We came with a group of 12, which no is never fun we called two days in advance and then called the day of they were great and sat us right away. We put everything on one check so it would not be difficult, I felt like our server was lost most of the time it was hard to get refills on drinks and then when our food came out it seems to be all messed up things were missing or not right. The salad I got did not come with pineapple or shrimp instead it came with chicken and when she said she messed up sorry the shrimp is coming minutes later she came back and said it was going to take too long and I never got it. She left the fajita wraps on the computer behind her and forgot to give it to the rest of the group and a waitress came around and was like...hmm are these yours? Also one reason why we came to chili's was because my kids wanted the ribs and they told us they ran out and they were frozen and would not have any for the next two hours. Overall I was pretty disappointed in my service I got here. However my waitress was atleast pretty if that makes a difference. read more

I've been to this Chili's multiple times over the last few years. Every year they have impressed me with their food. The staff has always been helpful and the food has always been delicious. Despite what other reviews say on this location you have to give the staff credit. They get what needs to be done fast despite being understaffed. 10/10 would definitely recommend. read more

After waiting at the to-go counter for 10 minutes, someone finally asked if I (and 2 others) were being helped. Went there for lunch today and was handed a menu that is typed in about 6 point font and completely unreadable. When we asked for a different menu as NO ONE could read it, we were told that was all they had. If you can hand out a menu, make it one the customer can actually read. The food was just okay overall. Our appetizer had fried mozzarella that wasn't cooked and was cold upon being bit into and our meals were lukewarm as if they had been sitting for a while. We both got the Smokehouse Combo, where I got the brisket quesadilla which was my favorite part it was nice and flavorful, corn which was cold but decent flavor, garlic bread that tasted like the frozen Texas toast you would get at the grocery store, cheddar sausage which was cold but okay tasting, chicken crispers which was fine nothing special, and fries what were pretty much run of the mill fries. The service on the other hand was excellent and helpful. The restaurant was overall decently clean with the bathroom being not super great. Overall I give it 2/5. read more

I have been to this Chili's location countless times. And while it's not the greatest restaurant, it's usually at least okay. When I visited February 3rd ,a Monday evening with my daughter it was terrible. Like I won't be back terrible. I ordered the ranchero taco meal. Which when it arrived I noticed there was no spicy sauce, the girl responded they were out. Something the waitress failed to mention. So she brought me some other sauce I chose. Then as I'm eating the taco I realize it's also missing the cilantro and the queso fresca. The chicken was dried and cold and the tortIlla was hard on the edges like it was old. I didn't want to send it back I was with my toddler and didn't want to take the time but thought I I'd wait to eat the last one and let the waitress know. She never came back so I couldn't tell her. Good thing I didn't intend to send it back. No refill on my empty beverage was ever offered. Rice and beans came on the side and the rice was legit completely uncooked. The restaurant was mostly empty so I don't know what the problem was. I probably could have left without paying the bill and nobody would let have even noticed. I tried to go on Chili's website and contact them directly but didn't find any obvious spot to do so. So here I am. Oh and to top it off I signed into my rewards to get my beverage free, which it shows I used that reward but it failed to take it off the bill. They have a great happy hour and I've tried most of the items on the menu including the boneless wings, chicken sandwich and the egg rolls all of which are good. This is my fiances favorite local place, he gets the same dish EVERYTIME, the cajin chicken pasta. Its a huge serving, it comes with a thick slice of toast, and always generous with the portion of chicken. I myself must have tried half their menu by now. Very hit or miss. Ive learned their chicken strips in any form are aweful, sometimes inedible and get sent back. I wont order them anymore even when offered in a new flavor. They also dont season their broccoli at all. But thats really my only gripes! Ive tried many of their burgers, all delicous and cooked to how i ask (southwest bacon burger to die for!) Their tex mex bowls are delicous, and if the restaurant is slow and i know my server will have time i LOVE getting the bottomless chips, soup and salad combo. They give you a portion of chips big enough for the whole table, MAKE an amazing honey mustard salad dressing you gotta try, and though i havent tried the chilli, all 3 of their normal soups are splendid. All their fajitas come with all the trimmings and are a large portion size. The southwest egg rolls are just ok, but they use a great buffalo sauce on their boneless buffalo wings! Shrimp tacos were light and delicous. And if i order the enchiladas you know im hungry because they pack those babies. I can go on and on lol Bonus! If you sign up for their plenti program you get free offers CONSTANTLY in my email. Just today we enjoyed a FREE dessert of our choosing (skillet cookie to die for. Chili's has gone tragically downhill - especially this location. Given what we experienced today, I'm not sure how they're still open. The hostess station was unmanned, and the waiters that could clearly see us (even made eye contact!) ignored us. We called out, "excuse me?" to try to get the attention of anyone. A server looked up, made eye contact, and turned and walked away. We probably should've taken the hint, but nooo.. not us! The hostess asked if we wanted to sit at the bar which we declined, but she offered us a table in the bar area. The main restaurant was quite empty - one large-ish table and two other smaller tables from what I could see. Back to our bar table, though... She said she had to wipe it down first. There are eight high top tables in that bar space. None were occupied, but she tried to sit us at the one dirty table? Weird. So she moves forward with the cleaning of the table, sits us down, and I realize the tablet is absolutely filthy gross. I moved it off the table and placed it on a chair because who wants to look at that with food around? We hadn't even met our server yet, and there had been a few red flags, but we powered through. Ugh. The server arrives, introduces themselves, seems totally cool. We place our lunch orders, and then.... wait. And wait. And wait some more. It's obvious this place is short staffed. Painfully obvious. While waiting forever for our food, we watched as no less than THREE parties came in and tried to sit at the booths located in the bar area. The hostess sweetly declined their table selection as those are "seated" tables (meaning the hostess controls when they are occupied), but they could sit at the bar if they wanted immediate service. Every single party in this process ended up leaving the restaurant. What a loss of revenue! The food finally shows up, we're all excited because OMG FAJITAS!, but they forgot the fixins and extra plates. This is a huge concern for me because I know that if it doesn't show up with the order initially, it will take a million years before it finally does. And, maybe it wasn't a million years, but it certainly took a long time and a gentle reminder to our server that these things were missing. Once reminded, these things showed up quickly, but then we opened our tortillas which, apparently, are heated and rolled hours prior to the opening of the restaurant because they were gummy and stuck together with the outermost tortilla being dry and cracked apart. WEIRD. Noone came to check in on us or offer us a refill so I paid the bill and left. Never again. Sorry, Chilis. You kind of suck now. read more

