Staff is friendly, has good food, and has a good atmosphere! Best restaurant in all of nogales

So I ordered the sirloin steak tips which says is served with grilled onions and mushrooms and served with corn and Redskin mashed potatoes. Above that it says the sides are a side salad or two buttermilk biscuits. I asked for the sirloin to be rare and maybe medium rare as long as it is very, very pink inside. They delivered a well-done sirloin steak tip with broccoli and the grilled mushrooms and onions. No side salad.No corn and no Redskin mashed potatoes. When I complained, which meant I had to leave my table to find somebody because they never came to check on me, they brought the side salad 15 minutes later. When I complained again, they finally brought the 4 ounces of mashed potatoes. And to boot, the ice tea was probably mini mini hours old as it was so strong that I couldn't drink it. My Oreo shake was nasty. The customer service was really bad. It took 30 min or more to take out our food. Some of our food was missin.

Excellent experience here this morning with my family. I was excited to see an IHOP after a long morning drive, and they got us (party of 6) seated, ordered and fed in under a half hour. We were all happy with our meals and the service we received. 5 stars well deserved today! read more

If it's the International House of Pancakes, why can't I eat the walls?! This IHOP is such a great location! It's a beautiful building, located right off the freeway, just a few miles from the Mexican border. Truly international! The food here is fantastic! I had some wonderful pancakes, which were fluffy and warm. They offer a wide array of syrups to get that international flavor. Each syrup flavor takes my taste buds to a different international destination. I always imagine I'm in Norway when using the blueberry syrup, or in Savannah, Georgia while sampling the butter pecan syrup. The original syrup makes me think I'm in the woods of Vermont, while he boysenberry syrup makes me feel like I'm out west in California like a movie star. The strawberry syrup seems more French than anything else. Sometimes, I like to go really exotic, and mix them all together, to honor the cultural mixing pot that America is. The bacon is crispy, but not too crispy. It's got a nice crunch to it, and comes in long strips. The coffee was non-stop. They even left the carafe on the table for our convenience. Perhaps they'd heard of my coffee drinking prowess. The eggs were fluffy, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and fast. They served with a smile, and made sure that everything was perfect with our dining experience. I really appreciated the personal touch and the "Good morning" we got while coming in. The parking is ample, and picked up. There's a bit of pleasant landscaping in the parking area, and it's easy to get in and out of the dedicated parking lot. I'm not sure if the International House of Pancakes is really in other countries, but this location is so close to the international border, it really makes this IHOP a significant one. read more

I would have gave them 0 stars. Very slow cooks We waited about a good 30min for our food when it had just been seating there and got cold. The waiter did not bring all our food at the same time I was missing my toast and he did not bring it to me until I was already about done with my plate. I also asked for napkins that he had forgot until I had to reminded him. Bad service would not eat here again! read more

I came to IHOP for international pancake day and I went in expecting it to be busy so I kept an open mind, however I was still disappointed with the experience. Firstly, I was seated and waited about 10 minutes to have my order taken, and in those 10 minutes I watched as 4 other tables who were seated after me had their orders taken before me. Once I finally had my order taken, it took another 5 minutes to get my drink, which was served in a dirty glass. Again I was understanding because there is heavier customer flow today and dishes have to be washed more quickly. But then, when my pancakes came out, they were also served on a dirty plate. I'm giving this experience two stars out of five because again, I am understanding that today is one of the busiest days for the employees but on a regular day this would definitely be a one star experience. read more

I've eaten at this place several time unfortunately. Each time they ask me what I want to eat before I am able to open the menu, sorry I didn't google the IHOP menu before walking in the door. When I said I just say down, can I have a minute, they get a attitude and walk off. Today was the worse, I asked for a side of pancakes with my omelette and was told I could have it because that's not the way it works. I could only have the side provided (fruit) or pancakes. I told them I wanted both. You must of thought I asked for the moon.... Basically it's the only place next to my hotel within walking distance.... so my options are limited. They took my pancakes off my meal, I said put them back on and I'll pay for them. They argued with me until I said "please put the pancakes back on my ticket"...... the staff is horribly trained. read more

I loved it. The waitress was very pleasant and very accommodating to my rare unsettled mood. (This diet is killing me!) I ordered and received exactly what I wanted quickly and enjoyed every bit of it. Honestly some of the best scrambled eggs with cheese that I have had in a long time.! read more

We have been coming to this IHOP location for 6 yrs now and have never had a bad meal, we are usually after breakfast or early lunch, the food is always prepared correctly, comes to the table hot and the staff is always friendly and oh so polite. It is so clean you would think that they had just opened. We really love this place and their staff. The waitress and food were on point. Very attentive and of high quality. The issue for me came in at around 10:45 PM when the manager went to every one of the 4 tables that were seated and told them. and us, that they would be closing soon. Let me just mention that the IHOP website listed the location was open 24 Hours. Then to basically be kicked out by the MANAGEMENT was ridiculous. I Manage a restaurant myself and I would never treat my customers like that. We keep your business afloat and I hope you remember that the next time you kick people out when they're just having coffee. I would hope that the manager and location seriously improve their customer service. They're servers and food has always been great but the issue seems to come from higher up. read more

My experience in IHop. 2018 (sigh) I'm lactose intolerant I ask for a plain Burger next thing you know they put cheese in my "Plain burger" that's what they said . I asked for another plain one and when they give it to me they said it was "Plain" again when I checked my so called "plain" burger they just flipped the meat over and when I flipped it I saw CHEESE. I went for a good week vacation with my family, starving and driving for 5 hrs. We were ready to eat anywhere, we crossed the border and bumped into IHOP . We came for Friday night fish fry and had a very nice experience. The fish was good, the fries were crispy and everything was tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient.
