The sesame seed bun was soft, produce was fresh, cheese perfectly melted, and the patty was well-seasoned and decently juicy. That said, it needed more sauce and overall juiciness to really push it over the top. A little extra flavor punch would've made a big difference. The Elvis Burger (7.5/10) was similar: solid but not exceptional. It lacked the seasoning and moisture I was hoping for, and once again, more sauce would have helped bring everything together. Nothing bad, just left me wanting a bit more oomph. Now the good stuff, service and ambiance were excellent. Our server was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the whole experience better. The vibe of the place is awesome: retro '80s burger joint feel with fun music, books, games, and lots of greenery (major shoutout to the plants). When I walked in I noticed it was one of those spots where you just kinda put in your order and sit down and wait. So that's what I did. I got the spicy burger, but I can't remember the name of it. I also got some onion rings and chicken wings. I'd like to mention that I was with my family so we could share those items. I could theoretically eat all of that myself, but that'd be a bit greedy. The burger was great and it had a good amount of spice. The meat was juicy and nicely seasoned, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The onion rings had a delicious batter, and were fried to perfection. The chicken wings really surprised me! I would go as far as to say that they were on par with, and maybe even better than Wingstop. Overall, the service was great and quick, the food was immaculate, and I would absolutely recommend this spot to anybody who is in the area. The bathrooms are nice too. I forgot to mention that. Foot long hot dogs with the perfect "snap" when bitten…read more While picking up my motorcycle from the amazing Pinit Motorsports in Seaside, CA; the Brown's Confectionery truck stops to give the owner his weekly fix. Based on that recommendation, I ordered the Chicago Dog and chatted with the proprietor, Del Brown. We bonded over hot dogs, Oakland funk, and motorcycles. Looking forward to our next chat and music exchange. Thankfully, the foot long extended beyond the moist steamed bun. It allowed me to enjoy the first bite unadulterated by the bun and fresh fixings. Perfect snap to the skin and classic hot dog flavor. This is a gourmet sausage NOT a mass produced Costco wiener. The hot dogs and Mr. Brown's friendly presence are highly recommended.

I was a little taken back because I had never seen such an original food truck like his before. I immediately walked around to the front window and met Mr. Don Brown himself. My eyes caught the menu and was attracted to the sign that read "Hot Link". I was sooooo excited because I had been craving a hot link for about a month prior to meeting Mr. Brown's truck. Once I received the hot link with grilled onions, relish, and spicy mustard, it was one of the best 100% all beef hot links I have ever bit into. In regard to the food, the portion size is large and fair for the price. I ordered the coconut curry tofu and rice. There was a strong coconut flavor and a lot of sauce, which is a good thing in my book! The flavor isn't strong at first bite but it builds to something pleasant. The tacos were wrapped in handmade tortillas with perfectly cooked meat that wasn't greasy. I preferred the chicken over the beef, but both were good. Their green salsa is great for flavor and the red salsa is good for heat. I added both and thought it was a perfect combo. Service was quick and friendly and checked on us without hovering. Our food and drinks came out quickly and we honestly couldn't be happier with the meal. Kids had chicken tenders, fries, and sweet potato fries. Hubs and I split a tasting flights of cocktails (cute and delicious), I had the Kahlua pork tacos, and hubs had a burger with side salad. Their burgers are typical burgers. Those pork tacos were absolutely amazing though. We hadn't been here in a couple of years, but we will definitely be back again soon.