let me start by saying that our server was great. however, the restaurant as a whole appeared to be severely understaffed. right from the get the host was not personable and standoffish. we were told we couldn't sit at the bar area because that one waitress was too busy. it took us about 15 minutes just to get a drink after being seated, and my chicken tasted like perdue coated in cajun seasoning with school lunch spanish rice. i don't expect much from chains but no amount of Tapatio could salvage this trip. would've liked to have seen some sort of management presence to help with the struggling staff. read more

We have been eating at Chili's all over the USA since the early 1980's. We have been to this location several times and have usually had good service and good food. We did not experience either when dining here this past week for our Dinner Meal and Drinks. We arrived on a weeknight and it was NOT crowded, just a few patrons inside in all locations throughout. We sat near the Bar and we had a Male Waiter named Jason wait on us. We believe that Jason and the Kitchen Staff was having an off night when attempting to serve us. The 1st Set of Tortilla Chips were overly greasy and served hot in temperature. The 2nd Set of Tortilla Chips that we were served were also greasy, but, the temperature was cold as they had been sitting somewhere for quite some time and they were NOT FRESH! The Chili Con Queso was okay, but, it probably was not quite fresh, at least it did not taste that way. The alcoholic beverages served were good and fresh and reasonably priced with the right and proper amount of liquor. The Appetizers were okay, but, they just did not seem to have a lot of love in them and they were not put together as they customarily are served. Jason the Waiter seemed a bit bothered about having to make multiple trips to the kitchen for us and for other patrons. He just did not seem to be in a really good mood and was not smiling and not really friendly and it made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps it is possible that he was not feeling well. Also, he failed to bring us Silverware and Napkins until about after 25 minutes after we had been sitting at the table. And, he never brought us any Smaller Dishes to put our food on through the entire meal, perhaps an oversight on his part, so, we had to resort to placing our food on the paper napkins on the table. This is a BIG NO NO and we fault him for putting us in this position. We should not have to ask for Smaller Dishes to place our food onto. Rule #1, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS bring out all of the Silverware, Napkins and Smaller Dishes for the patrons being served. If you bring out to much initially, bring it back into the kitchen to be processed, washed and cleaned. But, NEVER NEVER NEVER FAIL TO PROVIDE the patrons with what they need and what they should be provided with to eat and consume their meal with. Will we return to this Chili's location? Not likely, and we live less than 2 miles from this Chili's location as we reside in West Springfield, MA. We fault management for this visit and we never saw any management member present and we were never greeted by any management member during this visit. read more

