Service was terrible. Food seemed reheated & then before leaving the waitress then asked for tips like if it was a mandatory thing to freaking leave tips. Also was telling us to tip in a very Ridiculously rude way demanding her tips. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT read more

Came through the area today and gave this place another shot. Was better than last time, but still basic, no sushi or crab etc. Adding a star to my previous review, it did seem better. read more

food was okay a bit over cooked but my problem is the safety measures ,I get to the restaurant super excited and too my luck the parking lot is horribly slippery and I got really injured an currently trying to not worry wether what it takes for me to enjoy a good meal while constantly getting injured because restaurantes like these don't put worry to how their customers enter and go out I will sadly be having to contact my lawyer . read more

Scary. If you are looking to break an addiction to Chinese food, or food in general, I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking to break up with a girlfriend, this is the place. If you need to test the effectiveness of your Hep C shot prior to travelling, this is the place. read more

Old food. Disappointment. Customer service was ok. Maybe we came too late 7:30pm but the food had been sitting for some time. It was a waste of money. read more

I wish there was an option to give zero stars but I can't because "everybody need one star" these guys don't deserve the one star I have to give them. First make the place a little smaller because I don't think you need a giant restaurant for the cockroaches to eat. Second get the cockroaches out of there. Third make good that a dog might even eat, the flavors of the food are just like licking paper dry and no flavor. Unless you like cockroaches to eat don't eat here read more

This article from the Wenatchee World says it all. Health officials suspend license of China Buffet By Rachel Schleif World staff writer Posted November 15, 2008 WENATCHEE -- Health officials issued a one-week suspension of the Wenatchee China Buffet's operating license after the restaurant failed four health inspections in two years. The Chelan-Douglas Health District said the restaurant consistently violated temperature standards, which require cold food be chilled to at least 41 degrees, and hot food be heated to at least 140 degrees, said Marc Marquis, environmental health director for the health district. "We've never had a restaurant have four unsatisfactory inspections," Marquis said. He said the suspension is "more or less punitive. We've offered them technical assistance, we've recommended a risk-control plan so they don't have these problems, and we've assessed a $500 civil penalty to get their attention. At this point it's really our only option left if we're going to enforce the health code." Why they waited a full week after publishing this article to close the restaurant is beyond me. read more

I really like this place, but they're either having a staffing issue or something isn't right. I had to inform them about two food choices that had empty chafing pans. Isn't that their job to keep them full? Then one of the hostesses had her four children at a back table and was caring for them while waiting tables. Children fussed with each other the entire time I was there. Mom/Hostess was speaking to her children very loudly in her native language from wherever (across the restaurant) she was clearing a table. Seemed odd to me. Food was hot and tasted good. Price was about $12.50 for dinner and a Pepsi. read more

Worst Chinese buffet I've ever experienced. I ignored the reviews thinking maybe people expected too much at a place like this....let me tell you.....pay attention to reviews!!! The food was lousy at best. Signs posted saying uneaten food would be charged but I thought it pertained to take out...maybe not. Not really sure. I left behind a full plate of food cause I couldn't stomach it. 2 lunches and 2 pepsi's...26 bucks. And I still left hungry. Never again. read more

Food was poorly prepared. Much of it not even hot. One of the worst Chinese meals I've experienced. Quality and preparation poor. Am surprised this restaurant can remain in business. Will never eat there again. read more

Owner was screaming at a little child(who was probably like 4-5)for some unknown reason. Then proceeds to scream and berated the little girls family (borderline harassment of the customer). She had no chill and kept to raise her voice. The family was about to walk out until she chased them down and made them pay for their meal. She then continued to berate the family once they left. She also turned on here staff which made the experience very unsatisfactory. Food was alright tho,5/5 totally would recommend the food but this experience was awful. read more

There are signs posted threatening to charge you for uneaten food left on plate. Food was sub-standard at best.

