Amazing people and food is delicious but sometimes they may have a mishap but they will fix it if you ask them nicely

i'm not the type to write negative reviews unless it affected me physically, but I would just like to make an awareness to this!! this has been one of the best Chinese places I've gone to, I would say I've gone at least 2-3 times. now they do typically take a long time to bring the food out, but the food has always been good. However, I ordered the sesame chicken and a side of lo mein last night, about three hours after eating it, I was insanely sick. running a fever, throwing up, couldn't keep anything down the whole next day. i'm still recovering and that was brutal all of my symptoms have led me to believe that I had food poisoning as I've had it before, and it displayed the same way except this time was definitely worse. I just wanted to bring those to y'all's attention if you're looking at going here that it might be a possibility lol! read more

Disappointed brought some chicken wing and its taste like burn and old oil and not flavorful like China express and oriental express. Brought my husband the spicy beef and it's taste bland and come with white rice. The lo mein was good but very small portion. read more

My Chinese food box was crushed and they gave me all burnt chicken on a stick and I called in at 2:43pm before lunch was over and was still charged a higher price! We eat from here all the time and I always ask for no onions in the fried rice but they still put them in there some times like they did today. read more

China Moon is the go to place for great Asian food. I have not found anything they have that is not great. Prices are reasonable and I can give them a call and it will be ready by the time I get there. read more

I wanted to write a fast review as to the last meal I got here. I ordered Chicken Lo Mein which was very good, but had a shrimp in it. I know a lot of people out there are highly allergic to shellfish. Like I said, the meal was good, but if you have allergies I would avoid this restaurant. read more

Whats with the chicken and vegetables being orange?? The vegetables were raw, and not cut up fine and thin. The lomein noodles were starchy. Crab Rangoon terrible. The soup tasted yuck. A waste of money. Cant find good Chinese food in hickory. read more

Let me start by saying I have never graced this actual brick and mortar with my presence but I will say we use their delivery option on a fairly regular basis. The food here is better than most you will find in the area and they deliver! That's almost enough said considering your only options for delivery in this area are garbage, however, I've eaten Chinese food from here to California and back and I actually enjoy this food, especially for the price! Shrimp toast is awesome! Shrimp rolls are also fantastic, if you're unsure try the poo poo platter, lots to sample and enjoy. read more

I've been going to China Moon for years. They're nice and my order is always ready with hardly a wait. I live on the other side of town now surrounded by Chinese places but I'll drive the extra time across town to get the best shrimp and broccoli combo; it's conveniently on the same road as Shells BBQ because slushes are great with Chinese. read more

We've been big fans of China Moon for years. Their Hot and Sour soup may be the best I've ever had. Singapore Noodles (extra spicy) and steamed dumplings make up the rest of my standard order. We've also had their Shrimp Lo Mein, Shrimp Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken and several other dishes. Always good, hot, large portions with very reasonable prices. The interior is clean and brightly lit but not fancy. The owners are very friendly. That combination of good people and good food make China Moon a must-try when you're in the mood for Chinese. read more

There will NOT be another visit. First, and Last all in 1 shot. Its not at all what Chinese food should be the Egg foo young is good there is an ample amount but what ever that vinegar based sauce they make is HORRID... the DOGS would not eat it.. they sniffed and backed up and sat own. I ordered Pork dumplings and the skins are so thick and gummy. The tiny morsel of pork inside is OVER SEASONED to the extreme with chines 5 spice.They were pan fried to black on the underside. However, the Dogs enjoyed those very much, No dipping sauce though. They Did not approve of that sauce either. My husband ordered what was supposed to be Sesame chicken and While there was a LOT of it , It to had no sauce to speak of , he commented it tasted highly of soy sauce (SALT) and Vinegar. The chicken tasted like it came out of a bag from the grocery store. Their version of fried rice taste like the Japanese style rice. Which was the best thing about this $23.49 meal in which we ate rice and Some of the chicken HOWEVER the dogs got the remainder. I Love my Jeffery, George, Tootsie and Tallulah very much.. But for Me and the hubby to have some fried rice and a little chicken, and 1 egg foo young patty dry.. and the Dogs consuming the rest at what amounts to nearly $6 a portion it won't happen a second time.. If it were possible I would give it a negative star. I have no idea who the people are that think this is fantastic but we found it PUTRID and No we are not picky eaters the food was Horrible. read more
