Do not let the plaza or the outside fool you, go inside and you will be welcomed by colorful yellow, orange, and green seats, purple flowers, and one of the largest screens I think I have seen in a restaurant. My dad and I were warmly greeted by the owner Nick and he told us about the menu and recommended a few items. It was my dad's first time really having Mediterranean food, so Nick was happy to take his time recommending items as well as being so kind regarding my dad's dad jokes! We got the garlic dip with pita bread to start and omg, nothing but goodness in every bite. It had a nice cool and creamy taste and texture! For our main meal we got the shrimp scampi and the mixed meat kebab plate. We could've just shared the meat kebab plate as with each entree you get rice, salad, and hummus. There was more than enough food for four or five people and possibly still have leftovers! The shrimp scampi had a nice balance of spice and incorporated onions, peppers, and mushrooms to make a delight that my pallete really enjoyed. The meat on the kebab plate was tender and juicy with just a little toughness. This mixed with the hummus paired with the rice and salad made for a great meal and a very stuffed stomach! The hummus was another highlight, with great flavor and that homemade touch you hope to find at a Mediterranean restaurant. The menu has a wonderful variety of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern favorites, including hummus, falafel, shawarma, grilled meats, kebabs, rice dishes, salads, and more. Their combo plates and specials are a great way to try different dishes, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. In my opinion, I think an eatery specifically like Bread zeppelin, would benefit greatly from having the Panera-bread style of soft carpets, soft seats, free Wi-Fi, welcoming all the local collage kids and other customers to hang out even if stay beyond the time it takes to eat their sandwich. I like to try new things all the time, but I'm telling you that I cannot bring myself to pass up the Tinga Chicken Zeppelin every time.
