Goodness where do I start. Wanted to have a good time with some friends after our church service and it couldn't have been any worse. Waited nearly an hour for our food, to have orders wrong, food was cold and chicken wasn't fully cooked. Our server never came back to the table after knowing how bad our meals came out. Me and wife usually have patience when it comes to service since she used to be a server, manager wasn't helpful either. This visit was unacceptable in so many ways. Will not ever go back to this Chili's. I'd rather go to the one on Haywood Rd. read more

This was my second visit in a month. Both have been busy times. Labor Day evening and Sunday Lunch. Service needs some work. I will give them an "A" for effort but "C" for execution. Keeping drinks filled napkins provided and faster service needs attention. read more

Horrible dining experience on 3/21/19 around 3 p.m. Were seated, table was dirty and no one waited on us. Had to ask several times for utensils, a menu and for our order to be taken. Once order taken sat for 40 minutes waiting - got our drinks halfway through but never once had a waiter check on us or explain what was taking so long. Finally, we flagged a waitress down and asked her to check on our food order. Approximately 5 minutes later the food arrived (as we were getting up to leave). We left and did not accept our food order. The staff were never able to explain why the food was so late in arriving to the table. There were approximately 12 customers in the restaurant - the 2 tables closest to us also were experiencing problems. Will NEVER go there again and do not anticipate the restaurant being open long in Simpsonville. Andy H. read more

I don't understand why a chain restaurant with 2 other locations not far away wouldn't mix in some experienced staff with the new staff until they got things going and some routines in place. Just read all the comments regarding this location. It seems that I don't even need to explain the fiasco that occurred when we went, lets just say that 30 minutes after we ordered shrimp tacos, we were informed that there was no shrimp in the building !! WOW, they must have looked everywhere since it took that long to ask that we re-order ! read more

Horrible service!! If you are hiring people to work with the public then hire personable staff. Our family of 4 went in for a late lunch. Lots of empty tables, plenty of servers standing around either talking or eating. Our waitress was clearly having a bad day but don't take it out on the customer. She was not around anytime we needed a refill on drinks or chips. When she did come around it was to complain that she was dealing with another table. Listen, I don't need to see behind the curtain of Oz. I would just like when I'm spending my hard earned money on a meal that I didn't have to cook that it's actually delivered with some sort of pleasantries instead of a grunt. When I asked for napkins because they were never originally given to us you would have thought I asked for her first born. Note to managers: you may want I have your staff take some classes on how to treat the public. Or better yet, just hire pleasant people. read more

My husband and I went here for the first time and we will not be back for a while...if ever! We ordered the $22 dinner for two - we got our appetizer of chips and salsa (not hard to mess up that even though some of the chips weren't fried, but still soggy) then comes out our cajun chicken pasta...both of our pasta plates were cold and had very little alfredo sauce on them which just dried out the entire dish! We waited for a while for our waitress to come back and when she did she said she would get a manager. When the manager finally came over he NEVER apologized and said he would get our food "warmed up" (should have been my first sign) a few minutes later, he came back with our pastas and not only were they still COLD, but we could tell that the pastas were just placed into a MICROWAVE to be warmed up! Yup the thought that their "cooks" and manager thought that it was a good idea to put already "dried up plates of pasta" into the microwave just baffles my mind! My alfredo sauce was again forgotten so he went to get me more which never came... In the time waiting for the sauce and discovering that our food was cold for the second time, my husband then noticed that a piece of his chicken was raw!! it was cold to the touch and mushy...how disgusting! We waited about 10 more minutes to see if our waitress or the manager would come by, but that never happened so we then flagged down a different manager. After telling him what was going on and that the chicken was raw his words were "that's weird"!! THAT'S WEIRD?...that chicken is raw?? WOW! We told him we would be paying for our drinks but we would not be eating this food or paying for it! Still no apology! After ANOTHER 15 or so minutes the waitress came back to see if they had taken the food off of our bill (the only way we knew of anything was to keep looking at the the table top screen because neither one of the managers came back nor were we given an actual receipt!) The waitress finally came back and told us to check the screen again because the manager had finally taken off the 2 pastas...so YUP, they made us pay for the appetizer and drinks, which was a small price to pay considering we just wanted to get out of there asap! Bottom line is: poor management, unqualified cooks, and just ok service... save your money and go else where! The way we were treated (or not treated) during and after that horrendous "meal" by management made us feel like they don't care about their customers! And the kitchen... well, they cant even get grilled chicken and pasta right! What a damn shame!! Hoping that they haven't got anybody sick YET! read more

Hands down my worst dining experience in a long time. I went in with my daughter and son in law on 12/5/18 at 8pm. We have all been in the service industry. We appreciate and know how hard the job is and are generous tippers. We were greeted immediately by the hostess. She was very friendly and quickly sat us. We were seated in Lexi's section. Lexi did not approach or acknowledge us for at least 10 minutes. When she did she asked us for our drink orders. We ordered two glasses of wine and a beer. Pretty simple and basic. She asked us twice to place our food order prior to us even receiving our beverages. We were confused as to what was taking the bar so long. There was little to no one in there. We waited 15 to 20 minutes just for beverages. We then placed our food order. We ordered an appetizer and our meals. I ordered a second glass of wine to have with my dinner as well. Our appetizer was delivered literally 30 seconds before our dinners. Fried pickles were good. Our pasta meals were cold and mediocre at best. I had to ask the server for the garlic toast that was to accompany the meals. She disappeared. She never asked how our meals were, if she could get us anything else, refills, etc. We spotted her on the other side of the restaurant rolling silverware / doing side work and holding what appeared to be a staff members baby. My second glass of wine was never delivered. There was no one in the bar. We all completed our meals. I laid my card on the table. Clear indication I was ready to pay and leave. She finally came back to our table. I told her I would not need that second glass of wine as I had finished eating. I asked could I just please pay. She said hold on with an extreme attitude. I have to get that glass of wine removed from your bill. She seemed very frustrated and inconvenienced. Jessica, the manager on duty, came over to our table. She was extremely sweet and apologetic. I told her about our dining experience. I made sure she knew I did not want anything for free. I wanted her to be aware of how the server treated us. Maybe the service industry isn't for her or she may possibly be having a bad or off night. I never write bad reviews only positive ones. However, I felt this experience was worth sharing. read more

We love Chili's and decided to visit the new one in Simpsonville. First of all, the entire layout looks like a cafeteria. We did not like the setup at all. The waitress that we had... OMG - everytime I asked for something (i.e. extra dressing, ketchup, etc), she would roll her eyes and give me a look as if she was annoyed that I was asking for anything that we needed! She also was adamant that they didn't have a particular dressing that EVERY other Chili's has. Didn't bother to verify or check. The manager ultimately told me they did have the dressing and he wasn't sure why she didn't know that. She also would come to our table and say "hey guys" every single time... quite annoying and a bit unprofessional. I had asked her for something one time and it took her about 15 minutes to get it to me. Meanwhile, I saw her and a couple of other waitresses hanging around the register talking. The manager seemed really nice but I'm afraid that this restaurant WILL NOT succeed unless he cleans house really quickly. We will stick to the one on Haywood even though it's a farther drive. read more
