I called this cab on around 1pm, but they don't get the phone and transfer me to leave a voice message, which is already unacceptable for a cab company. And they never get back to me over three hours. Probably they just have too many customers and don't feel like answering every request. read more

No stressing out about whether they are going to show up or not., especially early in the AM load your luggage. The cab is clean and comfortable. Its like a hired car service but costs a lot less. I've only used Chill Out twice but both times have been excellent! One was a call the night before for an early morning run to Logan and the other was a call an hour before a lunchtime run to Logan. On both occasions I was met by a smiling, friendly cabbie who arrived 5 minutes EARLY and whisked me away to the airport. The cabs were clean and free of weird cab smells, and the drivers were both friendly, and (a big bonus in the early morning) not overly chatty. A worthy side note. The second time I used Chill Out, it was another company's cab that picked me up. Evidently Al was overbooked so he farmed out the call. Given the nice cabbie who was on time and driving a spotless cab, I had no complaint. In fact, I was grateful that Al did what he needed to in order to ensure I not only got my ride to the airport but that I had the same excellent service he would have provided himself. I'm not sure if he does this routinely or if it's in response to a previous poster's bad review, but I'm thankful regardless of the reason behind it. I'm definitely a Chill Out fan. read more

Like many fellow Yelpers, my situation was no different... early flight, T doesn't run, no friends with cars or willing to drive me to the airport for a 6 am flight... so, my only option was to take a cab from Cambridge to Boston Logan. To be honest, I was worried that the cab wouldn't come on time... or that the taxi driver was going to be some creep. However, have no fear, my fellow lady friends, this guy is punctual and a gentleman! He arrived with a black town car, carried my suitcase, and off we went to the airport. It was a smooth and comfortable ride thanks to the comfy leather seats. After about 15-20 minutes, I arrived safety in front of my terminal and like a baller too (thanks to the black town car effect). I definitely recommend this service if you need a cab ride to the airport. From Cambridge to Boston Logan Airport, it costs me about $40, which is about the average price for this area. read more

Driver never showed up. When I called the number to inquire the call taker said he would look into it but never called me back and subsequently started screening my calls. That's no way to run a business. Won't be using them again. read more

I had a 6 AM flight, which means I spent the entire night tossing and turning, freaking out about if the cab would be on time or not. I received a text message when it arrived (ten minutes early!) and couldn't have been happier with the service. Thirty five dollar flat fee from Harvard Square to Logan. With the headache that is Boston's complete lack of transportation options, Chill Out will definitely be my go-to for booking cab services! read more

I haven't ridden Chill Out First yet, but i just phoned the guy to see if he could get my family & bags to the Logan in a van. He didn't have a van for me, but gave me the number of someone who thought would. Very friendly. Compare to Green Cab, who hung up on me. read more

Very friendly, arrived early, and was very clean. However, losing a point for being incredibly expensive ($50 for what is usually about $35) and not having a meter in the car, so I had no idea how expensive it was going to be until he told me it would be $50 even (flat rate?). read more

'This cab is so great! It was like taking a mini-vacation before we even got to the airport. I must admit I chose this cab company because it has the best name ever (and a good yelp score.) We were rushing to the airport and a little stresses out but the soothing strains of Bob Marley and the Caribbean decor soon mellowed us right out. Our driver was friendly, helpful, got us to the airport on time, and even charged us less than other cab company's airport fees. Love Al (the owner I think) and Chill Out First Class Cab! I've used this company now three times and each time it has been for an early morning ride to Logan from Brookline. Like many other Yelpers, I have also suffered from "The Fear" but since using Al's company have never had to worry. I've had Al drive me each time and have to agree with other reviewers that the cabs are super clean and making a reservation is easy and efficient. Each time the rate has been $40 flat and to me, it's totally worth it to have the cab arrive on time and get to Logan quickly. I always make my reservation by text and Al is super quick to get back to me. After many terrible cab experiences in Boston, finding COFCC has been a huge relief. It may sound strange but riding with COFCC has consistently been a pleasant cab experience! read more

I called and scheduled a 4am pickup the night before. They didn't show up. I called to see if they were coming, he said 5 minutes, and was still not there. Do NOT use this cab company if you need to get to the airport on time. I ended up calling a different company, and they showed up within 5 minutes. read more

