But it was very slow to arrive at our table that we had no choice but to order food off the menu even though we requested the dim sum cart after receiving the tea. Food was hot and tasted good. Kids wanted rice rolls which were not on the cart so we had to order from the kitchen which mean it came out after a bit more waiting. If you're looking to satisfy your dim sum craving this place is great. They also have large tables for big groups. And they take reservations.

The soup dumpling broth wasn't the heartiest we've had unfortunately so they were less than memorable for us but still worth a try if you don't know where else to get them!

I did get pork soup dumplings to stay, and there are a lot of tables with a nice ambience so dine in is a good option. When we arrived, what appeared to be the owner was greeting guests at the entrance. Since he was welcoming everyone and dressed differently from the rest of the staff, we assumed he was the owner. It was a great touch and immediately raised our expectations. Unfortunately, the experience did not fully match that first impression. We started with drinks: a glass of wine for me and an Old Fashioned for my wife. As happens too often in restaurants, the stronger drink was automatically assumed to be mine, and the drinks were delivered incorrectly. It's a small detail, but one that reflects attention--or lack of it. Bread arrived quickly, followed soon after by the food. I ordered the gnocchi with meat sauce. The dish was acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. My wife ordered the house seafood salad, which was very good--fresh, flavorful, and easily the best dish we had that night. Our waiter spoke limited English. Once he realized we also spoke his language, the service became noticeably more relaxed and somewhat overly familiar. He immediately tried to guide us toward the most expensive items on the menu. When I declined coffee after dinner, he responded by saying something along the lines of: "Well, that's your choice, but the coffee here is very good," which felt unnecessary. We also had a small issue with the Old Fashioned garnish. The orange peel looked unusual, so we asked for the drink to be replaced. The waiter did replace it, though he first tried to explain that what we thought were worms were simply marks on the fruit peel. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu, which the waiter promoted heavily as the best dessert to try. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. Instead of the classic layered presentation, it arrived more like a cup full of cream with a few pieces of soaked bread and very little coffee flavor. The issue was not just the dessert itself, but the expectations created when it was described. Bareli's is a beautiful restaurant with a great location and atmosphere, but the service details and execution didn't quite match the level suggested by the setting.

For the mains: 20oz Bone In NY Strip with sautéed spinach. Perfectly cooked to my liking and I loved that it was pre sliced for me. Spinach was lightly oiled and a perfect amount of garlic. Salmon Special - Pumpkin seed crusted with butternut squash. The plate was beautifully decorated and looked fantastic, but as soon as we cut into the salmon it was raw. It was a huge piece of salmon. So I'm sure that's what happened. Picture shown is the under cooked one that was taken back. I did not get a picture of the next. The manager saw immediately as my wife cut into it and we didn't have to say anything. He took the plate back and began making another. The dish came out and it was definitely well done this time. The piece of salmon was a lot smaller than the first. I'm sure it was to cut the cooking time down and get it out asap. The meal was fantastic. Just wish we were able to eat together. It happens. For dessert: Espresso Martini - Perfect. No baileys, 3 beans. Pistachio gelato - fantastic Zeppole - There were 3 different sauces for each one. It was amazing. Our waiter Nathan and the manager were extremely apologetic. They even came out with a complimentary limoncello spirit as we were settling up. I can't wait to dine here again to give Bareli's the 5 star it deserves.

The place is dimly lit but cozy. The bar is attached at the back and is a separate entrance, we have been there a couple of times too. The owner and the wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. We got hot sake, shrimp dumplings, soup and ginger chicken with brown rice. I could tell everything was made fresh, it took about 25 min for food to come out. The shrimp dumplings were so good, packed with shrimp. Mild flavor and the wrapper wasn't too thick which was nice. Looked hand made actually. My husband liked his soup but I think it was too spicy. It was a giant bowl! I wish they asked us how spicy to make it. The hot sake was decent and what you would expect, it was served in a cute tea pot. I loved my ginger chicken. The mushrooms in the dish were excellent, super big pieces and juicy. Not regular button mushrooms. It was a nice surprise. I love mushrooms. Chicken was tender. Flavor was good and ginger was not over powering. The nutty brown rice went well with it. I just thought there was too many onion pieces and scallions in it for me. All that for $50 is pretty good price. Will come back again!

Well I can honestly say I regret waiting 20 years haha !! But I was also waiting for the right company , but that's a story for another day . Anyways , here's how it went : The vibes in this place are simply AWESOME from the moment you walk in the door . They have festive and colored lights everywhere and a cozy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and right the way lovely Ray was very helpful , professional and knowledgeable of the menu . We had beef and shrimp Pad Thai and chicken pineapple rice . We drank beer and Blue Hawaiian. Played darks and got to chat with Ray , whom is a total blast to hangout with . We definitely recommend this place if you're looking for great food and a great vibe . It had chicken, barbecue pork, shrimp, and bean sprouts for nice variety. The chicken dumplings were also very yummy! Usually restaurant chicken dumplings I find to always be quite dry but these were moist and had some vegetables inside too. The chicken and green beans were a nice addition to our meal as well though I think I will choose another vegetable dish in the future due to being so protein packed for our selections. Service was pretty quick and there was ample seating available for dine-in. There is also a speakeasy bar in one of the doors inside the restaurant which was interesting.
