We used to get hot soup here and they don't serve anymore. We used to get sweet-and-sour chicken and they don't serve it there anymore and they'll say they never served it but we've cut the menus and the pictures of it online so just be aware of that. As far as I'm concerned, we haven't gotten anything from there yet. I've tried several different sushi. I love their sushi and if there's something you want on your sushi, you can get it right there when you ask. I've had the hot spicy chicken, which was wonderful. My husband has said two or three different types of other chicken that were all wonderful. YAKI mandu is Great. The service is up and beyond what you'll normally get from some restaurants they're not intrusive, but they're there when you need them. The owner actually goes around to the table, sometimes checking on people if they're not too busy in the back that she has to help and sometimes they can be quite busy. The ambience, the ambience the ambience is wonderful. We walk into a nice clean place and the lights are not quite as bright as you would expect. There's a desk in front of a seating area to the left of you to Fire Mountain so you can get an idea inside. people are smiling and they offer you to be seated and walk in clean floors and the tables are really nice and they can get to a table It'squirt and easygoing. Would I say dare night? If you don't feel like dressing up and just want a nice restaurant to sit down and order a meal, then yes! If you want fancy, dress up, not really. I'm going out on a limb here. If you wanted something Special, I have. Feeling you could call and get it area Ged. I'm sure there would be a charge if it was something they don't do. Beijing has been our favorite, hands down, thus far. The level of customer service is by far the best I've seen from anywhere in this city. The brother and sister who run this establishment are some of the kindest people, and I'm so happy we found this place. The food has been consistent, and delicious both times we've come. We've tried everything from the ramen, to the sushi, to the entrees, and I can confidently recommend it all. The restaurant is clean and very spacious, with plenty of parking, so bring your friends and family!

Needless to say, the timing can be off so on one occasion me and my kids decided to get some grub while waiting to meet their mother. This is how I came about dining at Green Tea Buffet. The restaurant is located a stones throw from I-35 in a safe part of town, in front of Walmart. It's a simple and small yet very clean facility with small accents of Chinese culture thrown in here and there making for a nice ambiance. While they do have a menu one can order from, my kids and I decided to hit the buffet so we can sample a lot of goodies. Just to note the staff here are extremely friendly and always have a smile, which is to say the only time I went everyone was nice. After we gave our drink order, my girls and I hit the buffet. Now I've been to many mega Chinese buffets and this is a scaled down version yet they have many of the popular dishes. Some of our favorite items were the delicious "chicken on a stick" which literally flakes away from the skewer, the mei fun which has rice vermicelli noodles with some veggies like bean sprouts and carrots, fried rice and lo mein. These were all extremely well prepared and the servers actually rotate the old items out aka FIFO at regular intervals and give a good cleaning while there. Other notable items that were tasty are the egg roll and fried spring rolls which I prefer, tender beef and broccoli, wantons, creamy crab Rangoon and the Chinese donut. While I didn't get the following items my kids did and they liked the fried chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's chicken and roast pork. If these are too heavy for you, they also have a fresh salad bar with normal "fixing's" along with pasta salad, fresh fruit and California rolls (please note eating sushi rolls that have been sitting out are never very good as the rice cools down to keep the protein cold, thus missing the point of sushi) as well as various sweets like puddings, cakes berries and something I despise that fruit salad with whipped cream; I'll never eat that anywhere, ever! Sorry too many times burned at Church functions. I honestly can't recall if they had an ice cream machine b/c if they did I would have eaten it! Even with my sorrow of dropping my kids off to not see them for another year or so, Green Tea Buffet offered a nice meal and time spent with my kids. The food is good, the people nice and the restaurant is safe and clean. I really had low expectations when I stopped by and left with a smile on my face while my energy levels dipped from digesting a good meal. If you're traveling and in the area with an itch for Chinese, stop on by!
