It took a little time for Uber Eats delivery but everything came in hot and fresh. The fried rice had a hint of wok hei but not too strong. The star of the show was the Mongolian beef. Tender pieces of beef with green onion & white onions in a savory sweet sauce, also with a hint of wok hei. Yeah that will be the go to. Came with side of white rice. Was not full. 3/4 full. Weird. Overall, a decent Chinese restaurant to try. Maybe next time we will have sit down experience. We'll see. 3.9/5 Sorry no pics this time. Hangry and devoured the food before pics were taken.

I ordered a kung Pao chicken lunch combo, food arrived quickly, but I was certainly not impressed by any of it, and I eat a lot of Asian food at some very highly respected and reviewed restaurants . For me the food missed the mark - I did not like the hot and sour soup, balance was off and it was missing the depth of flavor that is to be expected. Kung Pao chicken - just mediocre in every respect. Flavor was muddied like some places do with a generic "brown" sauce. So unfortunate, I'm honestly not sure how this place has been here so long. I don't anticipate giving this place another try.

We had ordered the fried buns but they brought the fried mochi instead. We informed our server they brought the wrong item but he insisted that these were the friend buns. I was a bit annoyed the server didn't own up to their mistake and tried to claim the mochi were the buns (when it clearly wasn't). My guess is they hit the wrong button as they are next to each other and didn't want to admit it. Food was pretty good but personally won't come back because of this. I opted for the Steak teriyaki bento box with came with steak (medium rare) teriyaki, rice, 3 tempura shrimp, 2 tempura veg, 3 cali rolls, 3 gyozas, miso soup & salad for about $22.00. The miso soup was good but the salad was avg. The dressing got really watery. The gyozas & Cali rolls were fair but generous servings of tempura were outstanding! Crisp & hot. Even after 10 mins. Not oily or greasy. The rice was cooked properly. The only misstep was the steak. The steak was also cooked properly at medium rare & looked beautiful. The inside was nice and pink. But upon chewing, the steak was not tender at all. Very very chewy. When you were young, you were taught fo chew at least 30 times. Well, this exceeded the recommended amount of chewing. The steak has a nice beefy flavor but just tough. SHAME. Overall, Sweet Ginger is a very popular and nice place to have Japanese food. The sushi plates (not pictured) were colorful and beautiful.