"Any excess food you DO NOT finish in the restaurant will be considered take-out and an extra charge will be applied." - China Buffet This really annoys me. REALLY ANNOYS ME. Of course, didn't see it until we were already seated and had our plates. Part of the fun of Chinese Buffet is trying new things. There are many, many dishes to choose from! I wanted to try them all (especially for over $10/plate) but could not. Afraid if I didn't like something, where would I hide the food I left on the plate? Take to to the bathroom and flush it, paranoid of getting charged for it. Oh but with all the workers hovering around, they would see me take the plate in there.... Sigh... read more

My sister's and I have been going here for years, but I will never return. We always sit in a booth because they are more comfortable than their awful chairs, but today, the waitress insisted on telling me that I couldn't sit there because I'm too fat. I thought that I misheard and she repeated herself and then said "you too heavy" very loudly so everyone could hear. Clearly this was humiliating. I have been a customer for years and will never come back. I told her she was rude and she responded "oh well". I couldn't believe that she was treating a customer that way. read more

I honestly don't get why this buffet got bad reviews. The food is warm at all times, the service is welcoming, the food does have flavor and I didn't break up with my boyfriend for bringing me here. My favorite has to be the broccoli, orange chicken, mushrooms, peppered chicken, and the chow mein. Come on in and enjoy your meal at a very low price as well,$7.99 for Adults and for children less than $7.99. read more

China Buffet - Chinese Near Me - Wenatchee, Washington

Perfectly adequate Chinese buffet. The food was fresh, and like many have pointed out, you could actually tell the difference between each individual dish by flavor and texture. Nothing really stood out as exceptional, but there wasn't anything particularly great either. It was clean, the servers were attentive. Both bonuses. What threw me off were the frequent signs of 'what you don't eat you get charged for'. While I understand that waste is often a problem with a buffet, it certainly took all the joy out of trying a variety of dishes. I was afraid to leave more than a few grains of rice on my plate, so I only had a handful of dishes, and tiny scoops of them at that, so I could at least sample a variety of foods. The owners might want to reconsider their methods to discourage food waste. read more

the food was ok but the service SUCKED big time. We had a large group event there and we were not able to sit together. When we left it was what your not going to tip us. we had been going there for years Next year we will be going else where. read more

A friend took me here the first time and I have no problem going back. The food is fresh, nothing looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamps for hours. The sesame green beans were crunchy like they are supposed to be, each entree had its own distinct flavor and texture. There were lots of selections of fresh vegetables and lighter choices. The waiters were really attentive and you can't beat the price for food that is this good. read more

I've have been to several Chinese buffets and this one is the best I have ate at. The food was fresh and new trays of food were brought in regularly. Service was great and the price reasonable. It sure made up for the lousy time we had staying at the cove on fish lake. I strongly recommend. read more

Worst buffet ever! Service was horrible. I never got a refill on my drink and never got my bill. Had to go up to them to say I wanted to pay. They were all sitting down eating and didn't care about the customers. Would not go their ever again read more

The worst buffet I have ever been!! We had a dinner there today and me and my husband got a food poisoning, vomiting and diarrhea, literally the less thing we expected to get the New year eve! The customer service is lower than average, the quality of food is bad, should have left when we came but we had 5 hungry kids with us so we decided to stay. We should have gone to Applebees across the road:(( Never come back again!!!! read more

Absolutely disgusting, not fresh, filthy environment.!!, plates were dirty, I had to kinda flip through the plates to find a clean one to use, the salt and pepper shakers were filthy ( there was something black inside my salt shaker), food was not hot!! Left and will not return!! The health department need's to pay them a surprise visit. Someone is going to get seriously ill eating there. read more

Love the fresh food. The employees have a wonderful attitude. Always something for everyone. I keep coming back. Food is half off on Thursdays. read more

Horrible. Rude staff, uncomfortable seating and outrages prices. First time me and my fiancé had gone there our server seated us and she asked us what we want to drink I had taken a minute to decide and she was rolling her eyes and giving a bad attitude. We had left before our drinks even came to the table. Would not recommend going to this China buffet. read more

The worst place I've ever been too has a terrible smell and bad dry meats never going back

