This has been our favorite and regular place to pick up chinese take out. The food is consistent and you can customize your food. You want food spicier, ask for it, you want softer broccoli, less oil, more sauce, just all i ask. They've been able to accommodate all my requests. Our family favorite is chicken and broccoli. Other great items are the bbq ribs, buddhist delight, lo mein, moo shu chicken, chicken wings, wonton and hot and sour soup. Can you tell we take out from here a lot? The owners are super friendly and always remember me and my kids. Even during covid, she asks after them and tosses them fortune cookies. Some nights they are super busy, but they are always upfront about the delay and are a great local business. Lunch specials are fantastic and a great way to try everything on the menu at a great price.

House Special: Sesame Chicken w/white Rice

Quick and pleasant service. I ordered Sesame Chicken with white rice and it was a good. Also, ordered an egg roll (which was good) but ate before taking a picture! I'm planning to try more choices in the future.

Chicken and broccoli

Ordered for the first time we had the following: BBQ spare ribs... they were average Pork fried dumplings... they were good Pepper steak with two dollars extra beef ...NO Flavor... I'm not sure how this could be but there was no flavor to this dish very bland. Chicken and broccoli...NO flavor at all very very bland.. We finished the dumplings and the spareribs but ended up throwing out the main entrées. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews... definitely will not be ordering takeout here again.

Pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant inside my hotel (the Marriott Residence Inn)…read morewas actually a solid dim sum spot! I stopped by around 1:30-2pm on a Sunday and was seated immediately with no wait. Service was quick and efficient throughout the meal. I also liked that each table had a QR code so you can either order online yourself or through the server. Having both options is very convenient and presumably a major time-saver during their busier periods. The food came out promptly, and as always with dim sum, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. I completely overordered, but honestly, no regrets because the leftovers made a great dinner later that night. A highlight for me was that they offered sweet silken tofu, which can surprisingly be hard to find. The tofu itself was silky and satisfying, though I personally wish the syrup had been just a touch sweeter, however, the ginger flavor came through wonderfully. It was also served closer to room temperature, which caught me off guard since I was expecting it chilled, but that may just come down to personal preference. Favorites from the meal: * Stuffed Eggplant -- very tasty * Shrimp Noodle Crepes -- one of my go-to dim sum dishes, so I was thrilled to see it on the menu * Salt & Pepper Squid -- definitely recommend; great flavor Overall, a really enjoyable and convenient dim sum experience, especially for a restaurant tucked inside a hotel lobby. I'd happily return the next time I'm in town for a meeting.

Aberdeen was the first restaurant I tried after moving to Westchester, and it set the bar high…read more From the tea to the atmosphere, it instantly reminded me of my trip to Hong Kong--comforting, authentic, and elevated. I ordered the shrimp rolls, meatless turnip cake, hot & sour soup, veggie dumplings, chive dumplings, and (very ambitiously) General Tso's chicken. Every dish was delicious, but the chive dumplings were the standout--perfect texture, fresh flavor, and not heavy at all. I could've easily ordered more. The hot & sour soup was comforting, and everything felt well-balanced rather than greasy. I was too full to fully enjoy the General Tso's, but even a few bites were great. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they validate parking (I thought it would be free, but it ended up being a reduced rate, which is still a great perk).

It is difficult to write a poor review on an establishment and I don't take it lightly, but it is…read moreimportant that I am honest. My parents live in a neighboring town and have been coming here and/or getting takeout since they opened up many many years ago. Seven Woks has been one of the staples of the Golden Horseshoe Shopping Center and one of the originals that have survived in that location. My family and I live out of town and when we visit my father, he still wants to get Chinese food from here. Over the past several weeks, we did take out on two occasions. My 92 year old father appears to be still a fan of this establishment but in reality, my family and I have had much better Chinese food at just about everywhere else. Our two trips included having the egg rolls, steamed vegetable dumplings, chicken chow fun, pork lo mein, vegetable lo mein, and chicken and broccoli. The egg rolls appeared to be smaller than other egg rolls from similar restaurants. The steamed dumplings had a thick consistency, like playdough, and had little filling. Usually, we are used to thin skin on the dumplings and lots of filling. We can sum up all the other dishes in one word. BLAND. No taste, no seasoning, and just disappointing. From now on, we will convince my father to try another ethnic food when we are in town or I will cook for him. Our orders were always ready on time and the staff was always pleasant when we picked up. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall.
