Five out of five. Would be a ten out of five idc they allowed me. This place is THE BEST AND NOBODY CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE. Everybody needs to go. Food is amazing, literally everything is so good. Go try it!

Love this place! Food is always great. Prices are good too. Normally sit down to eat, but the other day I was craving chips and salsa and the To-Go order hit the spot perfectly.

We are not from this area and looking for a good Mexican restaurant to have dinner at. A person suggested Rodeo Mexican restaurant and we did. The parking lot was full and if you're driving anything bigger than a F150 you need to park in the lot next door in a closed restaurant. We were able to get a table right away. The place was busy, they have margaritas happy hour 4-6 @ 3.99 each. Plus they have a Texas margarita specials on Thursday's all day long for 4.99. We tried both. They are really good. I got dinner special #6. Two beef tacos that came with beans and rice. Wife got the Taquitos. Both Came out looking hot and amazing The Chicken taquitos came out perfect and there were 4 of them. We probably could have shared them, they were delicious. I got 2 tacos with beans and rice. Super good. Just a great atmosphere very family friendly. Very friendly staff and our waiter was super friendly and helpful. What a great place for dinner. If I'm ever back in the area I will be returning

    Cozumel Special - delicious!

This place is great. Very busy, but that's understandable. Service was great. Tables were a little close together, but I really enjoyed the food and service. And $2.99 margaritas on Wednesdays - that's a spectacular price and a delicious margarita. Cozumel Special was quite good too.

So good I didn't wait until I was done eating to write this review. Small place, which usually means better. Has the Queso-Birria specialty meal with a side of rice. Salsa - awesome, rice - flavorful, actual Birria - amazing. Excellent staff. Quick service. Everything you want! I was just driving through so don't pass on this place if you're driving through. If you live in this area, I imagine you already know.

Two cheese enchiladas combo with rice and beans to go. Also known as "heaven in an aluminium container." Yumma!

This was, actually, my first Rodeo. Rodeo Mexican Restaurant, that is! And goodness gracious. What was meant to be a brief stop off the highway for lunch turned out to be some of the best enchiladas (queso) I've ever had. Just. Wow. Creamy cheese, slightly crisped at the edges tortillas that were not soggy, the perfect amount of sauce to accentuate but not overpower. I may drive back through here soon just for these again.

This is good and bad-good because you're not eating yesterday's food and bad because you have to look for something else. Thanks to Yelp, Rico's Tacos was just down the street so we said, "why not". Rico's has a pretty extensive menu but we opted for tacos. There were many varieties offered and each taco could be customized by choosing the type of tortilla and whatever garnishes such as onions, tomato, peppers, cilantro etc. you wanted. We both ordered a carne asada and al Pastor tacos. Another wonderful find. these tacos were unbelievably good with great meats and flavors. We also sampled the standard and "hot" salsas preferring the hot. Service was quick and friendly. I'll also add "patient" as this was our first time and we had lots of decisions to make. Rico's is another stop to add to our driving south (and back home) list.

I even change my travel plans so I can get some of the amazing food here. I eat "carnivore" and their Keto Tacos are simply delicious and perfect for me. A tortilla mate out of cheese stuffed with whatever yummy meat you choose. And the prices are very reasonable. The staff is always pleasant and efficient. Love Love Love Rico's!!!

There are three things that make this place stand out in a sea of Mexican restaurants. 1. Service…read more- From the first time we came in, weeks after they opened, we found a unique feature. Every employee is considered your server. Yes, you'll have a primary, but you'll be asked several extra times if there is something you need, or to take dishes out of the way. At first it was a little annoying, but we've learned to love this excellent service. Then you will find there are some exceptional personalities that emerge. Our favorite is Leydis, but all the servers are well trained and work hard to make your visit special. Leydis' husband Orli is frequently the bar tender. For a special treat, try his "Margarita Fresca" made with fresh squeezed juices. 2. Decor - The restaurant is decorated with a vast range of hand carved furniture, which we learned is sourced from Tonola, a suburb of Guadalajara. As I understand it, the owner of the furniture factory is a partner on the restaurant as well, so there is some exceptional art. Be sure to wander a little while you can. 3. Food, there is a wonderful variety of choices, including some I'm sure you've never heard of. They do a great job on the molcajete. We have our "go to" dishes, including one they specialize just for me, but I encourage all to experiment. Two more special things to consider. First, we come a lot on Tuesdays in part to take advantage of Taco Tuesday (see photo). At $1.99 each, it's a better price than even fast food tacos, and you get these beasts instead. Second, be sure to ask for the hot salsa sampler. Each has a very unique flavor, but a manageable 'bite'. I think they should feature this, and include information on the origins of each flavor. *Absolutely* the best in Lake City, and our favorite anywhere in the states that we have visited. Well worth the trip for us (we drive 30 miles every week to go).
