I placed the order online and it was ready pretty much when I got there, which was within the pick up timeframe listed. I appreciated that they had an online ordering option, even if it was through Grubhub. The inside is rather small. I think there are two, maybe three very small plastic tables. However, it definitely seems like a spot where the same folks go regularly. Everyone inside seem to know each other, and they were all engaging in a nice conversation. The food itself was fine. I think it's about the same as any other carryout. The wonton soup I had was very basic and not my favorite. But they did include the crispy noodles for free. Also worth noting, their lunch special price of eight dollars or $8.50 was legit. And for the price, the portion was great. I definitely want to stop by in the future and maybe try something else.

I especially enjoy their fries and the drinks they include with their lunch items. The space is small and overall clean. Customer service is good -their front register guy comes off stoic and overly neutral at times but I've had some dope conversations with him before so I encourage visitors to just come with grace and patience. Parking is easy! This place has potential but I think they could improve on their sweet & sour chicken, portion sizes and business hours.

I ordered the Rib Tips and Pork Fried Rice for pickup. Honestly, I was hesitant because Yum's has really gone down in quality over the last few years, but I was hungry and just wanted to grab something fast. I wouldn't say I completely regret getting it, but it definitely wasn't worth the extra calories. Let's start with the Pork Fried Rice. The one thing I'll give them credit for is that it wasn't greasy. But the lack of flavor completely messed it up. It was so bland that I actually had to bring it home, re-cook it in a pan, and add some garlic butter just to give it some life. The Spare Rib Tips were another miss. They gave me a really good amount of food, which I appreciated since I was hungry, but the meat was very chewy. It almost tasted like the tips were a bit old. I ate it because I was hungry, but this place consistently fails to meet the standards they used to have. Unfortunately, this is no longer a good takeout spot, and I definitely won't be going back.

We called just after the maximum time window we were given (75 minutes). They said that the food had just left and would arrive shortly. I called back after another hour and asked them to cancel our order. They said "yeah, okay" and hung up the phone without asking what order I was calling about. I called back and they directed me to Menufy to cancel since it was an online order. The people at Menufy were great, but when they called the restaurant they said that the food was delivered, refused to refund the order, and apparently swore at the customer service rep from Menufy. I don't know what to say because the food was never delivered, we have a Ring camera and can prove that. Hopefully we get our money back. Well, we apparently won't get our money back. The store is refusing to allow Menufy to issue a refund. Our crappy review stands and we're out $61. Hope it was worth it, Yum's!

We have been familiar with the area for years, as my father-in-law lived 3 minutes away, and recently we realized this was his go-to carryout. After 3 visits, I can say it's one of the best in the DMV, thanks to its flavor and food choices. You will find Japanese options like sushi, American-Chinese dishes like orange chicken, similar dishes, and Cantonese food like roast duck, Hong Kong-style noodle soups, and whole fish. They are family-owned and operated. Every time we come, the elder father is always gracious and provides excellent service. The restaurant is always quiet; you can hear conversations in the back, and as customers arrive to pick up their orders, we haven't witnessed any negative interactions. Customers are always happy with their food, and the staff say thank you. The only negative is the space. The building itself is older and outdated. In the summer, it is hot, and now in the winter, there is no heat. They have found ways to make it work, like space heaters on each table, but it can still get uncomfortable if you are dining in. The back area near the bathroom and the bathroom itself need a thorough cleaning. To me, it's a turnoff; it doesn't affect the food, but it does affect the dine-in experience. Again, overall, I love their food and believe it's a local gem worth a try.

It was packed but we got one of the last tables available and were seated right away, others that came later had to wait. Service was great--staff were friendly and attentive. The Noodle with Pork & Black Bean Sauce and Noodle with Veg & Beef Spicy Seafood Soup are my top favorites noodle dishes here. We also got the Fried Dumplings, which were just okay. Even though they make their noodles fresh, the jjajangmyeon wasn't great. The noodles were on the softer side, and the sauce had very little flavor. The tangsuyuk, however, was a nice portion--we opted for the larger order for just $5 more. We would return to try their jjamppong, which many people were ordering.
