We eat here regularly. I actually think their good has gotten better. I like that you can order it as spicy as you like. I order Hunan chicken quite a bit and ask for a little extra spice. I cannot handle it extra hot. At one time I could but not now. I also think they have some of the best egg rolls in town. They are usually crispy. This is our go-to for Chinese. It's not too far away, has decent food, owned by locals who work hard so I like to support them. If you order drinks, their sweet tea is the best. It's nice to sit down in or to go through the drive-thru. Just be aware, sometimes at lunch you are going to be busy. For as many people who complain on here, you would think the food is awful. If I served awful food, I doubt lunch would be standing in line inside or backed up in the car lane outside. Just saying. Don't expect five-star food from a fast food restaurant. 2026: Has really gone downhill in quality of food. Taste like minimal use of aromatics used so any dishes stir fried in a soy sauce base, taste as if it was stir fried in soy sauce only. Chicken in Garlic Sauce is very bland with no garlic/ginger flavor. Have even received Sweet & Sour Chicken so hard & dry it tastes like they refried old leftover chicken pieces. End up throwing away food even though I've waited months before trying them again hoping they've gone back to the quality food they used to make. Have never seen improvement. read more

China walk has one of the most disrespectful counter clerks. I have ever been to in my 66 years of life she made us pick the changes up off the counter and directly hand it to her before she would accept it. I ordered Lo Mein; I paid for Lo Mein and received "Faux Mein" made with Spaghetti Noodles. These are entirely different noodles; Lo Mein is a fatter, chewier, bouncy noodle that soaks up sauce and flavors. They are absolutely one of the best most famous Chinese food place in Lawton just like the other Chinese restaurant Wok N Roll but a different but exactly the same same food but they have different food items like this one but still it's the same love their Chinese food as well no matter which Chinese place you go this one or Wok N Roll still the best Chinese food ever they make the food smelling cook food you can literally see them working real hard for us to get our food done and quick too read more

Sept. 2, 2023: Drive Thru Dinner Order of Mild Chicken with Garlic Sauce with EXTRA Vegetables. The brown sauce had little more than a water taste with no garlic flavor. My luck of getting a cook who did not know how to adjust ingredients to compensate for all the extra cabbage added which watered down the sauce so it had no taste. Paid $2 extra for the extra vegetables but what they did was reduce the quantity of chicken used in total order to make room for the extra vegetables and charged $2 for the exchange (total meal size was SMALLER than normal and cost $2 more). Ended up throwing away meal after a few bites as it had no taste, adequate red pepper but sauce was tasteless. read more

This is the second time in a row that I've found a metal shaving in my Chinese food, the first time was at "China Garden" in Elgin. I usually eat there at least once a month. Tonight I went there and ordered $35 worth of stuff . I ordered hot and spicy chicken mild it was to hot couldn't eat it! Ordered garlic shrimp got something with cabbage and carrots and very hot again told them all my food to be very mild. Ordered egg drop soup left and looked and no soup! This place is near to my heart as it is in my hometown. The service for the most part can be hit or miss, but I come for one item only. The hot and spicy chicken haunts my dreams as I can't get over the delicious flavor. The texture is crispy but not chewy. I have had a few other items on the menu, but when you want pure bliss, you waste no time on other choices. This place is def. a hole in the wall joint, but what in Lawton isn't these days. Bring cash. I'm assuming all the people posting, "best Ive ever had" have never left Lawton before. I drove by this place and decided I need to try it. I called in an order and they asked when I could be there. I told them 5-10 mins. I get there to find out its cash only, go a block over, get cash then come back. In that time apparently I had been gone too long and they gave my food away. Not only that the staff was very rude. I told myself the only way I would go back is if the food truly was "best I've ever had". Sadly enough, it fell way short. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, just not great. Honestly, if the staff wasn't terrible I definitely would go back, but I just can't see that happening now. I came here only because my friend raves about it. I know she only gets one particular dish that I wasn't interested in, but I thought I would give them a shot. The first thing I noticed was the number of meth heads hanging out. The second thing was this has to be the smallest menu I have ever seen a Chinese restaurant to have. They didn't have my favorite dish, so I went for a variety; fried wonton, crab rangoon, wonton soup and fried rice. Food was ready fast and the serving size for fried rice was HUGE. The flavor of the wonton broth was good. That is where the pros end. The friend wonton was crazy salty, the rangoon tasted very odd, both were borderline burned and the fried rice had no flavor. read more

They make your food to order & it does taste a little more fresh than some other chinese places however, I would definitely opt out to picking Panda Express over this location since their beef & Broccoli is VERY breaded & I felt sick after eating it. The first time I was here we ordered two of their chicken dishes so I did not want to speak horribly of this place. But I most likely will not be coming back after that last experience. read more

China Wok has my all-time favorite dish that I would have as a last meal: Hot and Spicy Chicken! I've had a lot of Chinese food in my time but I've never had a dish that is quite like this. The chicken is caramelized and slightly crunchy with some sweet and hot spicy flavors. I have had this dish at least 200-300 times since I moved to Lawton in 2002. I no longer live close to the restaurant but I have to drop by at least once every two weeks to get my fix! I've had most of the other dishes and they are very good as well in my opinion. The portion sizes are very generous for the price. This place gets very busy but the occasional 10-15 minute wait is worth it. Best for take out. read more
