We were unlucky to visit this place for the first time on a day when it was super overcrowded - apparently this was "the" place to go after high school graduation! Minimal service as you would expect from a buffet restaurant. The glass and sills of the wall divider next to our table were dirty. About a third of the food selections were not labeled, and the ambiance was completely nonexistent. However there was a very large variety of food and it was fresh and tasty and I guess that is what is most important. Also the prices are SUPER cheap. read more

I am a bit surprised by some of these reviews. I have been a customer for several years now and this is my favorite local Chinese restaurant. I have never experienced any bad issues and always leave highly satisfied. The food is very good and the variety is awesome. The place is not dirty just a little worn by time. The price is right and I come for the food not the decor. I had a terrific lunch today and will definitely come back again. Don't listen to the haters until you try it for yourself. read more

We found this place acceptably clean, service was good and most of the food was well prepared. Except a couple of pieces of the chicken fingers I happened to chose was over fried to the point that the chicken was bone dry and not able to eat it- but there was other pieces perfectly cooked. Fried rice could use some more seasoning and the noodles were not very hot, but I have found this a lot with buffet set ups. read more

We walked into the China Buffet out of the blue as we had been in the mood for Chinese food. Our appetite was quickly lost when we tried a vast array of everything they were offering. The thing that got me was when I saw King Crab legs at this $8 buffet. Speaking of crab, we unanimously decided that the crab rangoon had no crab in it at all and was just fried sour cream. Overall, the food tasted plain and blah. We were shocked to see the sushi was served in the same packaging in which it was shipped. The deserts were extremely random and ranged from cut fruit to melted ice cream. The place was a zoo on a Saturday at 4. Last night, we decided to come here since it's near. My friend ordered a hot tea and I order a glass of water. As I pour the hot tea into the cup it spilled everywhere because there's a hole in the tea pot, and they brought me a bottle water which they're going to charge me. I told them to change it and they did. The worst buffet ever went to. When we got the food it wasn't good. It was cold and old. They didn't bring out new ones, and even the sushi have been sitting there for hours. All the fruits seem old and doesn't look good. Wanted to pay and leave. It takes so long for them to come with the check. Came home with a stomach ache all day. I don't recommend anyone to come to this place because of the food. This place is one of the best Chinese buffet I have been to. The food is tasty with plenty of choices. The staffs are courteous and they will let you eat (pig out) in peace. This place even has real ice cream for dessert. I travelled 30 mins to come here when I could have gone to my local Chinese buffet which is about 10 minutes away. The last time we were at this restaurant was probably 2 - 3 years ago. Back then the food was good and we thought that it is still good. So we decided to go there for dinner yesterday (04/09/13). We were seated right away since the place wasn't busy. Then i went to the buffet station to bring food for my two kids. I noticed that the food looks like it was sit there for a long time and not fresh. Anyway, i put few things on the plate for my sons. Once i tatsed it, i had to spit out right away. The food tasted very bad and not hot (temperatur) at all. So I went back to the buffet station to try something else. Unfortunately nothing taste good so we just decided to pay and leave. We end up went somewhere else for dinner. All together we were in there only 10 - 15 minutes. We didn't really eat anything since nothing look good or taste good. I've been to hundreds of Chinese buffets; i must say i'm easy but this place made the list for the worst buffets. There were 6 people in my party. It wasn't peak time but we had to wait long to be seated. The server only brought out the drinks when we were already haft way eating. Furthermore, no one cared to clear dirty dishes that my uncle had to stack up bus carts by himself. What kind of service is that? Don't go in if you don't want to be served by rude people just stand there and do nothing or on their phones all the time. Too bad I would have to rate 0 star for this place. read more

I've eaten here twice, once with a group of women, and once with my spouse. I won't be going back a third time. The first time was blah. It was lunch, and the selections were pretty basic for a chinese buffet. If the food isn't fried, then it has a heavy sauce added to it. There are basic american items like onion rings, french fries, and the requisite pudding. The salad is bagged lettuce.There is an ice cream freezer with a few good options. The second time (dinner) was worse. The service was pathetic, we couldn't get our water refilled, even though the restaurant was less than half full. The food sat in the warmers a long time. It was worse than before. You pay extra for dinner because there is lobster on the bar. The lobster is scary looking, and steamed. It continues to be steamed sitting on the table. My spouse wanted crappy chinese, and even he was disappointed in how crappy it was. The fried foods weren't very crispy, due to the steam tables. All in all, we won't be going back, and I would recommend somewhere else. read more

This place is great for kids. It's our 5 and 7 year olds favorite place to eat. We've taken a lot of their friends here and not one has not found something they love. Yes it has all the normal greasy fried "Chinese" American food. But they also have fresh fruit and some basic sushi. One very picky little boy we brought found hot dogs and fresh strawberries to love. Considering how many strawberries he ate we got our money's worth. Really we don't come for great food, we come for good food at a good price. We've tried other buffets and this is by far the best. I've gotten so tired of spending almost $100 for our family of four to eat out and feeling that the food was only OK, at least this place has OK food at an OK price to match. read more