They have posted hours that state they are open until 9:30 We arrived at 8:45 and they had already broken down the steam tables. This was a Friday night. I guess they had more important things to do than operate their business. read more

Looking for disappointment? Mediocre food? A server to lecture your kids if they don't finish their food? Then, this is your place! The food is mediocre as well as the service until things took a turn in the midst of our dinner! One of the servers dare tell my little niece as I was away, "Don't take too much food if you're not going to eat it". First and foremost, she is 5; we are paying for our food; if I go get food with intent to eat, but it takes like crap... Then we will not be forced to finish it! Sever continued to talk to my Dad in an unpleasant manner while he was eating. My Dad several times has asked the server to leave so he can enjoy what remains of a mediocre dinner but she wouldn't because she was insistent of making a point... He gives the the hand gesture telling her to 'shooo' away. If that wasn't enough because the manager was apparently not in the building, my husband goes to speak the the cashier to clear this nonsense. The cashier subliminally disregards my husband while he shares his concern. He then intentionally turns to the waiting customers in line and shared our experience with them. Finally, it got her attention and she went to address the server. Mind you, I am sending this review as I my family concludes what remains on their plates. Being from Seattle and was excited to find an Asian inspired restaurant... Only to be completely disappointed that this is what Wenatchee has to offer for a buffet! We will not return. We not recommend. We will, write this review to keep those with families and little kids away!!! read more

It is weird that this place has many poor reviews and yet is one of the busiest places to eat in town. I don't eat there all the time, but when I do I sometimes take out. It's a great buffet. Sometimes they are out of a few things, but not usually. The decor and service is hardly first class, but who cares. The food is great and I get a free fortune cookie...lol read more

Service was terrible the guy wouldnt take my plate off the table because it had some awfully cooked clams and some old soggy broccoli I couldnt stomach. None of the food was fresh. The fresh food wasnt very satisfying and they charged me for the clams I could not stomach as take out because it was not finished. Im not picky when it comes to dining at all but this place is on my never go to again list =/ read more

We used to be regulars of this place. Actually, we used to really like it. It wasn't amazing food or anything, but the quality/price ratio was great. We were extremely satisfied, especially with the dinner items. But lately they've been cutting down on the items and on the quality as well. Everything is much cheaper made, and it shows. Now the food here is as bad as the one in East Wenatchee. The rice is tough, the egg rolls are bland, the meat choices have gone down... Regrettable, especially given how few buffets there are around here. read more

This place is disgusting! There rip offs! This last time that I went I went with my boyfriend his brother and our nephew ! Our nephew is 5 years old and he loves the toy machine they have ware you can put a few quoters in and you get a toy or sticker or whatever, well I was with our nephew getting a toy and the lady was asking him if he would the expensive ones or if he'll like the cheap ones! If I'm willing to even spend that kind of money in such little things! I told him to get one of each, now I know I shouldn't have but the lady pist me off by the way she was saying it so I took him to sit down after we got our food! Towards the end when we head to pay our bill they insisted we tip them! Excuse me?! T.I.P? This place is far from getting a tip out of me or my spouse. The lady was rude from the beginning, they only served me water. Which I had to ask 3 different times to refill. I will never come here again and not even recommend this place there food wasn't even that great! And you better eat all your food or they'll tell you other wise! if your looking for something cheap but good I recommend WOK N' ROLL or Safeway Chinese. read more

Worse buffet ever. EVERYTHING WAS EMPTY with no attempt to refill. What few crumbs were there were dried up and nasty. When asked at register how things were, I explained this was the first time I have left a buffet hungry!! They said next time come in earlier. I said don't worry there won't be a next time. WOW! read more

where should I start? the ac not working? the fact my mother, and aunt were charged full price instead of senior price? or parts of something were on the stir fry station? or the fact the food was lukewarm on the buffet and cold by the time I got to my seat. I could not finish my plate #1. the ladies room a mess poorly stocked, and one of the toilets was missing a seat. finishing off the afternoon with my aunt throwing up! Do I want to ever come back?
