My friends and I ordered take-out one night after talking about it for weeks. I had tried Wong's two or three times before and wasn't super impressed, but that was years ago, so I was hoping it would be improved. Sadly, I still wasn't too happy with the food. First off, you have to call to order. I don't believe they have dining in, but I'm not 100% sure on that. When calling, it took me forever to get through. It was busy for about 15 minutes. Once I was able to get through, we were told it would be about 25 minutes before we can pick up. No problems there. The woman I talked to was very pleasant and efficient. I'm pretty sure the same woman on the phone was the same who ran our order out once we arrived. My two friends ordered combination plates. Neither of them were really impressed. One of my friends also ordered egg drop soup. Not only did it not smell appetizing, it also had a pretty noticeable hair right on top. It was long enough I find it hard to believe no one saw it. I ordered vegetable chow mein. The vegetable broth was ok, not amazing but not terrible. Most of the vegetables were obviously fresh, so that's a good thing. However, the noodles was just a bag of dried noodles, similar to what you see as a topper on soup. It absolutely ruined it because they were very generic, super bland, and definitely not what I was wanting or expecting. The crab rangoon was honestly the best part of the meal. There wasn't much imitation crab inside, but the flavor was decent. However, they were ridiculously huge wonton wrappers for the size of the filling. A ton of friend wonton wrapper for basically a half-spoonful of filling. I ended up taking the crab rangoon home and put them in the air fryer for a bit, and they were honestly much better that way. Honestly, I have no idea why this place has such a local reputation for being good. The best way to sum it up is the cheapest quality, Americanized, fairly expensive Chinese food you can get. The food tasted good but the after effect we both (my husband and I) felt with in ten minutes of eating this food was one of burping and farting at a level that could not possibly be healthy. My husband and I do not consume much take out but we did stick with more vegetable driven dishes and wow... we will not go back, ever! Not because it didn't taste good.. but I have no idea what is in the food to make us want to feel Like we had to vomit, then provide more gas than Oklahoma natural gas locations thru our back sides. Not a good felling I promise you. It been about 5 hours and our stomachs are finally settled down. If people consume this food on a regular bases ... wow!!! Wrong Restaurant is more like it! Wow, I seriously don't understand how this place is rated so well! I didn't even finish half the food. And pretty soon after we left my stomach started hurting. Don't believe the hype about this place!!! Their food is sub par Chinese cuisine. I've had mall food court Chinese/Asian that was better than this. The food is very salty- loaded with MSG & way too much soy sauce! The chicken dishes have those unappetizing "mystery" pieces you discretely spit out in your napkin. Definitely not the white meat chicken I'm used to having in dishes like S&S chicken - sesame chicken and general tso. I've heard many times the talk about how they get busted for having raccoons in their freezers. When spitting out quite a few pieces of "chicken" these stories come to mind.After trying the buffet on three separate occasions I can conclude that I have fairly given them the benefit of the doubt and will never go back! I scarcely expected culinary greatness, true. That said, it's not half-bad for a Cantonese-American restaurant in western Oklahoma. Our table service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and well lighted. Would I call this Yelp review a gastronome's homage? Hardly. Tried Wongs the other day for the first time and will definitely be back. Their fried rice is really good! I tried their orange chicken and it was pretty tasted as well, it's not as spicy as some Chinese restaurants but nonetheless good! I recommend stopping by if you're craving Chinese. read more

So, I've been to a lot of Chinese food places in my time, from china town in SF to china town in NY and everything in between .... And this has to be my favorite Chinese food place. For one they have an awesome buffet for lunch, yet you still can order of the menu a la cart style. For dinner they are almost always packed, but that doesn't hinder them from getting your food out fast and hot. It's all very delicious and real. They even have American food for the unadventurous eater, from burgers to steaks and club sandwiches. However, I say come and eat some authentic Chinese food. My favorite dishes are the Mo Shi Beef, which comes with tasty Mo Shi wrappers, stir fried sliced beef, mushrooms, egg, bamboo shoots and cabbage, which you wrap (fun with your hands) and eat with a tasty Hoisin Sauce. My other fav is the Ma-Po's Tofu, which comes with finely chopped pork, pepper corn and green onions in a mouth watering Szechwan hot sauce, which for a couple dollars extra you can even add shrimp mmm'mmmmm :). Oh yeah!! and I cant forget to mention their egg rolls, hand made, hand rolled, deep fried and amazing. I've heard people will drive hours just to get these, and I don't blame them. That with a little egg roll apple sauce, sweet-n-sour, hot mustard or chili and you have a taste bud delight. The restaurant itself has a cozy Oklahoma charm with a Cantonese American Family feel. The decor is somewhat outdated, but that only adds to the appeal... almost as if you where eating at your Chinese Grandma's House. The staff is pleasant and humble, and Mrs. Wong and her Kids (all adults now) will still come out to greet you even when they are busiest. The restaurant has been open since 1973 and still gets a line out the door for sunday buffet. Someone is clearly doing something right here, and Wong's, as well as the little town of Clinton, deserve some recognition. So like the workers say at night in Cantonese, "go home, go to bed. make baby." .... and then come bring them to Wong's. read more

If people really think that this food is divine, you guys really need to get out of Clinton for a day or week and travel somewhere authentic. My mu shu pork mandarin crepe was a tortilla! Don't go there, I can see your mind turning right now - no this place is not Asian-Mexican fusion food! I guess Costco doesn't sell Mandarin Crepes but you can find a boat load of tortillas at Sam's Club. Come on, if you're going to serve Asian food, serve Asian food and not Mexican food. This place is truly amazing. The food is the best Chinese food in America. Since the reopening they only do take out. Must wear your mask to even pick up in your car. They are gloved and masked at all times. Service is tremendous and fast. If you can catch a free second to get them to answer you'll love it! My four month old and I went here with my mother on Saturday for lunch. When I walked in I was kinda disappointed by how tiny the buffet was. The quality of food was there, it is definitely the best Chinese food in Western Oklahoma! The service is beyond amazing! My drink was also filled and they were right there is I needed anything at all! The inside was very clean, the outside deceives it. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the price. We paid $30 for 2 adult buffets. I wouldn't have mind paying that if there was more food or if there was seafood. I will go back during the week just because the prices are cheaper or I will order off of the menu. read more