The service sucked so bad. Right when we walked in we weren't greeted and they weren't friendly at all. We ate for about 20 mins or less and the waiter already brought us our check (without a fortune cookie) AND after waiting 10 mins for our change the waiter never came back and just took the rest as a tip they didn't deserve. Had not been here in a very long time (10 years). A friend wanted to meet here on a Monday night. The buffet had many choices, but very few looked appetizing. I took a spring roll, some lo mein noodles, some chicken (I think it was general gauo's) and a piece of sushi. None of the food was flavorful or very fresh; the noodles were the best of the bunch. When the waitress came by, I asked for a Malibu & pineapple juice; she did not know what this was, I explained it to her. May have been a language barrier, but this is a common drink, so I was a little surprised she didn't know what it was. I forget the exact price of the buffet, but my drink was only $4.75; a good price in my book. My friend & I chatted for about 1/2 hour before we went to the buffet, and they were in no hurry to kick us out. Still, I am less than impressed with this place. Would come for a couple of cheap drinks if someone else suggested coming here, but I'd rather pay a little more for good Chinese food in the Merrimack Valley area(China blossom, lee Chen, etc). read more

A pretty decent Chinese buffet where you can get basically anything that you're looking for as it pertains to the style. Nothing is out of this world, but for around $10 at lunch time, one really can't complain. Some of the other Chinese food establishments in the area always leave me with a stomach ache from the grease and uber-sweetness and this place really didn't bother me. The environment is nice with the more open seating and the large fish tanks. Stop in and fill your Americanized-Chinese food craving without leaving a dent in your wallet. read more

Definitely the worst food I have ever tried to digest. Went there in August after a day at the beach and was feeling chilly so I really wanted some egg drop soup. The atmosphere was off and the food was even further away from this planet. The soup had an indescribable taste of grossness that even a Buddhist Monk couldn't keep quiet about. It was kind of heart breaking after that. If a place has bad egg drop soup...one of the simplest items on the bar next to bread, then that says a lot about the rest of the food. The food tasted either bland, old or just not tasteful. I was very disappointed. We couldn't get refills without pretty much shooting off a flair gun. After the soup and one plate.... I gave up. Nothing was edible and the options were slim. DON'T GO!!! My suggestion, bust a left and go to the Texas Roadhouse next door! read more

We visited for the first time last week. All of the food was hot and plentiful. They had a prime rib roast that was perfect, pink in the middle and well done on the edges. The crab legs were hot and good. I'm glad we found this place, and will visit there again soon. read more

Been going there for years but recently have been having bad experiences with this restaurant. The place smelled terrible, like urine, the last time we were there. The service was awful. They let plates pile up and the tea was luke warm instead of hot. They also mix the new food with the old that had been sitting there for who knows how long. I love the food here! All you can eat and better than most casino buffets. My only complaint is the people in the bar/lounge. Half the people there are regulars that pretty much set the mood of the place. If they don't like you, you will never be happy or comfortable there! Half of that half seems to hate the other half, so if you are friendly with one half, then the other half will hate you. You better stay with the half you chose, because if you cross over and try to be nice to the other half, they will all hate you and all bets are off. Don't talk too loud next to the old people in there (especially some old guy named Ray) or they will treat you bad. "This is not a young people bar with music", only sports on the small 32" TVs. You see, these regulars pay the bartenders rent and if someone in that circle doesn't like you, then they will all including the bartender treat you bad. Bottom Line: Stay out of the bar and you will enjoy this place. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars but one will do I guess. I came here on a Friday night with my cousins and this place was HORRIBLE! They crammed the 4 of us in a tiny booth while they sat couples in much bigger booths our waitress Cindy was very rude she didn't even say Hello, just came to the table and mumbled something we assumed she was asking our drink order. The variety of food was low and also the quantity. They didn't even have any kind of rice available for a while. We told the girl up front that only 3 out of 4 of us were eating so not to charge for the 4th plate she said OK. As we were eating our waitress was pacing up and down giving us bad looks as if she wanted us to hurry up and leave so she can clear the table. Then as if this experience couldn't get any more pleasant there was a dead spider stuck to the inside of the cup my cousin was drinking out of! Wtf?! Then when we got our bill after our first round of food she charged us for 4 plates when we said only 3. Then she charged us for an extra drink and when i told her about the mistake she very rudely grabbed the receipt out of my hand said "I go fix" but of course with an attitude. Hope she had fun cleaning the mess we left for her on the table. Never coming back to this buffet. Horrible service! read more
