a bar with red stools in front of a large window

We stopped here on a road trip because of all the positive reviews on the place. It was a malt shop style place, very cute. It was clearly a popular place for lunch. I ordered a burger and it was huge and good. I'm glad I didn't get a side of fries. The bun was toasted which I love for my burger. It came with tomato and lettuce (and pickles but I'm not a pickle fan). Husband got a burger as well and a side of fries. They put two bottles on our table, ketchup and a mystery bottle. We asked what it was and our server said 'fry sauce, something the folks in this area like on their fries'. Turned out to be ketchup and Mayo mixed. Who knew. Service was excellent. Pick up a little souvenir on your way out from one of the three gift shops.

Fun little diner set in the middle of a gift shop and medical supply business. Yup, the pairing is quirky at best but well worth the visit. It's set like an old 50's style diner and there are several tables or seats at the soda fountain bar. Hours are tight and they have limited lunch from 11-3pm. Worth the tight window. I opted for the "Remedy Burger" which was a 1/3 lb with awesome grilled onions. Several other toppings available and it was fantastic. Great bun and with some cheese and bacon, this was a little piece of heaven. The fries are battered and thick cut, like steak fries. I couldn't eat them all as the plate was heaping. There are some different sandwiches on the menu, some pizzas, and some other fare. All have a very "home town" vibe and the wait staff / cook were very, very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back to try more goodness!

Stopped through town for lunch and was recommended to go to Remedies! Honestly, they got the simple things down. I got the burger with avocado, bacon and American cheese and boy was it a treat! The bun was excellent and you could really taste the patty! Great job!

We were looking for lunch and someone recommended Remedies. It was a small place in the front of a store downtown with a few tables and a counter. It was also popular. We got two of the last seats at the counter for lunch. They make big and interesting burgers, but for some reason we were looking for something lighter. I had a tuna melt and my wife had chicken strips. We were happy with them and the prices were great. Friendly small town service and good food, what more could we ask? We could see why Remedies was popular. Note that the restrooms are a long ways from the restaurant.

We took Yelpers' advice and stopped here in our way east. Both the cheeseburger and the tuna melt were very good. Since the deep fryer was being worked on, we substituted side salads that were generous and made with fresh romaine. Great service! Our server was extremely friendly! The only negative was the out of order restroom. We used the employee restroom in the adjoining gift shop. The restroom was pretty grim. Note: the sign above the window does not feature "Remedy"- it features medical supplies and cowboy souvenirs which are sold in the same space.

Great little 50's style diner. Our burgers and onion rings were delicious. In the old Bi-Rite drug space on Broadway.

I have a theory that when a Chinese restaurant offers Egg Foo Young then it's pretty legit. I wound…read moreup getting the Singapore Chow Mein and I was not disappointed. It was a generous portion, same with the kung pao chicken my husband ordered. We finished it all after a long day of not eating due to driving all day. We were pleased with our dishes and we plan on making this a visit every time we are in the area. We have quite a few more to try, starting next with that egg foo young! The servers are nice and made it a point to check on you just enough to not bother your meal, but to make sure you're doing good. It has such a small town kind of "Cheers" vibe. We met a patron who comes twice a week and has been doing that for fifteen years! If that doesn't say something about this place, then I don't know what would tell you. If you're in Rock Springs, come give Renegade Restaurant a try. The same family has owned it for 50 years!

Can you believe there is a Chinese American dinner in Rock Springs, in the heart of Wyoming? Well…read morenow you do! This place was recommended by our Motel hotel staff (we were staying at the Baymont by Windham half mile away) because "they make the best cheeseburger in town". Not being a burger addict, I still decided to go as I knew they were serving Chinese food as well and oh boy... it didn't disappoint. The Chef is an older Chinese gentleman. This place has been in business since 1968! The staff is nice and efficient. My Singapore Chow Mien were delicious and the Low Mien to die for. I was lurking on my neighbor's dish (Kung Pao Chicken) that seemed to be pretty delish as well. Don't get my wrong, the Chinese food is slightly Americanized but it's on point! Then place is an old school diner, and they also offer all American food with daily specials. Many local seem to be going there. Make sure you stop by, wherever you are heading to!
