I Have been charged twice for my tip even after I had left a ten dollar cash tip snd it was just me eating. They are greedy

3 children, 3 adults for $75. We hadn't even gotten all up from table when the waitress started saying over and over "no tip" loudly. We tip in cash but she made a scene and had people in the restaurant looking. Not only that but I had Google translate on and my phone translated what they were saying in their language... very rude and disrespectful. We hadn't even all got up from the table!! She still got tipped in cash but I want everyone to know if they can't see the tip the waitress will cause a scene!! Oh and the honey "chicken" was dark brown inside !! Did not look like "chicken " meat. Do better! Google translate will let everyone know what they say standing right beside you! It was a good meal with family but the waitress will NOT be tipped next time they demand it that way. They keep acting like that we will not be back!!! read more

Ok where to start!!! Horrible food, they look over your shoulders like you are stealing the food, the smell of the place is strange, and they will tell you to tip if no tip has been wrote on ticket. My tip for them was cook better and maybe ask if I need a refill when glass is empty. I mean you been following everyone around watching what they are stealing. Why not see a glass empty. Nope. Paid full price for a Buffet at 8:20 pm. Closing time is 9:00 pm. No rolls, almost no desserts, out of multiple choices on multiple bars. Was given the wrong drink and waitress never came back. Started mopping and pulling the buffet down before 9:00 pm. To top it off, we both got very sick afterwards. read more

6pm me and my husband went to eat there and first off the smell it was like dirty mop water. The place has went so downhill. Me and my family will NOT be back. where do I even start?? half of the options as normal were not available, the stuff that was tasted like an old lady's house smells. didnt even finish my first plate and the lady was bringing our ticket rushing us. I said I will get my money in a minute as we literally just started and the had 2 hours until close so don't see why we had to do it right that minute. she insisted. I only had a $100 bill so I said I will leave a tip on the table after she wouldn't stop asking. firstly that's rude. second I'm a decent person so I was already planning to leave one but have never had someone demand that I do. she came back with my change and stood there asking where the tip was. I said I will leave it on the table, even after everyone else at the table told me she didn't even deserve anything for the way she acted toward us. I've had better Chinese food and I've had much worse. I found plenty of options for a reasonably healthy and tasty meal. I was not fond of the sushi and was a bit surprised to find white bread, American style, slathered in oily cheese (tasty, but very fattening and not very Chinese). I suppose that is a local favorite. I tried a bit of several entrees and was not disappointed. Staff was attentive and helpful even though they seemed a bit overworked from the noon time crowd. With most other restaurants in the area serving too much fried food and too few vegetables, I was happy to find this place. If I'm in the area, I will likely go back. read more

Every person living in Batesville and their out-of-town relatives must have been to China King in the past year. Why am I saying this? The place is packed with people every single day; the crowd gets worse at lunchtime on Sundays when churches "let out" their congregations. Food is extremely fresh because of the turnover and the staff will do their job without getting in your way. It's a good thing because if you have had the chance to see some of the glazed over, crazed look in the eyes of some patrons as they approach the buffet, you'd stay out of the way too. It's been a few years since I've eaten here. I'll explain why here in a minute. When they first opened up the food was great but later the quality was only so so. They had some new foods I had never had at a Chinese Buffett and the hot wings are really good. The reason I don't eat there is because they forced me to pay for my brother and his families drinks. I was the last to pay out of the group and I don't buy soda for my kiddos. The lady at check out held me hostage at the door because she forgot to charge my brothers family for their sodas. This is the second time I've had an altercation with this lady. Another was with a group from my work. We were at completely separate tables and all had different checks. She forgot to charge one groups drinks and expected us to pay. That's insanely idiotic. Who would want to eat there after that? read more
