Never had any issues at this Panda, it's also the first I've seen that has a drive-thru and this is coming from someone who used to live in Los Angeles and Phoenix, two major metropolitans and you were forced to park and go in! Typically inside grocery stores too, not just their own business. It's so much nicer being able to just drive up like anywhere else and I've loved it for the years I've lived here. The staff is really kind and do their best to be speedy, the only downside is (and this is company policy, they do it at all of them) being asked every time if you want to donate money. I don't, food costs too much now to spare any, but it works at making you feel bad and making it harder to say no, I wish they just wouldn't ask. The food is also typically really great and I'm a bit confused about some other people's reviews relating to it. For example, someone states they ordered a bigger plate and show an image of "the bigger plate" yet it's in an ala carte box, not a plate container, which means it's not even legitimately what he's claiming as they have never served any plate size in that way nor any bowls for that matter. They portion heavily most of the time so you don't feel ripped off even though it is one of the pricier places in town, typically costing around 13 or so dollars per person, and as long as you don't come purposefully during rush-hour (the same hours EVERYTHING in Defiance is overly busy) you will be handled fast in the drive-thru and inside, and as long as you don't come RIGHT AFTER said rush hours, you will get fresh food. read more

Lady at the counter would pay attention to what I was saying. Kept asking the same question after I just answered. Scooped god knows how old chicken into my bowl when the other girl was standing there with brand new chicken. I got the new chicken tho but the point is she didn't think to hold up for new because can only assume she was trying to listen to the manager yell at the cooks for something they probably didn't even do or maybe they did. Incredible that you would have a sign posted on the front door that says open at 10:30 it's 11:30 and still locked ! The Manger has 6 people in there with a counter fully stocked and he tells me they won't open the dine in for another hour yet they are serving drive through only! What's wrong with the current management model ? They don't have a clue as to how to open up on time and start selling rather then to not sell! Hello it's lunch time and people are going to go somewhere else! They need new management obviously they don't want to make the company money! The food is good when done right. But that is very rare. The last three times I've gone have been unpleasant experiences. I waited 27 minutes in line. I went in and they were just getting my food ready. I told them I didn't want it anymore and just wanted a refund. They insisted I wait and they took my name to give me a free meal. When I got the food, there were three pieces of vegetables in my meal. Another time I went, they said they were waiting for my food to finish cooking. Again, there were barely any vegetables. They said it's because they ran out. Last time I went, again. Only a few vegetables. They said the same thing. They ran out. So I guess once the run out, they don't make anymore? They think it's ok to only give you part of your meal and still charge the same price? I never went back to get my free meal and I never will. The workers were friendly enough. read more

The online ordering system has been down for a month. When I call to inquire I get a employee who is clearly put out having to answer the phone. Wont even take a phone order. It's is nice place to go for lunch, clean building, nice set up. I've came here three times now, each time a disappointment. The portion sizes for what you pay is ridiculous. I am a big fan of panda, and have been to many across the country. Sometimes it's not always up to par, but you can always count on having enough to eat. This location is not the case. After working in the cold all morning, I hope for a warm meal that fills me up. The food is rarely hot, and usually cold by the time you get to it. The portion size is a true disappointment. The only good thing about the experience was this kid named aiden, best person on the team, super professional and kind. Went in with my son and waited behind one person for over 10 minutes. They were out of most entrees so we decided to wait. Que 20 minute wait for food only for the rice and chow mein to be cold because they put that on the plate while they waited for the other food to cook. Also forgot our egg rolls. Highlight was listening to Debbie complain because she had been there all day and wasn't going to get home until 11 tonight. The lobby was so cold I had to wear my coat. Staff are rude and hate their jobs. They'll cheat you out on food if there's barely enough left and just give you half a scoop and call it good. Don't even ask to make fresh if there's hardly any in there unless you want them to cop an attitude. I've had the Walnut Shrimp before at other Panda Express, and what I got here was terrible in comparison. Almost no sauce on the shrimp, maybe 2 walnut pieces. And the Chow Mein was dry and tasteless. Sorry, never again. Wish I had my money back. read more

Every time we go to this Panda Express, they are out of something or we have to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to make it from the 30 minutes we waiting in the drive through already. The food is always cold and the chicken eggs rolls are always burnt. Their service is horrible and they offer no apologies for the additional wait time. Avoid this place. horrible. every single time. i've had panda in other states but for some reason only this location doesn't taste right. every time i go i barely get any entree. my entree is ALWAYS dry with barely any sauce. Staff sucks. food is the same in every state.. its about the workers who prepare it. there should be no reason it tastes like this. just like everything else in defiance yall bring in and just give us the bottom of the barrel. its ridiculous defiance brings in new and more modern places but they get such a low rating because nobody in the staff actually cares. i honestly don't know why i even tried again.
