Numerous diners including us had to get and walk over to their table(yes the owners and kids/wait staff/ hostess had a table) and ask for drink refills. It became a running skit at how many folks felt scorn by the lady owner as she sighed and rolled her eyes. Nobody wanted to bother them they seemed to be having a grand time playing on their phones and tablets. The Hispanic kitchen employees kept the food coming and it like I said was typical Chinese. You can throw a rock and it all taste identical. How do they do that anyway? my spouse said he went to pay and the owners didn't even want to run the register. He said she looked at him with disgust and didn't even speak one word. Weirdest lunch ever. I have gave it two stars based on value. 6.92 per person.

Never had any issues at this Panda, it's also the first I've seen that has a drive-thru and this is…read morecoming from someone who used to live in Los Angeles and Phoenix, two major metropolitans and you were forced to park and go in! Typically inside grocery stores too, not just their own business. It's so much nicer being able to just drive up like anywhere else and I've loved it for the years I've lived here. The staff is really kind and do their best to be speedy, the only downside is (and this is company policy, they do it at all of them) being asked every time if you want to donate money. I don't, food costs too much now to spare any, but it works at making you feel bad and making it harder to say no, I wish they just wouldn't ask. The food is also typically really great and I'm a bit confused about some other people's reviews relating to it. For example, someone states they ordered a bigger plate and show an image of "the bigger plate" yet it's in an ala carte box, not a plate container, which means it's not even legitimately what he's claiming as they have never served any plate size in that way nor any bowls for that matter. They portion heavily most of the time so you don't feel ripped off even though it is one of the pricier places in town, typically costing around 13 or so dollars per person, and as long as you don't come purposefully during rush-hour (the same hours EVERYTHING in Defiance is overly busy) you will be handled fast in the drive-thru and inside, and as long as you don't come RIGHT AFTER said rush hours, you will get fresh food.

Don't expect the world's best anything - you are picking up freshly-cooked food defensively - anything you get here will be better than the gas station taquitos or the Arby's roast beef sandwich binge you will regret in 30 minutes. But to be clear, it's not going to be particularly great. Something about the time of day that I pass by through this area gets me so excited to toss in a pickup order just to see what I get. The Singapore-style Mei Fun is reliable. Get it plain without the Singapore curry spice if you're more suspicious. lol. Anything like String Beans with Garlic, or Beef with Broccoli, is going to be perfectly acceptable for a road warrior like you. The location, consistency, and ease of triangulation with regards to ordering over the phone (or having your shotgun passenger order) about 10 minutes before you reach this Hwy exit merits a solid 4-star review. The food is 3-star ish, but the mere existence of this place warrants a bonus "Oasis" star.
