He literally came back with the eggs cooked to perfection! After talking with him, he mentioned they had a location close to my job over in Ryan Ranch area Hwy68 and York!! Perfect! I called during the weekend to find out where they were. We drove out to Marina at the end of Del Monte Blvd on the Exit of HWY 1 and picked up a few orders of Chilaquiles and my wife really liked their Tacos! Thank you for your exceptional hospitality and great food!! See you soon! Maybe tomorrow Sorry I don't have a pic on Chilaquiles I ate them but I'll post one next time!

The tacos were nicely crispy (not soggy), full of flavor, and came in a set of 3 which was perfect. Eclectic, vibrant and delicious pitstop on the outskirts of Monterey. Stopped in heading back to SF…read morefrom Monterey and I'm so happy I did! The Power Plant Coffee and Store- which is directly next to the RinCon & Food Lab truck, has a plethora of plants on the inside- with an artsy, welcoming vibe. The exterior is spacious- with ample seating and unique artwork. To eat, I got the cheeseburger with truffle fries. The cheeseburger was outstanding, the smash patties had crispy, lacy edges and a balanced amount of salt. The cheese was creamy and sharp while the chili depended the flavor profile, giving a smokey, hearty tang to the burger. The buns were buttery and warm and the lettuce was fresh and crunchy. The whole thing was incredible. The service was conversational, friendly and matched the approachability of the restaurant itself.

Having said that you will find them creating excellent cuisine take away style outside The Power Plant Cafe. A locale I have Yelped in the past. Check out their days and hours as they sometimes vary. Now onto the food, tonight's menu was somewhat more limited as it was a special evening event. Featuring a Christian worship team providing wonderful soul filled spirit infused music. I chose the fish tacos, and my husband the burger special. Now I have sampled fish tacos all over the Monterey Peninsula and these were by far some of the tastiest I ever had the pleasure of sampling. The fish, rock cod was nicely crisped, and the slaw was crunchy with a wonderful avocado salsa with red onions. It came with a yogurt dill sauce I opted out of which they were more than accommodating to do. YUMMY, and two is plenty, and filling. My husband enjoyed his beautifully presented burger, seriously like something out of a Cuisine Magazine (see photo) and this was accompanied by some very flavorful and crunchy home made chips. Which my husband was kind to share.....a few. Way better than your standard side of fries. 5 Star all the way from ordering inside the Power Plant to picking it up from personable Martha and finding a nice table inside the fantastically decorated cafe. Cannot get enough of the casual and comforting vibe that can be found at this establishment. Partnership Extrodinaire, let's hope Rincon & Co. Food Lab chooses to stay at this locale for a while. I can hardly wait to come back and sample one of Martha's next level pastries. Be sure to stop by for a coffee or some stellar cuisine you will be pleased that you did.
