2.6.25 My hubby had lunch with his buddy and was sweet enough to order carryout for me. He ordered the honey chicken for himself and the general tso chicken for me. He got the wonton soup as the app and Jasmine rice and I got the spring roll and fried rice. He shared his leftover chicken with me and I shared a piece of my chicken with him. Our consensus was the general tso was tastier than the honey chicken. I thought my chicken was crispier and had better flavor. The spring roll was good and crispy too. The fried rice was bland so I had to add soy sauce.

Human legend is a wonderful restaurant to visit when you're near elicott city. They started off with complimentary crispy noodles. I love the crispy noodles and to get the equivalent of free chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant is a genius move. For lunch I got the paradise chicken that came with an egg roll. The egg roll didn't come with shrimp inside but rather beef! It was fantastic, again something more places should offer. The paradise chicken was great and I might want to switch out the broccoli for rice next time. Yeah was an option instead of water. Everything was served very quickly. The decor was typical for a Chinese restaurant and clean. Loved this place.

Szechuan Chicken - I love the veggie mix here. It's just celery, carrots and spring onion.

Same great food and service, different day. Sure I could find things to complain about if I tried, but why when I enjoy the experience overall and the food is excellent every single time. I mean, We drive from Abingdon to eat here. Always amazing.

We ordered the bottomless drinks for brunch and switched between Mimosas and French 75. For appetizers, we shared the Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs and Bang Bang Shrimp and really enjoyed both. For entrees, we got the Crab Cake Benedict, and Ahi Tuna Salad which were both ok. A nice location with overall good food and drinks.

Tried Offshore Collective again recently, and here was my experience…read more I got a young white dude for a waiter who didn't know much about the menu or what was what with the food he was also sloooooow and I think he only had 3 tables. It took 20 minutes to get 2 beers brought to my tables I ended up having to go get the waiter ask if my beers were ready and when we asked for crackers or bread, he told me that he couldn't bring it unless he charged $$$ me for it. Now that is ridiculous. I've never been charged for bread or even just crackers or something to nibble on while you order and wait for your food, but they have decided here that they're gonna start charging for that. Ridiculous!!!!!! and it started out the evening by pissing me off. So after I actually went to the bar to get my own drink, cause I got tired of waiting the guy..... he finally took our order and I ordered a beet salad thinking it had some kind of dressing with a little ranch on the side. Well, I got a salad with no dressing with a little dipper for ranch dressing and had to order regular dressing in addition. I think this was probably the dumb waiter fault for not making it clear to the kitchen that I wanted the salad with the dressing and a little ranch on the side. So blaming him... Second of all, my Date ordered the cauliflower steak, NOTE: couple of big problems. First of all you couldn't cut it with the butter knife that they gave you so it was pretty close to raw versus cooked and so she was trying to saw through it multiple times. When she did get a bite, it was SO OVER SPICY that It burned her tongue off and she ended up only being able to eat 1/2 of her entrée because it was so spicy so that was a bummer. ( not great if you're on a date, ) and I ordered the spaghetti and clams, there were a total of 4 clams in the whole dish, a bunch of chopped canned clams and only enough spaghetti to feed a 5 year-old also ......... it was very small, not very much flavor and for $27 I expected more. So overall, it was kind of disappointing as you can see and for that reason I don't think I'll be going bad and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else because it doesn't seem like they're on the game for the prices they charge. You guys need to pick it up a big notch ...... make your entrées worth eating or buying and improve your service. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Free parking in attached garage where you can walk right into the inside of the restaurant. Recently came here for dinner on Father's Day, first time trying Kona ribeye (flavored so its sweeter), had mine done medium rare. Was juicy, not overly chewy, good flavor. Lot of marbling. Had to cut off some big chunks of fat, but other than that was great. Added mushrooms for a surcharge which was well worth it. Their steak I included a side so I opted for spinach risotto, delish. Husband had his Kona ribeye done medium and enjoyed it. Had the smoked old fashioned and the manhattan, both great- manhattan was very strong and didn't even finish it (rare for me) not a bad problem to have. For dessert tried the seasonal PB Oreo cheesecake which was delish. Very filling portions. Only critique was that server was very pleasant but kept forgetting to bring certain things and had to be reminded.

The lobster fingers were crispy, flavorful, and so satisfying, while the grilled cheese birria was rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. I would order both again! (and I have!) I'll definitely be back!

The Food Market lost another star from me…read more Maryland crab soup with the cream of crab was delicious. It was easily in my top five but I don't have an official list. But it stopped there. We each got the chicken skewer dish. I don't remember the name but it was a kabob-ish dish. Although it was presented well, the chicken was bland. Even the sauce struggled to bring flavor to the meal. Our server was friendly and relatively attentive but did not look well put together. I know that sounds rude but I do not expect to see my server's belly peaking out under a shirt while I'm ordering. Also, the tables were a little too close together, which meant our server had to stand a little awkwardly close. From the delicious sandwich I had the first time I visited which is no longer on the menu, to the cold dishes we got during our previous visit, to the bland grilled chicken, I think we should give up. Oh, one more thing, the manager (?) was sprinkling chives on the soup from the service side of the line with his bare hands. Not cool.

Just basically sharing updated pics. Sadly, we had another incident with the bartender. Can't be sure if it's the same one from last time but the lack of communication about happy hour prices, his sour demeanor, and the obvious unwillingness to do a lil suggestive selling was a bummer. Fortunately, the manager on duty did an awesome job smoothing things out buttt I'm not able to confidently say this mishap was "not a deal breaker" this time. Seasons 52/Columbia just might be eliminated from our rotation. If I'm going to drive 45 minutes, it just has to be worth it and mediocre customer service is an absolute deal breaker for me.
