My partner ordered the avocado toast which was tasty, but it was more like a guacamole toast with a hard boiled egg which was a little awkward. Nonetheless, this business is on the come up and I can't wait to go back!

Delightfully fluffy, both the shredded chicken and the tortilla. Tasty beans (fully pureed, not stiff) and rice. DW went with her usual, chilis rellenos. The red sauce was unusual but very tasty.

Our waiter, Jesus, was awesome - friendly, attentive, and really helpful with the menu. We ordered the quesabirrias and... wow. They've got a huge menu with plenty of options, but honestly, I'd go back just for that combo again. Only regret is I ate it too fast to get a picture . Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Most of the menu items are Tex-Mex but there are also burgers, ribs and wings. There were only two vegetarian options: a veggie burrito and fried cauliflower "wings". I was curious about the cauliflower "wings" so I ordered that. I was expecting the cauliflower to be fried or look like wings. However, the cauliflower was just baked and barely cooked. It was served with dipping options, celery and carrots. I ate the cauliflower but I was disappointed in the dish. I could easily have made this at home. The agua fresca jamaica drink made from hibiscus flowers was good.

Above that it says the sides are a side salad or two buttermilk biscuits. I asked for the sirloin to be rare and maybe medium rare as long as it is very, very pink inside. They delivered a well-done sirloin steak tip with broccoli and the grilled mushrooms and onions. No side salad. No corn and no Redskin mashed potatoes. When I complained, which meant I had to leave my table to find somebody because they never came to check on me, they brought the side salad 15 minutes later. When I complained again, they finally brought the 4 ounces of mashed potatoes. And to boot, the ice tea was probably mini mini hours old as it was so strong that I couldn't drink it. I only give this one star because I can't do half.

They're about half the size as a regular empanada so you know what that means half the calories. Lol they come in pineapple pumpkin and apple. Each flavor was very tasty. The thing I like about empanadas is that they're not too sweet and these were just like that. I especially like the apple filling. It had a little bit of what seems to be cinnamon and it was again not too sweet, but perfectly sweet. Of course, and why am I the thing that makes an empanada great is also the crust. It was perfectly crispy on the outside. He's empanadas are the superstars! Another reason I love this place is because they're training people who have disabilities for employment. I had Chile Riano's with beans and rice. Everything tasted like the Mexican food that I love in Tucson. The portions are pretty large for the Rihanna's and then the sides were not overwhelming just right. I got to chill Reynolds and I ended up taking one home. I definitely recommend you giving this place to try especially because of what they do for the community. The prices were very inexpensive as well. If you're looking for a fun day trip and then you want a good meal this is a great place to stop while supporting the community.
