere else unless I want to sit down (they have a few ables, but no one seems to eat there) and be waited on (then Green Ginger fits the bill). I highly recommend you give them a try.

Seriously, unless you've been living under a rock in New Hampshire, blissfully unaware of the world beyond Hampton Beach, you might think this establishment is a hidden treasure. Spoiler alert: it's not. It's a dump! Do yourself a favor and steer clear! **Atmosphere/Cleanliness:** Picture this--walking into Shanghai and feeling like you've just stepped onto the set of a horror movie. The carpets are so dirty they could qualify for their own reality show, and the walls look like they've been auditioning for a grime-themed art exhibit. The stains on the carpet? Those are just the remnants of long-forgotten furniture. And don't even get me started on the restroom! The urinal was a charming shade of yellowish-brown that I can only assume was a tribute to the local wildlife. If the front of the house looks like this, I can only imagine the back--probably a scene straight out of a dystopian novel about a third-world country. **Service:** Now, let's chat about the service, or as I like to call it, the "Please Don't Make Me Cry" experience at Shanghai. I took a seat at the bar, ordered a drink, and it arrived faster than my hopes and dreams shattered upon seeing the decor. But when I tried to order food, I was informed the computer was down. Really? Are we in the Stone Age? You can't write my order down and run it to the kitchen? It's called taking an order, not launching a SpaceX mission! **Food/Drink:** The one drink I had was decent, but I was so turned off by the dumpster fire surrounding me that I lost my appetite faster than a kid who finds out broccoli is on the menu. I was tempted to order food based on this "great" reputation I'd heard about Shanghai, but honestly, I think the universe did me a solid by preventing me from subjecting myself to whatever culinary catastrophe was lurking in that kitchen. For those of us true New Englanders who know better about our Chinese food, this place is an affront to the taste buds. **Cost:** I paid about $10 for my drink, which is fair if you're in the mood to be mildly disappointed. **Will I be back?** Oh, hell no! Shanghai should be shut down and condemned. I'd be mortified to admit I even stepped foot in here, let alone work here. Maybe it's a paradise for the low-class granite staters who think Canobie Lake is on par with Disney World, but for those of us who've experienced the culinary wonders beyond our borders, this place is an embarrassment. Avoid it like the plague!

Kung pao chicken, beef and broccoli, a few others. They are all solid and generous. That is why this place keeps ending up in our rotation when we are in Tilton around lunchtime. That said, the ginger stir fried chicken with green beans stands above the rest. It is easily my favorite thing on the menu and the one I come back to most often. They do not treat ginger like a background note here. You get real, chunky pieces mixed throughout the dish, giving it a sharp warmth that cuts through the sauce. The chicken stays tender, the green beans still have some snap, and the whole thing avoids that overly sweet. The hot and sour soup is also worth ordering. It has a nice tang and a little heat. I still have not tried the beef teriyaki, but it keeps catching my eye when plates pass by, glossy and piled high. Service is great, friendly and efficient. For the price and consistency, it is hard to complain.