wasn't thrilled tonight going with my mom. i understand during covid businesses are struggling with staffing, and i'm so grateful where i work in one with excellent staffing. But my server Bre was doing the best she could with a 9 table section and being triple sat is hard luckily she had people helping her. You could tell in her voice that she cared and was trying her best. As for the food it wasn't great. I got ribs and they were burnt bad on the bottom and another persons burger at my table was pink when she asked for well done. We told our server Bre, she went to the manager Matt and helped us. He came over and basically asked what's up and wasn't apologetic to any of us, not one sorry. Again i do work in the restaurant business and i do table vists if someone food is messed up, the first thing i do is say sorry even though it's not my fault but you are the face of the company at the moment. Wasn't thrilled with the food either, some of the stuff was good, but you could tell that the food has gone hill over the years. Maybe it was the rush of staying in Springfield on a Friday night - or maybe it was the lure of the Coronita (margarita avec a mini-bottle of Corona...) - who knows, but something compelled me to take us to Chili's a few weeks ago. We came in hot - me, in a show-stopping snow-leopard print cardi, my date in a ravishing flannel - and were made immediately aware that Chili's is THE spot to be at 6p on a Friday night and hadn't gotten the message that as ladiez we were supposed to be in those shirts w/ sleeve cut-outs and sequins I previously thought ABC had specifically made for its contestants on the Bachelorette - and glitter eye shadow - rookie mistake. People watching aside, we settled in for what I can only describe as a magical evening. Was there an iPad on the table that allowed us to order drinks, dessert, and play games, lest we decided we loathed each other and needed to cover our boredom in triple berry margs and cookies? Yes. After spending a fair amnt of time mesmerized like kittens by a laser with our machine, we actually looked at the menu - and perhaps this is b/c I'm but a simple girl...I thought that "tex-mex" meant American Mexican food (read: yes on tacos, no on huitlacoche)...which somehow Chili's has interpreted as including apps like fried pickles, margherita flatbread, southwestern egg rolls (okay, I'll give you that one, Chili's), and Cajun cheddar bites - confusing - but, we did not let ourselves get seduced by any of these gems as like any reasonable human beings, when we saw the phrase "table-side guac", I knew the only answer was "give that to me now". In terms of quality, it was appropriately smooth/chunky, though lacking in flavor - but I appreciated our server's effort at making us feel like we were back in Acapulco rather than in a bar blaring RiRi w no fewer than four TVs airing Sweet 16 games. Accompanying chips were clearly right from the fryer though a bit too dainty to hold up to the heft of our guac. For an entrée I played it safe - shrimp tacos - billed as spicy, though IRL they were quite timid and the cilantro rice was soapy, but the black beans were serviceable. Fajitas were sizzling, though the portioning of the accompanying rice, beans, guac, cheese, etc was paltry. If you're feeling a bit more wild, you can hit the beef enchiladas, ancho salmon, mango-chile chicken, rack of ribs w Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce (not kidding), or any other number of chickeny/steaky things that come w some vaguely South of the Border flare. Most of it was def prepped somewhere else and carted to us with love on a semi-truck, but whatever, we had fun. Oh, get dessert if you feel like your week has been absent of poor life choices - we went for the toffee brownie skillet - fudgey, complete w that faint hint of chemical that belies the fact that it had at least 12 ingredients in it that have no business being in brownies, but the chocolate sauce drizzled over it + nilla ice cream + "toffee" bits really brought it home. I felt lightly ill afterwards but what a rush that was. Obs we needed booze to get through this adventure - and I have to say, all snobbery aside, the non-fancy margs are actually good. And if you feel like going hard they also serve drinks made w 901 - Justin Timberlake's tequila. Din for two was $60ish - is the food worth the price? No. But is it worth the LOLZ? Yes. Oh, and I think they also have a deal where you can get an app, two entrees, and maybe a dessert for $20...why we didn't do that, idk....but regardless, if you're looking for more of a budget night on the town, you can do that as well. Traveling for work brought me to W Springfield and this Chilis location was right by the hotel I was staying at. I came in for a beer and some dinner and pulled up a seat at the bar. Placed my order (beer and a salad), the beer was promptly served but the salad came out a long time after. The 3 people who were across from me ordered after me and got their burger, ribs and fajitas BEFORE I got my small, simple salad. Every single waiter and waitress had a chip on their shoulder and were incredibly rude to us- even to the children in our group. Chilis is a classic lunch go to for us! I've been coming to this specific location since I was 4 years old. Today we went again for lunch and I decided to support this location with a good review after having a great lunch here! I ordered the Old Timer burger with a black bean patty and no onions. It came with onions but it's such an easy thing to fix myself and they even asked if we wanted them to comp my meal or send it back. Like who the hell requests that much of a refund for such a small fix?! Our server was super friendly and we made some conversation with him. I wish I caught his name and I would give him a shoutout. The only thing is that there is a sign in the waiting area and on the door that says PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK TO PROTECT THE EMPLOYEES, OTHER DINERS, AND YOURSELF. Literally me and two other people were the only ones wearing masks. All of the other diners were not. The employees were though and it made us feel more comfortable. The chips and salsa is great! The chips came out hot and super crispy! The salsa has a tiny bit of a smoky kick (which is great) and a mild spicy taste! My burger was amazing and it tastes and looks exactly like the Morning Star black bean burgers which ARE amazing and the fries are seasoned well.
