I'm writing this review on behalf of my daughter. She came in today (March 29 around 12pm) with her boyfriend as an after prom date. She ordered Mozzarella sticks (honey chipotle Burger bites Crispers Nashville hot She didn't like the taste of the honey chipotle. She informed her server. Then she was told by the manager she would have to pay $6 to get the mozzarella sticks in Nashville hot. Explain to me why did she have to pay for something she didn't eat or like!! All the manager has to was come the item that was replaced. We will never be back to this franchise Chili's ever again. She was not being a Chilli Head! I wish I could give negative stars read more

Service was good. And the timing my food came out was great, too. I loved the atmosphere. My main issue was the taste of the food. I guess I just got the wrong things because I never tried them before and wanted to try something different in case I liked it instead of my usual order of burger and fries. I tried the fried mozzarella sticks. It was super salty. I think I have a sensitivity to salt because I barely finished two. And the brisket quesadilla was way too sweet for me. It was okay with the sour cream. I took my leftovers home because I'm not wasting my money, I'll eat the rest. But yeah, not getting that stuff ever again. I'll stick with the burgers and fries, or the chicken tenders. I would probably say the ribs, too but idk if they use the same bbq sauce on the brisket as they do for the ribs and it was really sweet. read more

I don't know why I came back considering our last experience...probably because our friends wanted to go. Absolutely horrible service. Half our party got their food (burgers) within 5 minutes of ordering. We thought...hey, this is great...ours is probably on it's way. Nope...20 minutes later we got our food that had been sitting under a heat lamp. The waitress definitely didn't want to be there. She forgot a salad for one person and fries for 3 people. The foot was HORRIBLE. I had one piece of my quesadilla and I was done. The only thing that was good was the Diet Coke. Took my kids and grand kids for lunch and had a great time!!! Sat in the patio and spread out and ordered some drinks and chips , fries for the kiddos and just chilled with a cold beer until we ordered. We got the kids a pizza and they ate a lot of chips and fries and I got the brisket quesadillas which were really tasty! We had a triple sampler and a chicken avocado salad for a gluten free option and all was tasty! Service was spot in, they were packed and managed to handle us with a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old so kudos !! We had a great time , good food and kid friendly . Highly recommend ! read more

From handing me a menu covered in God knows what filth, to the wait staff assigned to the table being to busy to perform their job The food was mediocre, the atmosphere typically sports bar. When I paid withh cash, the wait staff couldn't or wouldn't provide the proper change...and shorted me.59 cents. If they scam enough people they get a bigger tip. I've been to this Chili's several times over the years. It's a great sit-down after traveling long distances by car. We were sat with Jess, who was ending her shift and passed us to "Jess." It must have been an exhausting shift because we all had a good laugh, including Kylie, who was actually the name of the server she was passing us to and made the correction. I had the new chicken sandwich on the menu, my husband had the Cajun chicken pasta, my son had the bacon cheeseburger, and another acquaintance of ours had another style of burger. It was all good food and distraction and Kylie took very good care of us. It was easy to split the bill, as we headed it off at the beginning of our visit, and it's easy to pay at the table digitally, even with a split bill. Parking was pretty packed, but there's a plaza directly behind it with a movie theater and shops, and it's not like we need to have the closest parking. We should be back on a future stop! read more

As you can see from the photo, the food was delicious and hot but the service was the worst I've experience in a hot minute. It was a party of two and our server name was Janae during noon. The beginning was great she took our appetizers and our drinks. We waited for our first orders of drinks for 35 mins. We asked another server to receive our drinks.She came back a apology,Then she took our entre orders. This took another 20 minutes.She came back with another apology and we got our food and drinks . After that, We were waiting for the server to come back so we can get our Togo boxes and leave. This took another 10 minutes. We asked 3 other workers for togo boxes, condiments, and refills but they just said Janae is coming...We're extremely aggravated at this point. we didn't have complicated orders btw. Just cheese dip, chicken tenders, boneless wings and lemonade. She kept filling up other people orders and ignoring us for the longest. The last few time's we been here the food was cold and not very tasty. We went back a few weeks ago and they had a food rating of 74. Few weeks later went back again and the rating was 90. Smelt good so we gave it a go. The waiter brought us plastic ware to eat with. Don't need to say anything else. I did order the fajitas. They were pretty good. And hot. But over all it's gone down hill. Need to hire people that care about what they are doing. It will go a long way. read more

Been to Chili's numerous times across the country. First time at this location in Valdosta. Since it was a nice evening I sat outside on the patio. I was the only one out there so I immediately wondered how the service would be. I guess my hunch was correct. Took a while for the server to come just to take my drink order. They had a special on a half rack of ribs with house fries, salad, and chocolate molten desert all for $10.99. Too good to pass this up. I have had Chili's ribs before, and I must say these were not the best but just OK. The fries were good and fresh. Salad was good, but the ranch dressing was definitely water down. The mini chocolate molten cake was also just OK as I could tell it was just microwaved part of it was hot and part of it was cold. Each time the waiter brought out some of my food, he always apologize for the wait. Never did get a drink refill for my water. I travel quite a bit and I must say I usually stay away from chain restaurants just because I like the local places. Usually better food and better service at the local restaurants. Coming back to Chili's I was reminded of that. I'm staying in town for six days, and will not be back here. read more

