My usual Chinese delivery location is closed on Sundays and I really did not want to cook and was not in the mood for the quick burger or fried chicken. So we opted to give China One a chance. Big mistake. We would have been happier eating sandwiches for dinner. Spring rolls (or were they egg rolls?) tasted like the frozen egg rolls you buy in the grocery store, down to the spice flavoring in the stuffing and the gummy texture on the inside of the wrap. Egg foo young was pretty flavorless. The sauce on the Beef and Broccoli was thick and oily. And worse of all, they completely forgot the sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken! As I unpacked our bag and found the sauce missing I immediately called to let them know. Even though the website says they closed at ten (it was only 9:15) they claimed the kitchen was closed now and they would not bring my sauce. They offered a partial credit for it (cause they wouldn't be getting the chicken back). No apologies, no attempt to fix it. Have you ever tried to eat sweet and sour chicken (that was dry from over frying anyway) without the sauce? Sorry, even if the food had been better, customer service is a total FAIL! read more

the staff is nice but the quality is as cheap as it gets. cheapest ingredients with max profit! this is another run of the mill Chinese take out that isn't the cleanest place but the people around the area which is kinda ghetto love it...I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! the canned Dr.Peppers are great!!!! read more

Ordered our usual today, Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken and Broccoli, Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Wings with rice, egg roll, and fortune cookie. This was the absolute best take out I have had. They have refined their recipes and the food is dine in restaurant quality. We have been ordering from Chine One since 2008 and this was the best meal ever. read more

They have really good food. You have to look past the fact that it doesnt look like other chinese food places. They are very accommodating to changes and you cant beat the prices. They also give you a free eggroll with every order. Everyone loves free stuff. read more

The food is ok but on 2 consecutive times when ordering to be delivered and paying via debt card, I noticed they charged me more than I signed for. The first time it was by $5.00 and when I called them to discuss they said that a manager would need to talk to me. They took my phone number and I never got a call back. The second time they over charged again by $1.00 after giving the driver a generous tip. I called again and they person on the phone told me they did not. I will never order food from them again as they are doing criminal acts with my money! read more

I have previously ordered from here before for delivery. Twice to be exact. For my third time I place my order and they say it was going to be 45 mins. I call 1 hour later to see what's going on. And they tell me they don't deliver to the mall (where I work) so I let them Know that I've ordered from here and they have delivered with no problems or questions asked (we are 5 mins away from this place) I get to speak to 3 rude ass men telling me I'm lying because they have never delivered here and they don't deliver here. They gave me an option to wait another 25-45 mins or a refund. So I ask for a refund. And the man said "ok" and flat out hung up on me. Yeah, you're right... Terry must have the wrong China One. I live pretty close to this place and I've never been disappointed. I usually go for the sesame chicken. I get a huge serving and split it with the b/f. It's somewhere around $7.00 for a big ass to go order. You should try it! :D read more

Ordered sweet and sour chicken - they forgot the sauce - the chicken breading was gummy and tasteless, Egg foo Young (seemed like it was made with egg whites or thinned plaster mixed with skimmed milk) - Beef and Broccoli... no comment... hot and sour soup... was actually edible. Me & hubby loved coming here for the first few times, price is great & they give you alot of food! BUUUUTTT, the last few times we went my orange(more like red lol) chicken was hard & very gummy, couldn't even eat it. I thought maybe since we came in later in the day(early evening) that they were giving me the old chicken they had left over. I gave them another chance & the same thing happened, hard or gummy chicken, no big juicy chunks like they always used to give me no matter what time of day I would come in. I love their food. But hate calling in an order. It is the worst. The phone is always busy, I have to call back about 6 times before I get in touch with someone. And they always put me on hold, sometimes I'm on hold for above 5 mins and get hung up on. I hate calling this place, but my husband love the food. The food is pretty good. read more

Delivery time was estimated at 50 min-1hr, knock on the door at 48 minutes. Awesome. Now the food - egg rolls were from Sam's Club. Pot stickers were the fattiest, lardiest dumplings I've ever eaten. Wife and I ate a combined total of one out of an order of six. General Tso's chicken was bright red and had a sweet flavor. It tasted okay, but it wasn't General Tso's chicken. The food wasn't bad enough to throw away, but not good enough to order from again. Too bad! The search for a Chinese place in S. Arlington that has decent delivery, even if you order after 7:30 continues. Overall - two stars. read more

I tried China One for the first time this week. The beef with broccoli was very good. The meat is tender, the broccoli crisp and the rich brown sauce is just enough and not overly-seasoned. The hot and sour soup was also very good. The broth base is flavorful, not too spicy hot. My only suggestion would be the addition of some tofu, slivers of pork, and possibly mushrooms. The lo mein is meh. Perhaps it was an off day for that, but the lo mein was just a wad of over-cooked noodles with a bit of a brown sauce, without the perhaps saving grace of a few veggies. We eat from here often, about once every 2 weeks for the last 8 years. It is a small family run take out and delivery place - it is definitely a "hole in the wall". Price is very reasonable. Lunch menu is nice and very inexpensive. Regular menu has lots of options. The Large soups are big and inexpensive and taste good (probably gives about 5 bowls at a sit down place for $2.10). The Chicken Sticks (appetizer) are awesome - my favorite. Their beef to me is a little chewy so I avoid those dishes, but my wife loves the Mu Shu Beef. My daughter likes the Cashew Chicken and my son loves the Shrimp Fried Rice. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is good but my favorite entree is the Chicken with Hot Garlic Sauce - very hot and filled with loads of vegetables and very good. The regular meals are big enough to feed 2 and we will sometimes get 3 Moo Goo Gai Pan to feed 7 people and have some left over (and I am not talking about little kids). My wife and daughter always eat half and save the rest for lunch in a couple days. They always say delivery in 45 minutes and I usually get it in 30. If you are looking for an inexpensive and quick Chinese take out place - I highly recommend this one. read more
