Apparently the woman who took my order today didn't like my TRUMP pin I was wearing. She gave me a nice greeting when I got to the counter she looked at my pin and her total attitude changed. I ordered a large scallop meal to eat today and tomorrow and an order of steamed dumplings I was charged accordingly when I got home my order was a small scallop and vegetable meal with my steamed dumplings the sauce that comes with the dumplings was dumped all over the inside of my bag. What a mess. Im very disappointed in the service I received. I even left a nice tip. It will be a long long time before I step foot in this business again and you can bet I will have my TRUMP pin on. read more

Sometimes when every other Chinese place is closed (including the one you were hoping for - Kam Wah) you decide to stop by a little buffet with a 3.5 star rating on here (as of when I'm writing this). A buffet is usually a good assortment and when I realized you could order regular meals I still chose the buffet. For $20 (one adult and two kids) this place was AWFUL! Half of the buffet was out of food, when we asked if they still had some no response from the lady she just yelled to the back and as we continued to ask for more and more things that were missing she just began to completely ignore us and watch Netflix on her phone. Since she ignored our questions we decided to take down the piece of paper held up by a binder clip on the overhead glass of what the food is below. They were out of chicken so we set it at the front counter so they'd know it was out. She grabbed it and went to the chicken spot put it back and DID NOT start any new chicken! Not only was this AWFUL customer service and shouldn't even be called a "buffet" the food was GROSS as well! Please, if in the area go somewhere else. We will never make that mistake again read more

If anyone is saying this crap is good then you have never been to a mediocre Chinese restaurant at all, go to the Ko's Garden in Swanton, yes I know it is Mandarin but order the beef and broccoli and tell me it is not the best beef you have ever had read more

We were in town for the 2017 Midwest Geobash at the nearby fairgrounds. We found China House via Yelp and are so happy we stopped in! Really good, fresh, inexpensive food. And they have a HUGE menu! We started with crab rangoons, which were made to order (YUM!). Then I had a dish (#D7, can't recall the name) with chicken, beef, shrimp, and broccoli with the sauce on the side -- it was wonderful, and a giant serving -- I never even touched my rice because I filled up on the rest! The broccoli was fresh, not frozen. My son had the Beef & Broccoli and proclaimed it a winner as well. Like another reviewer mentioned, I was also disappointed that they served in Styrofoam. They asked if we were eating in, so I don't understand why we couldn't have had regular (more environmentally friendly) plates. read more

Went to dinner at 7 o'clock there were 20 empty containers on the buffet all the main food was missing was not worth the new price

Good Chinese food. The place doesn't look all that impressive but the food is excellent. Sure, the buffet can get stale at the wrong time of day but that happens everywhere. Go at noon or dinner time and it is tough to beat. read more

The guy that gave the bad review then recommended that people go to the Chinese buffet doesn't know what he's talking about. Unlike the slop house up the street, this food is great. So if you like decent Chinese food, this would be the place. If you like that a place cooks and serves food fresh to order this is the place. Or you could be like that guy and go get crappy frozen crap that was cooked an hour ago. Also, its open on Christmas day, because the Chineses DGAF about having days off. read more

Don't even deserve the one star. They don't deliver unless it's to the hospital. The food is not worth going to get. I you have to go get your food, you should go to the restaurant just up the street. read more

Decent chinese restaurant. Nothing really special. I usually just get take out because it is very small. They do have a small buffet but it's almost never being used when I go in. I would say it's the second best place for Chinese next to Kam Wah read more

Food is fresh and tasty. Big menu. Dishes are well prepared, large proportions. Good mix of veg and meat. Would be a 5 if they didn't serve in Styrofoam. Very reasonable prices, a terrific deal. read more