We went to Chili's for a double date. I didn't have too high expectations because it's Chili's. But I did expect courteous service and reasonably priced, and good food. The kiosk that has the specialty menu (gluten sensitive, etc) didn't work. On the regular menu, if you don't go for the "two-for" or "three-for" whatever deals, the other choices are overpriced. $18.99 is just too much for a sirloin steak overly seasoned with garlic and undercooked (and I don't mind rare). Just give me what I asked for and test what you serve. The waiter rarely stuck by to help longer than 10 seconds at a time. We seemed like a nuisance to him. And we ended up burning $100. Maybe at a really nice place but not Chili's. read more

Had lunch at this location for the first and last time yesterday. The food was horrible at best. As it was Friday I was hoping for a simple fish sandwich. Not on the menu, ok no problem. The offerings were salmon, which I don't care for, or shrimp, which I was having that evening. So, I ordered some fried pickles and french fries. The fried pickles were so over done and greasy they were inedible. They arrived in a huge clump fried together like a giant pickle ball. After attempting to eat a few it was clear the oil used to fry them in had not been changed in some time. My husband ordered a quesadilla with chips and a salad. The salad came out finally but we had to ask THREE TIMES for flatware. The food was bland and the chips, like the pickles, fried in a clump, and inedible. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, the service was slow and inattentive. After asking for the flatware the third time the server seemed annoyed and shouted to another server to get it for us. Some of the worst food and service I have ever received in a restaurant. My husband and I were both nauseous after the horrible meal. Please save yourself the indigestion and go somewhere else. read more

Ahh, Chili's. There's one in every town, and it's a perfect haven for the indecisive. Someone's craving Mexican, someone else is craving a steak, and yet another person just wants a salad...Chili's is the place to go. But how does such a predictable, large chain get a five-star rating, you may ask? Killer service. For real. My tea glass never goes empty, the servers always have recommendations of delicious food when I am simply incapable of making up my mind, and sometimes, they find a way to simply go above and beyond. I won't be naming names, because I've gotten in trouble for the same sort of awesome service at previous jobs ("You can't do that! It's not on the menu/corporate approved/you didn't complete corporate training for that!"), but here we go. I ordered the fried shrimp, hoping to eat them with some delicious cocktail sauce. I don't think I've seen a restaurant that serves fried shrimp but doesn't offer cocktail or tartar sauce. When my food arrived, I asked for cocktail sauce, and was informed that Chili's doesn't stock it. POOP. I racked my brain, trying to decide what they have that might be good on shrimp. Ranch? BBQ sauce? Honey mustard? Ketchup? While my brain was spinning its wheels, my server said "Hang on a sec." Two minutes later, there was a bowl of freshly-made cocktail sauce on my table. Spicy, horseradish-y, sweet, blessed cocktail sauce. This, my dears, is how you get a $13 tip from my husband and I. Keep it up, Awesome Chili's Server. You totally made my night. read more

Chili's continues to disappoint me, particularly this location. During my last visit I had just two chicken wings and became very sick immediately. We had to leave without eating our meal. I have heard bad things about the food but this was the first time I experienced it for myself. I would definitely not recommend this location and will not be returning in the future. My family and I have gone to this Valdosta location ever since it opened. No longer! This last visit has ended my hopes that it could pull out of the downward spiral that is destroying a once enjoyable restaurant. I've noticed the decline starting two visits ago, but tonight was horrible! It was prime dinner time, and only half full, so the wait staff/kitchen was not busy, and yet we waited 10 minutes to have our order taken. When the food arrived, not everything showed. We asked the waitress for our salads, and she apologized and said she'd be right back...so we proceeded to eat chicken that was only breading, and vegetables that were not seasoned, and everything just thrown on a plate with no attempt at presentation! I've ordered basically the same meal at KFC for a third the cost, and it was amazing, and then there's this pitiful show... As we were trying to make it to a movie, we went ahead and ate, and dealt with it. A non-professional manager walked by as we have a mouthful, taps the table with "Y'all doing okay here? Good." And keeps walking without waiting for an answer. The waitress brings a drink refill, and I ask for our salads, and she acts surprised and goes back to get them. We don't see her again, until I chase her down for a refill, and remind her that we still haven't gotten our salads. She comes back with drinks, and explains that the "salad person" forgot, but that it'd be just a minute... We finish eating ten minutes later, and there's still no sign of our waitress, so I try to find her to let her know to forget the salads, and just bring the check. We get a full cost check, and a non-concerned apology, and left with a set determination to never come back. I could understand/forgive the service, and quality of the food, if they had been swamped, and had made an effort to make things right. But when you see staff hanging out, talking and joking, you know that it's just a lack of care for the customers. I'm realistic, and understand that sometimes a member of the staff has a bad night...I don't flip out, and if it's a place I've had good experiences with in the past, I'll give them another chance. But when EVERY aspect of a visit is substandard; inattentive waitress, poor quality food/presentation, unprofessional/insincere manager, and a "salad person" who takes half an hour to make two side salads...never again. read more

My truck broke done in Georgia and I stayed in a hotel for a few nights. I went to chili's to watch the Cubs gam, have a few drinks and some food. I had a blast there. This location can get very crowded, I have had to wait a few times, service is pretty reliable once seated.
