This is not a comment on rural salt of the earth people, but sophistication was was not in abundance here. The entrance had two sets of doors. Posted on the second door was a hand made sign advertising a flooring business. Maybe it was from family or a friend, but not expected. Walking in we seated ourselves. Atmosphere was calm and people seemed to be enjoying their dinner. My wife and I ordered steak and shrimp. We then went to the salad bar. It had iceberg lettuce and lots of standard fixxens. They also had corn muffins which I helped myself to several. The lettuce was fresh. The other side items were plentiful. The cornbread initially was sweet, but it had a mildly unpleasant almost chemical aftertaste. I would like to recommend using Martha White in the future. I ordered a steak cooked medium. I prefer medium rare, but my experience is my steak is either over cooked or under cooked. At medium, it can go either way and I can still enjoy it. My steak arrived medium well on one side and well done on the other. The mashed potatoes were good. I got 4 frozen fried shrimp. I did not expect fresh shrimp in the middle of the country, but the extra price for 4 shrimp was not worth it. It would have been nicer if the amount of potatoes was larger. They're cheap relatively to the prices being charged. My wife ordered hers to be medium rare and it was rare to medium rare. She had veggies that were average. Things I noticed. When we entered, I saw a server putting rolls in a to-go container with her bare hands. When they bus tables, instead of bringing out a tub, the roll out a dirty cart through the dining room. The prices are to much for what we received. The ticket was left with us when the food was delivered, where we had to take it to the cashier when leaving. They charge and additional 4% for plastic payments. Over all, it was pricey, hokey, and over rated.

Food was well made. Service was fast. The only drawback was the salad bar has small plates and only…read moreone trip allowed with a meal.

The staff was friendly and accomodating and the meal we had at Apache Grill was fantastic. We enjoyed the casino as well. Only critique is how loudly the room doors slammed, waking you late at night or early in the morning. Overall, was happy with our stay and would stay again.

We received a king sized room on the fifth floor and it was quite spacious. we did notice that the wood finish on many of the surfaces were chipped, and overall the room was really showing its age. The mattress itself felt like an old spring mattress, and it felt like I could feel the individual springs in the mattress; I didn't get all that great of sleep while I was here because of that. There was no safe in our room that I could find, so we kept our valuables on us at all times. Apart from the rooms, on check in we had some hiccups with the staff who had issues with our check in process, so we had to wait around for 10 minutes while they resolved things. Afterwards, they realized they did not have us do an incidental, so they had to call us to bring us back to the front desk to get it from us several hours after we checked in. They said we could come by at our convenience, but we received two more phone calls within half an hour while we were out enjoying our time. Their mistake became our problem, and we did not appreciate that. Aside from that, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I felt very happy talking with most of the staff there for anything we needed. The hotel itself is nice, with its common areas and casino area very clean. There was no smoking inside so we enjoyed breathing clean air when we visited the casino. There is a grill that is open many hours of the day there, and a dinner restraint as well is open in the evenings. Is it nearby several restaurants, so food is easily accessible which we really liked. Overall, it was a good hotel, but we're not sure we'd stay here again unless we just wanted to conveniently gamble our whole trip without needing to leave.

Every day except for Mondays, they have a food special in the buffet for everyone. On Mondays, they allow tribal elders to eat for free. I think dinner is $13/adults and it was worth every penny!! The staff is so nice and welcoming and our table was bussed within 5-10 min of our plates being empty. What service!! You don't even get that at some 4 star restaurants. The buffet area and seating were super clean. The chairs weren't worn down and everything was dusted from floor to ceiling. Even the beaded lampshade above us was free of dust!! I am used to casino buffets in Blackhawk, CO and Las Vegas, NV so this was a little smaller, but the quality of food was on par with those larger casinos. I had the beef goulash soup that I went and got thirds of. The carving station had a top sirloin, I believe and they even had rare cuts!! I'm winning at this point. You could have made a taco with all the fixings on fry bread, which I sadly did not partake in because I ran out of stomach real estate eating other yummy dishes. They had popcorn shrimp, fired cod, and another fried fish, which were all delicious and you could tell they were freshly made within the quarter hour. Usually, food is salty to me on buffets because it has to feed the masses and many people have a higher tolerance for salt, but this food was so flavorful and not super salty. The salad bar is your typical salad bar so if you're into healthier options, you had options. Now, let's talk about dessert...everything I ate was amazing and the portions were smaller so that you could try them all without wasting food. If the dessert has whipped cream on it, you can bet that the whipped cream is whipped in house.

I know I've posted here before, but it's been a few years so I would like to add a new review…read morebecause you know how restaurants can go down after a few years Be careful looking at the menus that they have uploaded because many of them are wrong. We used to get hot soup here and they don't serve anymore. We used to get sweet-and-sour chicken and they don't serve it there anymore and they'll say they never served it but we've cut the menus and the pictures of it online so just be aware of that. As far as I'm concerned, we haven't gotten anything from there yet. I've tried several different sushi. I love their sushi and if there's something you want on your sushi, you can get it right there when you ask. I've had the hot spicy chicken, which was wonderful. My husband has said two or three different types of other chicken that were all wonderful. YAKI mandu is Great. The service is up and beyond what you'll normally get from some restaurants they're not intrusive, but they're there when you need them. The owner actually goes around to the table, sometimes checking on people if they're not too busy in the back that she has to help and sometimes they can be quite busy. The ambience, the ambience the ambience is wonderful. We walk into a nice clean place and the lights are not quite as bright as you would expect. There's a desk in front of a seating area to the left of you to Fire Mountain so you can get an idea inside. people are smiling and they offer you to be seated and walk in clean floors and the tables are really nice and they can get to a table It'squirt and easygoing. Would I say dare night? If you don't feel like dressing up and just want a nice restaurant to sit down and order a meal, then yes! If you want fancy, dress up, not really. I'm going out on a limb here. If you wanted something Special, I have. Feeling you could call and get it area Ged. I'm sure there would be a charge if it was something they don't do. But its always something to consider Exx: you want to bring a surprise ccHe in with sparklers etc. I'd definitely ask here. That's how sweet I think these people are. The only fsukt I have with them is their menu. I'm going to uokias a new copy soon. Have fun. Edit: I got the Yam Yam sushi. I now have one I can say I don't like. Not their fault but yuck. It said fried cream cheese. The entire roll is friend with a crumb or panko bread crumbs on the outside. Not what I was expecting. My hus and did take out. 2 bites and I was done. Never again. those of you who like fried foods may enjoy it.