I work for a very high profile executive. He had a meeting in BOS - he used this company once before and found them to be decent. Well I arranged for his pick up several days before. The day of we found out his flight was being delayed, when i received news of this i immediately contacted Al, notifying him of the delay, he said would not be a problem and i told him i would keep him updated to when his new arrival time would be. Later in the day when I got confirmation of the arrival i texted Al. He told me to see if my boss would order a cab... is that a joke? My boss would NEVER be caught in a cab... He told me they had other reservations and i was out of luck. I always thought car service companies to be reliable - esp if they keep track of flights... I did all the work for them and they still said no. Well never be calling them again. Not so CHILL. read more

About a week ago I was hosting two friends who needed to get to South Station the next morning. Called Chill Out (based on their awesome aggregated Yelp review), gave them my address and pickup time, and that was it. The driver even texted me after the call to confirm. He was there the next morning (a few minutes early, even!), helped my friends with their bags, and confirmed their destination before heading out. I can't speak to the quality of the drive itself, but I know they got where they needed to go, on time. From my perspective, Chill Out gets an A+. I'll absolutely call them again next time I or a friend needs a taxi. read more

I have had a ton of bad experiences with Boston cabs. This was the best treatment I have ever received from a company or driver, at a great value. I had an early flight and needed to leave Jamaica Plain at 3:45am! I called the night before, and the dispatcher was courteous and gracious. The car arrived 45 minutes early for me, waited patiently (without honking), and got me to the airport in only 15 minutes at a flat rate (tip incl.) of $35. I tipped way extra! This is the best service! Pick up going was perfect, on time, courteous, well versed with the airport, and an enjoyable intelligent driver too. On the way back, my plane, delayed, horrible flight, bad experience, but when I arrived at Logan, my driver (the same great guy) from Chill Out was waiting as he tracked my flight for me. So 2 almost 3 am in the morning, well over an hour late, and he made sure I had a ride! Can it get any better, No. My best pick up, in any country, anywhere. I recommend them absolutely. read more

Taking a flight at dark o'clock in the morning is never fun but I had one less thing to worry about using chill out cabs and that's a great thing. By text I ordered a van taxi to pick up furniture, and received several confirmations. Before even scheduling the ride or giving a location, I specifically asked whether they had van taxis that could transport furniture, and the reply was "Ok!". But they sent a van instead of a taxi, and apparently don't even have van taxis... what an epic waste of time. read more

We used "Chill Out First Class" twice on a one-time trip to Boston. Al, the business owner, was early in both instances -- and early is, in my opinion, always better than late. If the charge he quotes seems high to you, propose a reasonable alternative and, chances are, he'll accept it. In other words, he's willing to negotiate. Al is a good communicator; he'll respond to your text within minutes -- if not seconds. Hire "Chill Out" and take the worry out of getting where you're going. read more

I was in Boston for a conference and stayed in Somerville. I took the T (subway) from the airport to where I was staying and it was cheap, convenient, but time consuming (one hour). My departure flight from Boston was early in the morning on a Monday and I didn't want to mess with crowded trains during commuter times, possible breakdowns, and manipulating my luggage amongst so many bodies. So I treated myself to a taxi. I had read the reviews for Chill Out on Yelp. I had called a couple of days before my departure to make a reservation. Al wrote my name and pick up time in his diary (which immediately made me feel better!). On the day of the pick up he was there 10 minutes early and since I was ready we left. It probably took 15 minutes to get to the airport. Way more convenient than the subway. Al was very friendly, courteous, and professional. And the price was great at $35 (plus I tipped him). It looks like his price has gone up $5 since I used his service at the beginning of April. But still, a bargain to know you are getting to the airport hassle free. I asked Al what he does if more than one person wants to reserve him. He has two guys that work for him, so essentially his services are available 24 hours a day. I would recommend making a reservation in advance for the airport, but he said that as long as he has an hour lead time, he can usually work something out. I am all for using public transportation, but when you know you have a plane to catch, I think a taxi is the way to go. And in Boston, it can't possibly get better than Chill Out. read more
