The inside is clean, but shows a little age, with comfortable couches that are spaced perfectly. You are not on top of each other so you feel like you have privacy. The lounge waiter and the coal changer were amazing. Friendly and attentive. The Hookah was perfect and you just don't feel rushed at all. We were there for 4 hours and enjoyed every minute. Although they advertise food and drinks there were none and the website was down so ordering was from an old picture they had. However, they seemed very comfortable with patrons bringing in their own food and hard drinks. The music they played became too loud around 10 pm and it was hard to hear my friends. Now....the price. Unbelievably fair and inexpensive. Two full Hookahs/four hours....30 dollars! Not kidding at all! Amazing and I would highly recommend.

I've met so many friends here. Everyone that walks in the door is so friendly and willing to kick up a conversation. The owner is extremely accommodating. He is just a dear! I also love the freshly made Indian tea. I haven't had anything like it anywhere else! Delish! It really hits the spot on those chilly fall evenings with some hookah. Next time you find yourself in Indiana, give Smoke Connection a try. You won't regret it!

I've been coming here every few weeks for almost three years to buy shisha because they sell everything needed for personal hookah use, which is a godsend because they are the only place in Harrisburg that sells Al Fakher and Starbuzz which are the two best shisha brands. I don't know if Dan is the owner, but he is the super friendly and professional, and has even given me samples of shisha and different types of coals to try before buying the whole pack. Their food is awesome and their sound system lets you plug your phone in to play your own music, which no other lounge lets you do. And they also accept Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. The owner was kind with a very thick Turkish accent. I didn't understand everything thing he said, but I immediately knew that he aimed to please and I knew I would be back. On My first visit to place an order I was met by George, who was working while the owner was out grocery shopping. I ordered lamb kabobs on brown rice and eggplant salad, and a side order of grilled asparagus. all were items on the menu. George apologized and asked if white rice was ok. I said that was fine. (Actually I was trying to look healthy, anyway) I asked that it be ready in two hours. On my return, George told me the owner wasn't back from shopping and that he didn't know what the recipe for eggplant salad was. So he improvised. I said fine, since I love eggplant. He also informed me that he was out of asparagus, and offered broccoli instead. I was disappointed, but I wanted some veggies, so I said "Fine!" I was hungry and walked a short distance to my apartment. Finally. the food review: The broccoli was hot and steaming and perfectly aldente. The lamb was the typical Slovaki. The white rice was hot and plentiful with an amazing sauce featuring figs, fava beans, Grilled jalapeño, tomatoes, and onions. Fabulous! The improvised eggplant salad was unbelievably delicious! Lightly breaded medallions of fried eggplant tossed with Parmesan, lettuce, tomatoes and a vinaigrette to die for! Sorry, not on the menu! Just my luck of the draw! Okay, so I didn't get everything as ordered. What I did get was a delicious dinner for a more than reasonable price. I will be back!

We settled on some hummus with fried meat on top and a Sambousek for appetizer. The hummus was lemony and very light and served with pita. The fried meat on top of it added nothing, however. The chicken sambousek was hot and very nice and would have benefitted from some sort of sauce to dip it in. The fatoush salad was ok. I had the msakaah which was a stewy eggplant served next to some dark rice served with a lentil soup. The soup was light and mild and matched the msakaah which was not going to over-spice anyone's palate. The other entree of shish tawook arrived as a ring of grilled chicken kabob chunks surrounding a bed of rice that was topped with zesty summer vegetables. It was a great presentation and was very ample in its portions and the winner of the evening. We were both very full at the end of the meal but life is short and so I ordered some namoura for dessert which was a dense cake, saturated with a honey sauce and topped with a pistachio glaze. It was a great dessert - solid and sweet but not too sweet. The ownership of the restaurant had recently changed hands which accounted for the barebones menu and hopefully that will change with some descriptions and pictures because if one is going to venture into a new cuisine, why not give future diners a 'heads up'?
