This place is easily forgotten in Lawton since China Wok is just the default, but the quality of product here has always been fantastic for "hole in the wall" Chinese food. China Express has consistently delicious food, extremely fast service, and friendly staff. My go to is always Mongolian Beef or Combo Fried Rice, with an order of Crab Rangoon. Dont let the facade dampen your spirit, this place pack a punch when it comes to food they serve. The Pho broth is comparable to high end resto. They got multiple choices of food and the price is wallet friendly. Staff are nice and the place is family friendly too. Smells fantastic but.... if you like cotton mouth, you'll love China Express' fried rice. If you like deep fried beef jerky, you'll love China Express' sesame chicken. Is this the best Chinese food in the entire world? No. Is it good, always come hot, and not too expensive? Yes! For a while it was the only Chinese place that delivered here in Lawton. I don't particularly like their egg rolls and I wish they had spring rolls but the chicken lo mein is delicious! The broccoli beef is always full of broccoli and the sweet and sour chicken is white meat chicken. I tried the shrimp with mixed vegetables for the first time tonight and it was delicious! They definitely didn't skimp on the vegetables! Water chestnuts, baby corn, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms! I have never been to the physical location for a meal but I would definitely recommend the delivery. read more

A friend recommended this place, so I visited to try the lunch buffet. There is a seating area, but no waiters or waitresses. The salad bar consists of random vegetables and congealed ranch dressing. On the steam table, there were low quantities of everything, including egg rolls, wontons, orange chicken, and broccoli beef. The egg drop soup was lukewarm and thick. I was actually very surprised with the Vietnamese Pho, great taste but I like my broth a little hotter (temperature wise). I also ordered orange chicken which was the best I've had in a while. Overall pleased with the food. Make sure to check your food as they did mix up my order a bit. The crab Rangoon are a must. read more

They may not be the best for delievery like most chinese takeout because the sauces will make a mess but they know their craft!! All their food is good and they dont skimp out. Very impressed by their pho! If you have to take it home, best to put in another bowl and heat it back up to hot temp instead of warm and its awesome. Crab ragoons are a must. The food can packaged as usual. Once open I was delighted to find the fork spoon condiments and an abundance of Nikons in a bag with the order. The crab Rangoons have quite a bit of onion not much crab, but they taste good with a good crisp to them The fried wontons are much larger than I expected and stuffed well. The chicken tasted excellent, but was not hot or spicy. Tastes more like peppered chicken. The rice was beyond bland, which is why only 4 stars. Great food. Sometimes ordering off the drive thru menu is difficult. They have dinner sizes and dinner specials, and if you say the wrong thing, you will miss out on a lot of food. Don't mix them up or the lady that owns it will get rather "hot" with you when you ask why you are missing a whole dinner sized meal. The Generals Tao was bland, egg drop soup smelled rotten and taste it, the rice had no veggies, and the egg rolls were soggy and tasted like they were made a previous day.To top it all off my food was cold!!!! I was impressed. I'm not a big fan of the other Chinese buffets or restaurants in town. My favorite food was Hunan's. I hadn't found anything to fill the void until yesterday. My family dined and each got separate meals which we all shared. The hot n spicy chicken was nothing short of amazing. The Kung pao beef was actually spicy and delicious unlike other places. The Szechwan beef was delicious, plenty of carrots and also presented beautifully with four broccoli flowerets in each of the corners. The combination fried rice was amazing and the crab Rangoon thin but crispy. My only complaint was the tempura that the sweet and sour chicken was dipped in was a little thick but the chicken was tender and delicious. All the meats were tender, rather than the boot leather gristle pieces you get at other Chinese establishments. I will be eating here a lot more now that I've found it. Decided to give this place a try. The service was very nice. I called my order in for take out. The gentleman on the phone was nice and answered all my questions. We ordered the combination fried rice, the dinner special of hot and spicy chicken and broccoli beef and an order of pho. The combination rice was okay. Just okay. Nothing great or spectacular. The hot and spicy chicken was not spicy and the broccoli and beef was too sweet for my taste. The rice, was bland. Not too much flavor at all. The Pho. I did enjoy the Pho. That's what made me give the two stars. The broth was very good, bold flavors of Anis and beef. Very good brisket and thin flank steak, fresh bean sprouts, white onion, cilantro, and a good portion of rice noodles. (My lime was dried out and useless). However, it was not given to me in a bowl, but in the same multi-compartmented container the other food was provided in. So, it was a good thing I went home to eat and had clean dishes.
