Family and I went for dinner the other night and I ordered the chicken and mushroom fajitas. Everything was cooked perfect expect my sides of guacamole, salsa, sour cream and shredded cheese. My cheese was molded!!! Literally had green spots all in it and tasted like dirt. When we told the manager yes they sent me a replacement with fresh cheese but gave me a bullshit story of how that cheese was NOT molding (I MUST be mistaken) and was pepper jack cheese with seeds in it!! I know pepper jack cheese, and I know mold, that cheese was not pepper jack!! We were not given any discount or anything. I could not eat the rest of my dinner as I was sick to my stomach after I wanted nothing to do with it after that!! We will not be returning to that site again and that's sad to me because I love chili's but won't be told my food was not moldy when it in fact was! Won't be back. Gave this location several chances and each time we left regretting why we went. This time was the final straw. 20 mins to get greeted, 20 to get our drinks, an additional 15 mins to get my husband's drink because the tap blew and no one knew how to change the keg!!! This was the conversation we heard from the servers and the bartender!!! 20 mins to be asked if we were ordering dinner after that point ans 30 mins to offer up the check. Never saw a mgr, our apps came without utensils. The handheld at the table was out of receipt paper so I never got a reciept...which at this point was the least of our concern. I understand that they could have been short staffed....but where was the manager? Why did not a single employee have a sense of urgency? It was a holiday weekend...I would have spoken to the mgr had there been one around so it's social media and their corporate email that gets to hear my rant. read more

service tonight was terrible. Last Saturday we were at Chillis and had a great dinner. The dinner salad tonight was not so great. Last week it had spinach and was on a plate. Tonight the salad was in a little bowl and the waitress said that were out of clean dishes. Not acceptable. Then once we were served our waitress never came back. We sat down, took 20mins to get our drinks, ordered and appetizer, it came out burnt, reordered it then we didn't get it until the rest of our food came out, then I get my food & it has a HUGE hair in it!!! I send it back, reorder, & ended up not getting my food until I was ready to walk out the door!! I did NOT get to eat with my family, & the manager was NO HELP what so ever!!! It's been awhile since I have gone to chilis in Visalia and I remembered why today while waiting for my to go order I ordered from the app. It should have been ready by the time I got there to pick it up. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to even see why I was there. It should have been a quick in and out. I will no longer be back to this location. Chili's service is fast. Their place is always clean and tidy. The people that work there are so nice and friendly. The food's always great. Makes me want to keep going back all the time. My friends and I love going there for birthday dinners. I just love Chili's. I would recommend all my friends to go there. They would be very satisfied! read more

We always liked this place but, today it was the worse service by waitress and kitchen staff. First off the waitress didn't know her stuff saying the new steak didn't come with side of fries when the website says it does. Then they gave my wife's plate away to another table so she had to wait till they made it all over again. My steak was Burnt, my wife's side of the southwestern Mac and cheese didn't have everything on it. All steak orders he had were missing the butter on top 3 orders of fries. We order soup to be brought out before food we never got it. Service was slow. Sister in law ordered the steak with shrimp and she only got one shrimp on it. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Our waitress Jackie was HORRIBLE. three beers and an appetizer took her almost 2 hours. I had a water and was never offered a refill during those 2 hours. Chili's is by the best restaurant i've been to. I recall the fist time I ever went, is was with my father, for father's day. It was really packed like always, its such a great place to eat. The food was amazing, I had the best burger there and so did my father. Not only that but the waiter was fantastic! I would totally recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. read more

Chili's is like the McDonalds of Bar n Grill restaurants. You get slow service from entitled kids that don't care and the food is actually cooked with the same machines they use at McDonalds. If you have zero standards than this is the restaurant for you. I've ate a chili's a lot in the last 5 years and haven't seen a boost in quality the whole time. My girlfriend & I love to come here, but lately it's been going downhill. We tried calling to place a to-go order at 3 pm and they never answered it just kept ringing so we thought it might be busy. We tried calling maybe about 4 more times after that, but no answer still. So we said we would try again later, then we try again around 8 and still no one answered for to-go. So I called again but this time instead of to-go I called to speak to the manager. Thankfully he answered and I told him that no one answered to-go and I called about maybe 5 times and his response was that they were fixing the phone operating system. Then I placed my order with him, the manager, and he said it would take about 15 mins. So it took me about 20 mins to get there and I still had to wait an EXTRA 20 mins to get my food!! FUNNY thing is when I got there the phone was ringing off the hooks, working perfectly fine!! Ridiculous! To top it all off the manager didn't even take my order correctly and it was cold. My April Fool's prank was going to this restaurant! The waitress was horrible, getting our order wrong. After waiting 25 minutes the others in my party got their food but two were wrong. The food for everyone was "warm" at best and I was told my order was not out because the kitchen was behind in pasta. After everyone else in my party finished their food mine came, cold and the "grilled" shrimp was still frozen. I left without eating. Ok, back in the day (90s) Chili's was good. Their menu is now all over the place as they can't decide if they want to be a Mexican food/Tex-mex or an American diner or country kitchen or . . . Their menu reads as they want to please everyone, sacrificing quality. For this site specifically the hostess pushed us towards open seating in the bar despite the restaurant being fairly empty "I CAN seat you, but if you want the bar is open". She just stared at us so we went to the bar. Our waitress came and took our order, but was also bartender and lord knows what else because she disappeared for 20 minutes with our drink glasses remaining empty during that time. Food was meh, even for the price. (Seriously Chili's stick to your Tex-Mex). Was only there because someone gave me a $50 gift card. After 45 mins I flagged down our waitress for the bill, gave her the gift card, she came back and had run the wrong table on it. Really I could have walked, our bill was $43, she charged us $26 (think it was the check for the table next to us) and even pointed out i had $24 left by handing me the receipt. At first I was confused but then saw a child's meal was on the ticket (no children here). I had to flag down another waitress after 5 minutes because again ours was MIA. Since it was a gift card she tried to do this weird math trying to correct the error by charging the gift card a particular amount leaving it with $4. I tried pointing out to her (doing math in my head) there should be $7 left. She said no, said she did the math on her phone, pulled it out again to show me, then screwed up again getting a third number. I just told her there should be $7 left and just to take the gift card and keep the rest as a tip. She thanked me for not skipping out. But still. Should not be this complicated. read more

I came in Saturday night with my family. The wait was a little long considering there were plenty of tables open. When we got our table, our server Jose greeted us but seemed very panicked or in a hurry. I work in a restaurant so I understand. Our drinks were brought to us almost immediately. I was discussing what I should order when the girl who brought my drinks recommended the fajitas, she said it's her favorite and she eats here on her days off and always gets that. She talked with us about how she loves how there's such a wide variety of options here. Once we were ready to order I flagged down our server who again was very busy, but for as busy as he was, he came over right away! As time passed our food was taking a little longer than expected, the same girl who brought our drinks asked if we needed anything and offered to get us refills. When she came back she said she said our food was almost ready and she will get it out ASAP for us. Within about 3 minutes she brought our food out, and then us realizing we had no utensils she grabbed some for us as well as made many trips to the kitchen to grab some ranch and sauces for me and my family. She had told me her name was Kaitlyn and she said she tries to help out as much as she can. Jose brought over our check when finishing up and he was very genuine and nice. When leaving the restaurant kaitlyn said bye to us with a big smile that could light up the room which made us feel that she enjoyed us being in the restaurant. Great service! read more
