**BRING A SECOND BANK ACCOUNT** GOOD: Tasty for takeout Chinese; friendly employees BAD - The PRICES and hospitality for those seeking to sit. I typically don't push back on glowing reviews. Mine tend to be within 1/2 of the average - not here. I was looking for a convienient dinner while shopping in the Rolling Road shops and China Chef seemed to fit the bill - Chinese, tables, good reviews. I wanted to try a few things and expected prices to align with my local places. I ordered crab ragoon (standard app in most places), fried dumplings and an order of pork ho-fun ( mostly thick noodles with some pork) - 36.00. No thanks, I cancelled the two items and was left with the Ho-fun. Two others also reduced their orders - nearly all orders after and before me were in the mid 20s. One was 62.00. The Ho-fun was very good, but it's still Chinese take-out. The pandemic and inflation are not acceptable anymore to gauge customers. Chinese take-out competition is fierce and CC's prices aren't competitive. I also had to eat out of the take out bag - even plastic trays would have been a better touch. To sum up, their food is good but extremely expensive. I recommend straight take out if you go. For my hard earned dollars I am sticking with my local Chinese. The food is good but not worth that second bank account.

Gen tso chicken is my favorite here. Is it the best food around? Meh. Is it solid every time? Yes. Prices have gone up in the past year. Front register people are efficient and friendly.

Fried dumplings yummmmm!!! :)

I came here for carry out, and got a chicken with broccoli and an order of fried dumplings. The chicken broccoli was pretty standard, a tad too much oil in my opinion. The fried dumplings however were delicious!! They were filled with pork and veggies and you can tell that they were house made bc of the perfect texture of the skin, and great flavors. I will go back to try their other items, and maybe get 2 or 3 orders of those dumplings!

Low mein chicken, shrimp vegetables, dumplings steamed. Excellent

Unfortunately everything I ordered seemed greasy or oily. The food gave me indigestion and I will not be returning.

Food is good but a little pricey. They screwed up my last order but I ate it anyway because I was hungry and didn't feel like driving back.

Found in the back of The Hub Asian Food Hall, this is one of my go-to locations to get AYCE hot…read morepot. They serve it in individual pots and have a wide range of broths to choose from. Food: 4/5 My go-to is the Tom Yum and the broth is flavorful with a good amount of sour alongside the spice. The quality of the meat is good, but I just feel like there could be more options and consistency. For example, I am a fiend for enoki mushrooms and they never have them. My family also loves watercress and it depends on the day if they have them. They changed their winter melon tea to a plum tea as well. Service: 5/5 polite staff, no complaints! Just be aware you get up to grab your own meats/seafood/veggies as well as the sauces. The servers are there for the initial broth placement orders, drinks, and if you need additional help there are server assistance buttons at each table. Ambiance: Every time I have been here, the place is not too crowded or loud at all. Plenty of tables to seat 4, some partially enclosed tables for parties of 6-7, and a round table to accommodate 8. There is a TV in the center playing dramas or music videos but usually no audio. Parking: large shopping center parking lot, but it can be busy.

I've been to a few hot pot places, but nothing compared to Hot Pot King. It's easily the best place…read morefor Hot Pot in Baltimore County. From a wide range of broths, to the clean, buffet style option you can choose to get your food from instead of hoping the server brings it to you. And the complimentary fried chicken karage was great too! The inside is very relaxed and warm.

Awesome place! I had known about the locations in Rockville and nearby there, but that is a bit far…read morefor noodles (80min drive). So i was happy to see this place. It is still a bit far (35min), but doable. I also wasnt sure if i would be able to eat something because wheat noodles, but the staff were awesome enough to allow my substitution of wheat noodles for glass noodles in the dish i had chosen. I had originally made the nice lady very nervous with my request and she tried to convince me to try the dish that was advertised with the glass noodles, but i assured her that it would be fine as i normally eat noodles without soup. I ordered the 3 oil noodles with ground pork. It was very tasty. Especially after i added vinegar and the house chili oil. Definitely coming back.

I've visited a few times and keep coming back for the noodle soups. My go-to is the lamb noodle…read moresoup with a spicy broth, and it never disappoints--rich, flavorful, and packed with tender pieces of lamb. One of the highlights is the handmade noodles, which you can customize in thickness, from delicate angel hair to something as hearty as fettuccine. The menu has plenty of variety beyond soups, including dumplings, spring rolls, stir-fried noodles, and oil-tossed noodle dishes. I also tried the braised intestines on the side; while they were well-prepared, the texture wasn't quite for me--I'd probably enjoy them more if they were fried. Ordering is convenient, whether you prefer doing it in person, through the app, or at the kiosk. The space has a good number of tables for dining in, and there's even a piano if you know how to play. Overall, it's been a consistently enjoyable spot for lunch.

Came here to get some shrimp fried rice, shrimp yat, and shrimp egg rolls…read more I called the order in and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Chung Wah has been around for a minute: I remember coming here when it was a full service restaurant. Although it is now a carry-out, there was a table and few chairs if you wanted to eat there. The ambiance was like a traditional Chinese carryout -out: fast and efficient in taking and preparing orders. When I got there, I was greeted by a pleasant young lady and told her my order number (which came via text). It was ready in the time they stated. The shrimp Yat was just ok, the noodles were cooked well with a hard boiled egg. It was coated in a soy sauce infused sauce with a slightly sweet taste. The shrimp fried rice had SEVEN shrimp () along with peas and carrots, which I didn't know was in it because I detest those in my Chinese food and I just took them out (my bad...I should have asked). The shrimp egg rolls were good, but small and not greasy. Sorry I forgot to take pics of the food... All in all, the food was much better when it was a full service restaurant.

It is of good value, and I have yet to find a bad food item here. Staff are always friendly when I have come in. Kung Pao chicken is good. Chicken and broccoli is good. General Tso's was great.
