Really like that the dinners come with a portion of sweet and sour chicken.

The dining area is very limited; there are only two tables available and while the space is compact, it was noticeably clean and well-kept during our visit. One thing to note is that I didn't see a public restroom, so it's definitely more of a quick stop or takeout-style place than somewhere you'd plan to sit for a long meal. As for the food, it delivered exactly what you'd expect in a comforting way. I ordered the sesame chicken, which came out crispy and coated in a rich, slightly sweet sauce with just enough savory balance. The chicken stayed crunchy under the sauce, which is always a good sign, and the portion size was solid. My mom went with the sweet and sour chicken, and it was another classic done right. The sauce had that familiar tangy sweetness without being overwhelming, and the chicken pieces were crispy and tender inside.

Half of the brunch items were pastries, so I was kinda bummed about that. The Thai Mule I ordered was good and the Maple Donut was also decent! Service was very good and the place itself was cute and cozy! I'll be back to try some more!

You can get all the common dishes here but you can also get some unusual dishes that are very authentic. My grandson once ordered jelly fish. You can't get that at very many local restaurants. Another thing I like is that they have a couple of large round tables with lazy Susans. Our extended family sat at one of those tables once. It was fun putting the things we wanted to share on the lazy Susan and being able to spin it around and try what we wanted. It made for fun conversation talking about the different dishes. That was when our grandson ordered jellyfish. The restaurant is fairly small but the large tables make the restaurant good for groups. I think this would be an excellent place for a Yelp event. They have a lunch menu but you have to ask for it. It includes some of the popular Asian dishes for $9:95. They have smaller portions that come with a choice of soup or egg roll. Danny and I asked to see the lunch menu, but decided to order off the main menu. We split Crispy Tofu with garlic sauce and egg rolls. I liked the presentation of the egg rolls. They were cut diagonally and arranged nicely on the plate. The tofu dish was quite tasty. Next time, I plan to get Mei Fun. I have had it here before and loved the variety of flavors. The service wasn't terrible but it wasn't wonderful. We got our food in a timely manner, but we felt rushed to order and she didn't check to see if we needed anything or refill our water glasses. Service here has been excellent in the past. I am glad we came back to Chengdu and were reminded of how much we like it. We will be back soon.

We had a small group and were able to get a table right away. Our table had a lazy susan in the center which is great for groups. The service was efficient and our food came out quickly. Our waitress did check on us periodically and did refill drinks. The portion size of the food was good and a little salty. I enjoyed the green beans but they had a little bit of a lemony flavor that had a weird after taste. I think the Kung Pao could have used a little more heat. The price for the food was decent.

Have you been to GiGi's??!!…read more My family and I stopped by GiGi's for my daughter's birthday dinner tonight after reading the comment section of a friend's post on social media. We live two hours outside of Tulsa with zero options for authentic Chinese Cuisine. Please take my review to heart and know that when I say this place is AMAZING, I mean it with every taste bud! We've been fortunate to experience authentic Chinese cooking in China and our meal tonight transported us back to our cherished travels! We were spoiled with spring rolls, crab stuffed wontons, and fried dumplings to start. The appetizers came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Our main dishes were the beef flat noodles from the authentic menu section, cashew chicken, chicken lo mein and kimchi ham fried rice. Every chopstick full was mouthwatering and enjoyed to the fullest. I assume but don't know for sure that GiGi's is family owned. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and cheerful. We thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with her. The cook even came out to greet us which was such a personal and appreciated level of service that's just not provided anymore. Inside the restaurant was spotless and very comfortable. There's a nice selection of booths and tables. The next time you're out and about and wondering where you should stop for lunch or dinner, GiGi's is without a doubt the answer! You won't regret it. We're already planning our next visit and we're bringing our friends with us!

My group and I ordered about 13 dishes total, and that didn't even make a dent in their big menu. Overall, the food was good, the vibes were nice, the staff were nice but the service was a bit slow. As soon as we got there, they stayed getting very busy, so we do have a little grace to the staff. There were some standout dishes the I will absolutely get again if I come back, some decent dishes that weren't bad or amazing, and some dishes that will not be ordering again. Must try: - Soup dumplings were spectacular, very flavorful and greatly priced. - Shrimp dumplings in chili oil, the sauce wasn't really a chili oil but a sweet soy sauce, I wasn't mad because it was delicious and the shrimp was meaty and flavorful. - Beef flat noodle stir fry was delicious, stand out dish. The noodles were flat and wide and flavorful, and the beef was tender. It had this amazing charred wok hei flavor that elevated the dish, and very reasonably priced. - Fish fillet with eggplant in clay pot was delicious as well. Flavor profile is more on the subtle side, but the fish and eggplant worked together so well and were very soft and tender. The sauce was this light black peppered soy sauce that had a hint of sweetness, amazing over rice. - Fried rice was delicious as well. They cooked it in a WOK so it had that charred wok hei flavor that I've never tasted at any other restaurant. That extra flavor alone makes it worth trying. Dishes that missed: - mapu tofu had to much sezchuan, it was a overwhelming flavor and it overpowered the entire dish leaving a numbing soapy sensation. It didn't have much flavor besides the sezchuan. - Braised pork belly, I wished it was more tender and had more flavor, it was salty and didn't have much depth to the sauce. If you're Asian, then you're very familiar with the various braised pork belly dishes and the complex flavors they have, but this one didn't hit.
