I ordered Curbside Delivery today, and after no one brought my food out and no one answered my three phone calls, I went in the Curbside Delivery door and waited for someone to acknowledge me. A woman acknowledged me and went to get my food and the manager (that had no idea that someone was helping me) was walking past me (in a place that customers do not stand) without acknowledging me. I asked if they were the manager and they said yes. I said, I've been calling for nearly 10 minutes and no one is answering the phone! The manager said, I never heard the phone, sorry. My grilled chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes were good. I just need to give up on this place, because there is always something that goes wrong. read more

The hostess was great. We had a party of 8 and she hurried to get our tablet set up. The waitress we had was horrible! I do not remember her name, but she had long, curly, red hair. All of our meals came out pretty quick. My meal had the wrong side with it. One of my daughters, her meal was completely forgotten. Then after we had all been eating for a few minutes and I finally got the waitress to come back to our table, she didn't even know what my daughter ordered. She didn't have it written down on our ticket. She finally got her meal. Then I had to ask a different waiter to get our waitress so we could get out bill and pay it. It took her about 15 minutes to print the ticket and bring it to us. We have eaten at several Applebee's across the US and this has been, by far, the WORST service we have ever had. We were traveling and ordered dinner online. A large order 4 adults and 2 children. Set to be picked up 10 minutes before close on 11/19/24. We picked up and took to our hotel after driving for 12 hours that day. Ready to sit down and have dinner at 10:30pm. I didn't except the food to be exceptionally fresh seeing as we ordered it for pick up right before closing. What I did expect was for everything we ordered to be in the bags. Fail. An entire entree missing. So someone didn't have dinner (me the mother). No one could share because mom has allergies. I tried to call but the store closed at 10:30pm so I didn't expect anyone to answer after hours. I called the next morning and we were already on our way by the time you opened. I spoke to a "manager" who first asked if we had called when the mistake was discovered. We did but there was no answer that's why I called when you opened. She apologized for us not receiving the food that was paid for. She took my name and address (I live in another state) and stated she would send a gift card. That card can be used at any location. I was fine with that. It's been more than 2 weeks and I've not received anything in the mail or even a call. So Applebee's took funds for a product not provided. I don't usually write a negative review. However this location doesn't seem to think they should be truthful and make a mistake right. I hope you don't do this regularly to your customers. Next time we come through your city we will most certainly not be coming to this location. read more

The wait itself wouldn't have been the end of the world but we talked to 2 different people and it wasn't clear if anyone was even helping us. When it arrived, the food was old, fries were soggy and everything tasted awful. Chicken tenders definitely seemed like the had been cooked long before and reheated. Other members of our family decided to sit down and order food separately and had a similar experience including a way overcooked steak. Heavy D noticed great service from the bartender on this rainy Wednesday evening, as well as a server who picked up my order when rad bartender was a little busy. Waitress, Angel, shows up takes our drink order, brings our children drinks- brought plain iced tea instead of a sweet tea said she would bring sweetener and never did. She took our order, again we understood that the food would take time. We ordered appetizers and our dinners. While we waited we had to order a lemonade to sweeten the tea. Finally the food came one order was missing bacon on the cheeseburger a kids meal had the wrong item. Our appetizers were brought after our dinners, we did understand that could be a possibility. Its Applebees...you should know exactly what to expect going there. Its not gourmet, it's not high end, its just commercially good food. Our visit was great. We sat at the bar and ended up ordering to go. The place was busy, clean, and staff was friendly. Our food took a little while but we were kept well informed along the way. Quality of food was a plus too, although the shrimp we ordered could have used a little more grill time. The is the perfect place to grab a meal that you can count on to be good. read more

On the way back from vacation with all the kids. Everyone wants to eat something different so this was a good place with a lot of options. Here is how it went... The Good: - seated very fast at 6pm. We waited only about 5 minutes - decor is friendly and nice - place seems mostly clean and well cared for - bar seating available for those who want it - Asian short ribs not bad - our server was really nice and helped us out a lot The Not So Good: - Trying to seat 7 and a baby in a booth? Nope. Staff should know better than to try. Result? The inevitable spilled water all over the isle floor. - 30 minutes for the food to come out - honey BBQ short ribs tasted like they opened a bottle of Kraft on the ribs. So I put off coming here for several hours even though it was the only non-fast food option within walking distance because of the bad reviews. While it certainly isn't the best place I've ever eaten, I didn't think it was that bad. Had to stand a minute or two before being seated, and another few minutes before the waitress came by, but it really wasn't anything egregious. Food came out without too much delay and was hot and yummy. Burger was cooked perfectly, although you only get two options: "pink or no pink". That's verbatim by the way... Tried saying medium and my waitress said "sorry, only pink or no pink". I said no pink and it actually came out a perfect medium (ie slightly pink in the middle but cooked through). Waitress was friendly and prompt when bringing a to go box for my leftovers and my cheque. Overall thought it was pretty standard. Maybe they've read the reviews and are turning things around, or maybe the only people who bother to review an Applebee's are the ones who had a bad experience. My wife and I have eaten at Applebee's grill and bar's from the west coast to middle America and enjoyed the quick service, great food, the comraderie of the employees, and the cleanliness of the establishments. That is until we came to Rock Springs. This was the first Applebees that we have found where the staff can't be identified because it is "street clothes only" and only known by those that eat there every day evidently. People stand for several minutes with no greeter to seat them and finally a heavy-set individual with no ID wearing a hoodie finally ambles up to seat them. Another waitress looks like she is a billboard for the local tattoo artist and the attitude of the other servers tells you they really would rather you weren't there. The supposed greeter appeared to have just come off the farm so that she could ignore people standing in line waiting for a table. Sorry, but but the cook gets an "F" for his attempt at putting together a simple plate with burger and fries on it that looked like it had been dropped and slapped back on. Horrible.... read more

I understand it's COVID but my family of 8 was told we had to separate in 2 small groups. We happily agreed. We were told it would be 30 minutes. We accepted. Then they made us wait outside (93 degree heat) and proceeded to sit 4 groups of 3-4 people in front of us in 15 minutes. When we went in to ask why 4 groups the size of our 2 groups were being seated ahead, we were told they prioritize small groups even though they insisted on breaking my family into 2 small groups. That's an insane policy. COVID is worsened by idiotic policies at this place. read more
