Clientele seemed to have a lot of smokers (we were eating outside with our dog, so you see why I noticed). Here on a business trip! Found Chill Grill after calling all the burger spots in town and found out they have GLUTEN FREE buns and chicken strips. The person I was with was so excited. The Service was amazing and so kind. So many options, lemons in water, fry sauce, any and all lattuce, tomato, pickles. It was a fantastic spot and the milk shakes were SOOO good. It's possible we went on a bad day. We were road tripping though, and pulled in on a whim. It's very cute, decor is nice and place looks clean. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated - this should have been our first tell. They seemed busy but there weren't a ton of people in there. All in all, we were finally seated, then finally waited on, then finally got our food. It came out wrong, but we didn't say anything because the two waitresses looked like they were about to cry and also ... it took too long to get our food in the first place. My husband and I got burgers - they were just ok. My kids got grilled cheese. We found a hair my kids grilled cheese too, but we just ate what we could and got back on the road. The ice cream people got looked amazing though, and I should have just ordered that. Like I said, maybe it was just a bad day. I don't live there. read more

1/25/2026: Resturaunt work is not the best place for the young gentleman who served us tonight. He came back almost 10 minutes after taking our order and asked again what my friend order (mind you he had a pen and paper when he took our initial order), he never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks and our food that was supposed to come out hot was lukewarm at best. Next time we're there and see him we'll be turning around and leaving. read more

Food was good. Service was awful. We all felt like we were imposing on the staff. She brought refill of tea and couldn't remember if it was our table or the table next to us. So hopefully my husband got the tea glass he drank from. Waitress was rude. Food was good. My shake tasted like old Ice cream though. Wouldn't ever go back. What a fantastic find! We were traveling through the barren state of Wyoming and needing refreshment. We were ahead of schedule so we didn't need to stop at a fast food place. So glad we found this gem. The menu was a good read with all sorts of options that I hadn't thought of before. (Mac and cheese in a hot dog!) I had heard they do a jalapeño popper burger for a special. It wasn't listed on the specials of the day board but they still made one just for me. Oh, wow! I didn't realize I was also going to get bacon on it - bonus! The wait for the food was longer than a fast food joint, but that's how you know it is cooked fresh to order. I was super happy with the ribbon fries at no surcharge. The dessert menu was the biggest I've ever seen. I want to make the 2.5 hour drive to Rock Springs just to eat here again. read more

Absolutely delicious! I have nothing negative to say about this place! Stopped here while traveling on vacation and was super delighted! Inside is decorated like the 50s, staff was super friendly. I ordered a grilled Cali Chicken sandwich and it was so big that I had to dismantle it a bit to eat it. I had sweet potato fries that were delicious. The portions are huge so I didn't eat all of it. My other half got a cheese burger and "hula hoops" aka onion rings and he loved his meal too! Would definitely recommend to anyone driving through town. Also, fair warning- the menu is huge, it will be hard to make your mind up on what to get! read more

Ate here on a road trip today. I had the BBQ pulled pork. It was spicy and delicious. My mother had a "Hound Dog" hotdog and enjoyed it. My sister ate every last bite of the grilled cheese. Our server, Jessica, was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is great, too. Posters of icons from the 50s and 60s, a vinyl border on the wall. Clean restrooms with changing station for parents. Super fun place to stop if you're traveling along I-80. A lot of people were in there eating burgers which looked dank but we opted for one of our go-to's, a cheesesteak. Good ingredients used to make their food, great cooks. For soda, we tried the Pepsi cherry cream. It was delicious. They also do refills which we weren't expecting as we were ordering another one. Super za. Place was busy, service was great but definitely be patient because it's ran by locals and they're working hard to keep up with the demand of travelers and hometown folk. Place was themed old school diner, you could eat outside, really big with plenty of seating on inside, & super fun oldies music to bop around to. This is a typical 50s diner experience. The food was good and they served fresh hand cut french fries. A salad bar was available. They also had 14 different flavors of ice cream to make malts, shakes, and sundaes. It's not far off of the interstate, which makes it handy. read more

Waited to be seated. Then one of the waitresses told us to sit wherever we wanted and they'd be right with us. Sat down and watched multiple servers walk past us repeatedly without stopping for drink orders or to give us menus...for 20 minutes. So, maybe the food is ok...but they don't know service. Great little local gem in Wyoming. Definitely worth the stop. The burgers are fresh and the salads were large and yummy. We had a burger (1/2 lb is standard) with bacon and cheese. While we were waiting for food, the entire place packed, and there was a line out the door. I don't know how we just got lucky and beat the rush. The Philly cheesesteak was excellent, the wife and kids enjoyed the burgers, and my daughter loved the chicken basket. Fantastic place to stop for lunch when you're in Rock Springs. The food is made to order burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Buyer beware, portions are huge! They have gluten free buns and are knowledgeable about cross contamination which can be very hard to find when you're on the road. My teenager said the S'mores milkshake was the best shake she's ever had. High praise coming from a kid who says everything is "fine". The employees here are super helpful. I will definitely stop by next time I'm passing through. read more
